I LOVE it here for threading brows. I hate ATLs threading brow options and I'm honestly had so many bad experience says including my eyebrows basically disappearing. I'm from Virginia so I was scarred when I was introduced to the threading options in Atlanta. However, the only thing that saved me is this place. I highly recommend it. It's not super fancy and it's kind of hidden and a one-man shop type thing but it beats out every other place that I've been to that might see Mormon together on the outside. read more

So, I've been super cautious and avoiding unnecessary ventures due to Covid 19, but my brows were looking more and more like caterpillars so I decided to check and see if Saylah was open. Thankfully, they are! I was nervous about threading because technicians generally have the thread in their mouths, so I assumed a mask would be difficult. Not so! I was happy to learn that there is a different technique that allows the technicians to mask up. My eyebrows have never looked better. Masks are required and staff are wearing masks. You must call when you arrive and you will be let in so there is no interaction with other guests. read more

I was referred to Saylah threading by a hairstylist. I went by (at least I think I did--explain soon) on Wednesday, 11/22 as I wanted fresh arches. I get there after 3pm. There were several people ahead of me. The wait wasn't that bad. Maybe 15/20 minutes? Location was accurate about being on Amsterdam and in Beya Salons. What I wasn't sure about if I was truly at Saylah's. I just put my name on the waiting list and prayed my service would be fine. Pricing was a bit more than I usually pay for brow and upper lip--$15. It pinched at little, but no nicks! Perfect. I can't remember the young ladies name. Started with H. I asked for rose water, but she originally gave me witch hazel. Eventually found rose water. Saylah the owner is so kind and really knows what she's doing. I have been getting my eyebrows waxed for my whole life... until I got on retinol and knew I needed to switch to threading. I had the same lady who waxed my brows my whole life, and Saylah was the first person I let work on them that wasn't her. She made me feel so comfortable, talking me through what she was doing and making recommendations, not to mention it wasn't painful and was SO quick. How does this place have 5 star reviews!?? The lady spent literally 15 seconds to do both my eyebrows. She left a nasty gash on my forehead on the left side and two small ones on the right. To add, she had a severe cold and was coughing constantly. Completely unprofessional to work when you're sick and work so close to client's faces. Never coming here again and will never recommend to anyone. Update : I got a call from the owner and the salon associate apologizing for the experience, while I can't change my review I do appreciate them for their quick response and for making sure that the customers are heard. I'm new to ATL so I'm still finding places of maintenance. After peeping reviews, I thought I'd try Saylah. It's located in the Beya salon (in the back corner) in the shopping strip by the park. I struggled trying to find it. Went in on a busy Thursday evening, No real wait. By the time I found the waiting area (upstairs) it was my turn. She's nice, helpful, even saw me up to 10mins before closing (since I got lost). The results are great, although painful so beware, if you new to this, YOU WILL CRY. FROM THREADING. Even if you don't want to. I spent $20 flat on a full face (brows,chin,lip). Which is the best pricing I've ever seen. I found a new regular place. read more

Found my new go-to threading spot! I have been to a few places around town since moving here six years ago, and this is by far the best. I used to be a regular at a different shop, and most of the time the pain was at a level that caused my eyes to water. They would also over-thread, and then comment that one was thinner than the other--when really most of it was due to what they were doing. Not here! Very minimal pain and the shape is very good. When you walk in you'll see there are multiple people with their own shops for various beauty services. You'll see Saylah's door around the corner on the right. If the door is closed, just sign your name on the whiteboard and wait upstairs. Should have gone here a long time ago! read more

I've been getting my brows threaded for some time since I found out about it on a Vogue magazine mid 2000s. I found a place near by my old place in Johns Creek and got them threaded. I didn't know if it was good or bad but just convenient. I remember the owner did a much better job than her employees but hey, I was still new to threading. I've been to other places that I've taken my co-workers, friends, etc. and they complain about the pain and the irritation that comes with after threading (which isn't supposed to happen). My friends complain about the same thing but hey, I like threading and I didn't know what was a good threading experience until I came to Saylah's. No pain, no redness, and quick. It was probably the best threading experience I've ever had. I walked out with no redness and no irritation. None. I was amazed. My brows are in rehab but she did a FANTASTIC job at cleaning them up and shaping them. She also did my upper lip and it was all for a fantastically great price of $15. My friends saw my brows and commented they looked great even without me drawing them in! I highly recommend this place and will be only exclusively attending Saylah's from now on for my brows. read more

Probably the faster ever at threading eyebrows but her work is impeccable lol I am not going to lie I was nervous to sit up & look in the mirror based on how fast she threaded my eyebrows but they were literally perfect.
