They were strict on last call for the allotted time of our reservation and had no qualms about kicking us out (which is understandable for the setup of this place). The drinks are pricey but very good. I was also extremely impressed with the smash burger and various apps, considering they are known exclusively for their specialty drinks. The biggest downside is that you can't try them all, especially with reservations limited to 2 hours! Only other critique - it is extremely hard to have a conversation here. I ordered the Dancing Sugar Plums, crispy Brussel sprouts and pimento and pretzels. The dancing sugar plum was tangy and sweet with just the right amount of acid. The cup was pretty too! The Brussels were delicious, the hot honey was not crazy spicy, I was a very nice muted kick. The pretzels were soft and the pimento cheese was fresh. The perfect little cozy bar during Christmas time. As soon as you step in you feel like your in a Christmas movie. I love the warm/inviting Christmas decor. The lighting is soft which offers a nice ambience. Last year we attempted to come and the wait was over 2 hours. This year there was virtually no wait on a Tuesday night around 10:30 pm. Had there been only 2-3 of us we would've been immediately seated. We did however have 5 people so unfortunately there was no space. Groups over 4 require a reservation. The host was very friendly and accommodating and suggested breaking up our group so we can atleast enjoy some drinks before closing. Be mindful that they do close at 12 am. We ended up splitting up in hopes of getting the larger table once the folks left but they never did. Part of why I removed a star was because in a highly desirable location like this there should be a time limit per party. Some people were just sitting around and barely ordering. We ended up standing together along a wall which I know is not allowed but the employees were kind and didn't ask us to separate. They have a really cute menu. All the drinks come in unique glasses. Our bartender helped us pick drinks and had them ready in a very reasonable time. I have to be honest and say none of us were super impressed with our drinks. I'm fine with the price considering the location but the flavors weren't very special or profound. I expect more from a $17 drink. We also missed the deadline for the kitchen so we didn't get to order food. Overall it's a very cute bar. Just be cognizant of the group size. read more

Finally got a chance to check out Miracle on Orange. We came as a walk in because it was less than 4 so we could not make a reservation. We came at about 7pm and we were placed on the waiting list & seated at about 9:15pm. The wait wasn't bad because they have bar set up outside while you wait & you can also order food while you wait as well. Once we were seated we started with drinks I ordered the hot buttered rum and my husband ordered the Jingle balls nog. They both were delicious, they tasted very similar except one was hot & the other cold. For our second order of drinks I ordered the Yippee Ki Yay Mother F***** & my husband ordered the Krampus. The Krampus was spicy and my drink was sweet and reminded me of a painkiller it was very good. The cocktails come in cute Christmas cups and some are available for sale. For food we ordered the sliders which come with 3 different sliders ( fried chicken, pulled pork, & smash burger), we also ordered curly fries & pimento cheese pretzels. The food was delicious. The customer service was great as always and they were very very busy al night. I'm glad we got a chance to check out this pop up. I'm writing an honest review based on a disappointing experience. We came here last Saturday the 13th at 8:00 p.m. with a party of three and were told there would be about an hour wait to be seated. While checking in, we noticed three barstool seats at a back table directly behind the host stand and asked if we could sit there. We were told no. We waited outside and grabbed drinks at the small bar while waiting. About 45 minutes later, we checked back in to make sure we were still on track to be seated soon. The same three seats behind the host stand were still empty, so we asked again if we could sit there and were told no for a second time. After exactly an hour, we were finally seated at those exact three barstool seats directly behind the host stand that had been empty the entire time!! We were told that a party of three couldn't sit there, which was confusing and frustrating since that's where we ended up anyway. Overall, the situation felt poorly managed and inconsistent. The wait was frustrating given the empty seating, and the service itself wasn't anything special once we were seated. Unfortunately, it wasn't a great experience. read more

I love this pop up bar concept at The Courtesy and was so excited to finally go! My friends and I made a reservation for a Friday night and were seated right away. I started with the Jingle Balls Nog which was delicious! However I wish it was in a more fun cup. Next I ordered the Rudolph's Replacement because it came in the dinosaur mug which was adorable. I liked it. It was unique with a coffee and chai flavor. My friends liked their drinks as well- they had the Koala Cooler, Marshmallows & Unicorns and The Krampus. We also ordered the Bar Swine Board. I asked for cucumbers because they didn't have gluten free chips and they up-charged for the cucumbers. It's the most wonderful time of the year.. To have a holiday themed cocktail! I knew I had to make my way to this pop up bar after seeing the countless posts/reels plastered all over Instagram & TikTok over the past couple weeks. It's not always achievable to successfully immerse yourself in what feels like a true Christmas atmosphere living in Florida, but this spot nailed the festive vibes and I've confirmed the hype is warranted. First and foremost, it's going to be a little bit of a mission to score entry here so you need to have a strategy when planning your visit unless you don't mind lengthy wait times. You can make reservations on their website for parties of 4+, but they go quick and they are only open for a short window. Instead, my party of 4 decided to show up this past Monday at 5:30 (30 mins before the bar opened) and we were able to walk in without any issue right at 6:00 (you'll most likely be given bar seating as a walk in or a table/booth in the bar area). On the weekend I'd suggest arriving as early as an hour before the bar opens. The decorations! Holiday spirit splattered everywhere. Lights galore, tons of festive gift boxes hanging from the ceiling, adorable seat covers and so many other thoughtful touches to be found in every direction you glance - even the bathroom is decked out in decorations for you to feast your eyes on. They did not miss a Christmas beat here! The cocktails, for the most part, were fantastic. I personally ordered two which were the Christmapolitan and the Christmas Cricket. My favorite was definitely the latter. If you're a mint fan (but it's not overpowering at all), I highly recommend this delicious concoction. The tequila, vanilla liquor and the minty amaro were perfectly balanced. The Christmapolitan was decent but paled in comparison to other cocktail. The curly fries taste just like Arby's (good thing!) and the brussel sprouts were super crispy and full of flavor. PS: the "nice" shots are oh-so yummy and go down smooth. Finally made it this year it it was totally worth it! We went on a weekday and arrived a little before opening because it's pretty hard to get reservations and it didn't take long at all. The staff was great and really friendly. We went with another couple so it made it convenient to be able to try some other drinks. Such a fun concept over at The Courtesy in Winter Park! Miracle on Orange is festive and fun! The cocktails in the super festive glasses add a little holiday spirit. And the "spirits" are super yummy. I'm not going to lie, it didn't matter what drink was in the dinosaur with the Santa hat, I was going to have it. We did try a few different ones and they were really all good. Now, DO expect a wait. We went early on Saturday and there was a 3 hour wait. Yep. 3 hours. And you have to be present when your name is called. But some people had left so we ended up getting in after an hour or so. The inside is decorated so nicely and it's festive with the holiday spirit alive and well. What a fun way to celebrate. Oh, and food!!! The roasted brussel sprout and potato dishes were spot on!! I saw this pop up on TikTok and I had to try it. A group of 4 of us went on a Friday night, we got there around 9 and it was a 2 hour wait. They did have a very spacious outdoor seating area and even an outside bar with a few drink options. While waiting we tried the eggnog, which was phenomenal but 80% of the cup was ice. The ambiance and decorations at the bar were so fun, it really was such a cute experience. I didn't love the Christmas Cricket, which our serve recommended, and could only take a few sips of it. Worth the wait! We came here for a girls' night and were told the wait would be an hour and a half. They had a small bar outside that served some of the drinks from inside. My gingerbread old fashioned was a nice mix on the traditional! After about an hour and a half we got a table. They had wait staff taking orders from your table which is nice to not have to fight the crowds at that crowded bar. Once inside I had the elfin around which was also delicious! I really wanted to like this experience, and at first I did. Love that Orlando got a fun and cozy Christmas bar and thought they did a great job decorating. I wasn't totally blown away by the chai drink I ordered and thought it needed a little more flavor. What really annoyed us (and baffled us) is that our server kept asking us to not spill anything on the menu. Like we were toddlers. I thought I misunderstood the first time she said it, but I was reading through the menu holding it in my hand and then placed it on the table, she picked it up and moved it and asked me not to get anything on the menu again and said they needed to keep them clean. We hadn't so much as even ordered a drink at this point, so it seemed really strange and uncalled for. It made us uncomfortable when she said it a third time. I have no idea who trains their staff to look after a paper menu over customer satisfaction unfortunately that's what happened here. read more

Walking into this beautifully decorated bar, we had high hopes for good drinks as well. While the atmosphere was fantastic and seasonal, the drinks fell short of expectations. Far short. Maybe they were designed for someone with a more sophisticated palette than I, but they were not enjoyable at all. I only finished my drink because of the price, which honestly isn't that far out of line with craft cocktails downtown. I personally felt the drinks were too complicated with all the spices and flavors that were added in and they could have been simplified and made more appealing to the masses. We watched several people come in and look at the menu and suddenly their excitement of the ambience was turned to perplexed with the offerings. We heard someone even say they weren't going to finish their drink after the first sip. These drinks were all served and very Christmassy cups and mugs which added to the cheer. they were all a little bit pricey as well which is fine because that's what you expect when you come to these little pop ups with fancy drinks. I got to say, the drinks were awful. Nothing I tasted was great. I don't have the hardest palate to please because I really like everything but besides the eggnog drinking was tasty I didn't like anything. The Santa Rex which were just passable I was disappointed. The Bad Santa was truly bad. It tasted like hit cough medicine. The nice shot was not a nice shot at all. The rum and peppermint tea and chocolate sounded good in theory but was just bad. I really understand the time and thought that goes into a crafted drink but they have to taste good too. I was well accompanied though, and the atmosphere lend it to a very nice time and wonderful pictures. I really do understand have specially crafted cocktails but at least have basic drinks that are holiday themed for people who just want to vibe. The place has great ambience but the drinks just aren't it. I would give 0 stars for the drinks/ shots and 5 for the ambience. The worst part is I saw groups of people walk out simply based off the fact the drinks where super sophisticated. I really do see this bar doing well in the NYC area but not Orlando.
