I love waffles, I have a waffle iron, I've tried waffles in many different American cities and these are some of the best waffles I've ever had. Making Liege waffles isn't an easy task but they make this look like child's play and taste like an work of art. The place is most stop for anyone who loves waffles, the staff is incredibly nice and helpful and the establishment itself was spotless. There are times when rating any place you wish there was a way to give zero stars or in this case I truly was I could give them ten stars because they've earned it. Just like Steve's review below, it was slathered in toppings but the waffle itself was awful. The rude woman making the coffee drinks made my caramel latte wrong and rolled her eyes when I kindly asked her for an adjustment. She didn't fix it right and it tasted bad so it went in the trash. We had a really bad experience at this breakfast cafe. We got there and they announced that they did not have any paninis. We were disappointed but gladly most of our group of 4 we're happy with ordering waffles. We ordered the waffles but could see that the employees were bickering in the back ground. Then one employee from the back yelled that waffles would take 20 mins. We were cool with waiting but then 5 mins later they called us up and said how they were out of waffles. So they offered us quiche or croissants. We decided to just get the quiche and croissants but they never offered to give us a refund on the difference. When we asked for a price adjustment they were very rude about it. The quiche was dry the croissant was burnt. I do not recommend this restaurant. read more

It was right across from St. John the Baptist Cathedral and it had outdoor seating that offered a view of the basilica and Lafayette square. The coffee selection itself was amazing and I highly recommend the specialty coffees and teas (I ordered a different one each morning and they were all unique and delicious).
