I had a nightmare trying to find a dress for my bridal shower (I'm plus sized, much wider on the bottom than the top, so I had to size up and was terrified it would never look right). The tailor here is phenomenal. She knew exactly how to cut and fit it so the pattern stayed perfect and the length was super flattering. So as soon as I got my dress, I went hunting online and found Wonhee. She is extremely patient and nice and obviously knows what she is doing. We brought her not only my wedding dress but a reception dress as well as my mother's dress. She recommended that she change the buttons on the back as they were too flimsy and gave me a beautiful bustle and altered straps. My mother and I were worried that it was too tight but she knew what she was doing because in the end it looked beautiful and fitted and didn't put too much pressure on the delicate straps to hold the dress up. She brings her expertise and makes recommendations that would never even come into my mind. For that, i am extremely thankful for her guidance and how she put our minds at ease. Rather than taking responsibility for their mistake, the staff were dismissive and unhelpful. They refused to offer any compensation for the inconvenience, even though we now had to make an extra trip to correct their error. Even more shocking, they asked us to pay additional money despite this being entirely their fault. Because of this situation, it also disrupted and complicated our scheduled appointment with the alterations shop. This entire experience caused unnecessary stress during what should have been a special and joyful time. The lack of accountability and poor customer service turned what is one of the most important moments in my daughter's life into a very negative experience.

My straps were too big on me and very loose on my back. Judy stitched it well and told me she left the extra fabric in case I ever needed to loosen it again. Judy's store is small and packed. However, there are many clothing items ready to pick up or be worked on. You can see she's been doing this business for a long time. Friendly, assertive, and to the point. Now I have a go-to spot for alterations! Parking is available along the side street, and pay the meters. I paid in cash, and I didn't check to see if all forms of payment can be used.
