Pot roast. Generous portion, fresh vegetables, tender beef. Yummmm!

Absolutely adored my delicious lunch at this sweet little establishment. The two gentlemen working were attentive and friendly. The pot roast was divine. The ice tea tasted freshly brewed and was the ideal strength. The storefront is difficult to see from the road, but worth the hunt to find it. I can't wait to go back!

Rolled in with a crew of six while visiting Lexington, and wow... what a find. I went for the Big Blue Hot Brown (because, when in Kentucky), and my friends basically treated the menu like a sampler platter. Zero regrets. The biscuits and gravy? Fluffy little clouds holding up a thick, rich sausage gravy that didn't nuke your mouth with pepper like some spots do. Absolute perfection. And the coffee? Smooth, medium-full bodied, not bitter, not burnt, basically everything you wish your morning cup was. Pair that with a charming as hell owner who clearly cares, and you've got yourself a winning combo. I don't throw out 5 stars often, but this place earned it. Go here, eat everything, start your day happy.

If you are looking for GF biscuits- this is your place!! They have GF options several days during the week. I'm not sure what the biscuit daddies are doing differently- but these are the BEST gf biscuits we have had (we have tried a lot). Friendly service and we also got some sweet biscuits and the GF chicken and dumplings to try at home. We really appreciate you all having gf options, thank you!

So fans, It has been a minute since my last review but I only post when I have something to tell you and boy do I have something to tell you. I may be late to the party, because this establishment which was literally started and is even now ran by a two guys who love to eat - and one of them who is a great cook! Biscuit Daddies in downtown Lexington, Ky, delivered through Door Dash which is how I found them. Hubby ordered biscuits and gravy with a side of hash brown casserole. I chose the veggie omelette that comes with a side buscuit. Let me tell you, the veggie omelette is right up there with the top three omelettes I have ever had and I am an omelette officiant. And don't let the fact that it is veggie only deter you. You will find nothing lacking in this one. Delicious is the only way to describe it. And can I just say-- thank you, Biscuit Daddies for knowing that to be delicious, food needs seasoning and some fat. This one is a winner for sure. And do we need to talk about the hash brown casserole. No we don't but we will. As has been said by others-- order this. You won't be sorry. The plain biscuit was pretty good-- but I am particular about my biscuits as my mountain mama made the best ever. These are good but they are a bit too dense for my liking. If you appreciate thick crumb you will like these. The gravy has plenty of sausage and is of course creamy. It's not mama's but it is good. Biscuit Daddies! To try it is to love it. A bit pricy but for the flavor it is worth it. (30.00 plus for an omelette, half biscuits and gravy and a side of hash brown casserole on Door Dash that up charges as we know). Anyway-- if you are in the Lexington KY area and you haven't tried Biscuit Daddies - you need to. We have only scratched the surface of the menu so... check it out. You can thank me later.

From the moment you walk in you feel welcome. The atmosphere was nice, the decorations were classy, and the food was the best part!

Came here because I was craving a breakfast biscuit...left very satisfied! Iced latte was perfect and the food was so comforting! Cute little spot for dining in and the staff were very friendly!

    B&G

Legit the best B&G I've had in Lexington! Great food and even better people! B&G Big Blue Hot Brown Kentucky Hot Brown Biscut And unlike some of the brands in town they actually give you enough gravy! Ikyky This should be the top of your breakfast list (they're on door dash too!)

Biscuits aren't anything special. You can get better at any of the many other places in town, and not in such awful traffic.

That was a pleasant surprise. The ambiance is very casual and welcoming. We both wanted some coffee and have never been to the chocolate holler so we came here. I had the white blossom drink and my husband had the sleeping bear. Both of our drinks were pretty good. Wish more espresso was given without extra charge but that seems like most places these days. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the drinks were tasty. Would definitely come back here when craving unique chocolatey treats.

Oh hey there Chocolate Holler! I dig the new location :)…read more Located in Greyline Station, it was much easier to find parking here in the large lot behind the building versus the tiny lot at the previous location. It's been exactly one year since we last visited that old location, which has since closed. Though I have many years of memories tied to that one, I'm glad to see that business didn't close entirely. We were welcomed by a super-friendly and super-helpful barista who answered any of my "what is vegan?" questions. I ordered a Sipping Chocolate made with Davao, Philippines Dark Chocolate by Askinosie. Pinay-me was curious to taste chocolate by my people. It's delicious! https://bit.ly/3JHeBQL Hubby had the Brownie Batter Hot Chocolate. Also tasty! We actually came back five days later and had the Chocolate Chai. Yum! All of our drinks were made with oatmilk. Although this location is smaller than the OG location, it actually is very space-efficient with an abundant amount of tables and bar height seating. Also, a bit of outdoor seating and a few spots to sit around Greyline Station. They brought over remnants from the previous location such as board games and a collection of coffee sleeves with written messages on them.

Its chocolate/espresso mouse and vanilla, but the cake was dry and I couldn't taste any espresso or coffee flavor at all. I had a dirty chai latte and it was a lot sweeter than I expected granted I should have asked for it to be less sweet. The house coffee is on a little acidic side as well. Not the bitter chocolate notes of coffee. The many people are there to help but its a little chaotic ordering. I also think it would be helpful if they added signs or names for the individual cake slices, so customers know what they're choosing without having to ask. Overall, the experience didn't quite meet my expectations. Maybe I'll give it another try in the future, but this visit missed the mark for me.
