My partner lovingly ordered me a gluten free cake as a Valentine's Day gift from GF miracles. It was very beautifully done in the shape of a heart and decorated nicely. I was very excited about it, since baked goods that I don't have to make myself are a rare treat and I have a serious sweet tooth. Sadly it's presentation was where the fun ended. This was the DRIEST cake that I've ever had the misfortune of eating in my entire life. It left me wondering if it was made last week and stuck in the refrigerator until today. Have you ever heard the saying ... "If you don't have anything good to say ... Don't say anything at all!" They do have a dedicated gluten free kitchen and they are the only gluten free place in Lexington but they cannot yet make an exceptional pizza. The menu is nice but the food is not really worth the price yet. One hopes that they continue to improve as a restaurant and perhaps a few tweaks will make them shine. My go-to for a treat. It's a dedicated gluten-free cafe/bakery. The biscuits - wow! Only GF biscuit I've ever tasted that didn't taste like glue and want to break my teeth. Their biscuits are buttery and soft, with just the right amount of crumbly texture. They also sell them as a frozen item. Try the blueberry-stuffed brownies (they're huge and amazing) and cinnamon rolls. There is limited seating, but it's comfortable and homey. I can't speak for their pizza yet (mostly because I'm a pizza snob and afraid of disappointment in a good place), but they do make GF pizzas. read more

We went to Lexington to visit friends and I was worried about finding places that could accommodate my needs. As a Celiac, it is hard to find nice dining experiences in smaller towns. I am late posting this, but wanted to give "my 2 cents" after reading some of the other reviews. I've visited there twice now. And both of my visits have been great ! The owner sat down with my husband and I, and helped us better understand the "gluten free life" that was new to me. She discussed the types of flour, the xanthum gum, and other ingredients they use, to give the best possible gluten free, vegan, and paleo options they had to offer. My husband LOVES, LOVES the brownies ! And, I certainly a big fan of the paleo breads. Some of their options seemed a little dry, but FULL of flavor. A far cry from the bread and mixes sold in grocery stores ! I am also Diabetic, so I have, so far, resisted the sweet goodies they offer. And, prices are not unrealistic, considering the costs of gluten free options, in other places. We'll be returning soon, for more bread, which has "normalized" my life. read more

Bought 2 cookies, 1 muffin, 1 bottled water for $15's. Prices are too high, lady seemed annoyed when I ordered food. Most all their gluten free has dairy and eggs, which are an allergen, therefore, I can't eat here. I like to eat vegan, and they had like 1 or 2 vegan options and it was bland. Very pricey. I got a Panini sandwich. It came with nothing and was $9.95. It was about the size of my palm. The quality was good, but nothing special. I also noticed the loaves of bread were $10.95 which seems a bit over priced. Probably won't return as there are enough options at other restaurants that are GF. read more

I stopped by here today for the second time in a couple of months and was, once again, completely underwhelmed by the service. I am allergic to gluten/wheat, eggs and dairy, so I am mostly limited to their vegan items, though I still eat meat, so not really vegan at all. I asked for the ingredients of the muffins I was about to buy, and her response was... unfriendly at best. It was also completely uninformed-- I don't know who the woman was behind the counter (owner, manager, baker; I would expect all of those positions to know more about the nutritional information than she did), but she couldn't tell me anything about these muffins labeled "Vegan Carrot Cake *Pecans*" beyond the fact that they used a GF flour, it had pecans, and (she tapped on the Vegan label) this means it doesn't have eggs or dairy in it. She was incredibly condescending in her tone, and told me no more than I could have read off the label. The food has been good both times, I've tried a few vegan muffins and their vegan bread. But the attitude has been HORRIBLE, and the nutritional information very incomplete (except on the bread), and I would have really appreciated some info about sweetener in their baked goods. I'm sorry to give the place 3 stars, but they really need to work on their service. :( read more
