Time after time minor ER doctors just prescribed nasal sprays and antibiotics which did absolutely nothing but offer temporary relief. It wasn't until I was referred to Dr. Nicolau that my life completely changed. I immediately felt the genuine care and passion she has for her patients. She was incredibly warm and caring. CT results showed I had a deviated septum and polyps all throughout my sinuses. Surgery was recommended. Although I was incredibly nervous, I knew I was in good hands. The appointment went well, wait times were 10-15 minutes and the doctor was thorough and had a pleasant bedside manner. The problems started when we tried to get in touch with the doctor or representative a few days after the appointment due to an anaphylactic reaction to the antibiotic. It took 3 days of calling and leaving messages to get a return call. On day 3, they called the wrong number-the backup number-and left a message to call the office back. My daughter did within and hour and still no return call. It has now been 6 days and she still hasn't gotten instructions or a new prescription. She has strep throat verified on a culture. I left a message for Marabel, the back office lead and am waiting for her return call. UPDATE: I never received a call back from Marabel so that evening I called the after hours emergency line and received a call back from Dr. Clegg himself. He was very apologetic and stated his nurse has been out several days with an emergency and that he had already called in an alternate medication last week. The problem was with the pharmacy that failed to fill the script and then notify us. A new med was called in within an hour. I originally rated this practice 2 stars but have upgraded to 4 stars due to the doctors handling of the problem.

They are consistently running late and the wait times are just really long. I have to plan to be at my appointments for 1-2 hours. The doctor will come in, then leave for you to do a 2 min test, then return 20-30 min later. They are also challenging to get in touch with. They answer the phone quickly but then put me on hold for long periods of time. 10-30 min. Normally there reasoning for this is that they are short staffed. The doctors also really pushed me towards allergy shots originally until they realized my insurance did not cover it. Then they said it was not necessary and was unlikely to be super successful for my specific allergies. So that was odd. I keep coming because the doctors are great. I just wish they honored patient time a bit more.
