Excellent shawarma! Whether it's a chicken, beef, or gyro, wrap or over rice, you won't be disappointed.

My first thought was "the Mediterranean version of Chipotle?"…read more I am really glad I decided to get some takeout from them because they had a 2-for-1 meal deal so I got two giant bowls (enough food for 4+ people?) and two interesting drinks for less than $21. Dining out these days often ends up being more like $20+ per person so this was a nice change. I doubt we'll get the cucumber mint drink again but I really liked the cilantro kale blueberry carrot drink. The custom bowls were great. I was only in the restaurant for a couple minutes so all I noticed is that it seemed pretty big and air conditioned.

BEWARE: Double-check your receipt; we were incorrectly upcharged. We ordered a build-your-own bowl…read morewith chicken shawarma, which should have cost $14.55 including tax. Instead, we were charged for a honey harissa chicken signature bowl that costed $17.91. When we first questioned the charge, the employee insisted we received honey harissa chicken. We looked at our bowl and it was clearly chicken shawarma. When we brought it up again, we were told the price difference was only $1. Another employee stepped in and claimed that build-your-own bowls don't include protein and that all protein is an extra charge. We explained that only certain protein options are upcharges (honey harissa chicken + steak and lamb) and asked her to ring the order up again to verify. After checking the register, she realized we were right and refunded the $3 difference. While we appreciate receiving the refund, it's concerning that the employees don't seem to have a basic understanding of their own menu and pricing. They both confidently gave incorrect information before taking a moment to verify the facts. Definitely check your receipts carefully to make sure you're being charged correctly. While we eventually received a refund, we had to dispute the charge multiple times before it was finally corrected. There was no apology--only arguments and repeated explanations for why the charge was supposedly correct. Hopefully management can provide additional training so employees are more familiar with the menu and pricing going forward.

Same tables and chairs, wall decor, bakery cases, etc. The difference was the colorful signs for Shibam, and television and menu boards showcasing the offerings. First of all the lentil soup on the menu was served in a large bowl with naan bread, with the soup exactly as I hoped. Warm, flavorful, mild spices. On the side I ordered zucchini pancakes, 3 deep fried little latke-like patties. Very tasty with accompanying tsaziki sauce. The two guys with me polished off a large mixed grill for two. One said the rice was incredible! They loved all the various meat offerings of chicken, lamb and beef. We shared a made in house Mediterranean dessert made with coconut and honey. Very sweet and served cold. Total was $58, very reasonable! When the server ran my card she bypassed gratuity so between us we gathered up cash for a tip. They had some fountain sodas available and some special drinks in a fridge. No tea of any kind available and normally I take off for that, but the food was so good I have to overlook that. They were out of cheese roll pastry, but given they were one of very few places open Labor Day being out of an item or two is understandable. They were doing some door dash type business and another couple came to dine in. I hope locals will begin to discover this little hidden Mediterranean jewel just a few doors down from County Grill.

Restaurant is clean, small and inviting for a casual meal. Wait staff was quick to offer service and our order quickly prepared. I have a deep love for shawarmas and once I saw a place near me opened and had shawarma on their menu, I had so much hope. Unfortunately, that hope quickly faded after the first bite. It wasn't bad or gross in any shape or form. The seasoning and the flavor was just not what I've come to love having eaten shawarmas all over the world. Grape leaves for appetizer were good as was the hummus. The pita bread with the hummus was good, but would've been a nicer touch had it been made fresh. My husband rated his lamb gyro 6.5/10.

My mother ordered biscuits and gravy and a side order of an egg and bacon. I have to say, their biscuits and gravy hit the spot. Much better than the last breakfast place we stopped into the day before. When my omelette came out wrong, she was telling me not to apologize and that she would fix it. As she was telling the cook, "what did my ticket say", another waitress was stating that it happened multiple times that day. Waitress were very frustrated with the kitchen. When the kitchen makes mistakes, it affects their tips. For most, this is a known fact. Others may not be aware of. Anyway, When my omelette came out the 2nd time, it was right. Thanks to our waitress. Management should speak with the kitchen staff about the little things that can really hurt, not only the income for the waitresses, but also the restaurant itself.
