    Goat fry Biryani

We were going back to our home in NJ from Maine and passing through Marlborough, it was dinner time and we were craving Indian food after 5 days of having other cuisines. googled and found this - just 10 min detour it's huge, but at first glance looked empty... not sure what their arrangements are... though we got the table but waited for a period for 'acknowledge we were there-- server to come-- place the order -- food on the table - it was too much (50 minutes) and finishing the food - 5 minutes :D. we asked the server -hey can we have another naan - and he honestly replied- 'sir it will take 8-10 minutes - and we ditched the idea... only 2 servers were handling 8-10 tables. anyway We ordered Goat fry Biryani - good taste Natukodi Curry - good Mirchi nation SPL Ginger chicken - go for it. something unique that you don't get in other Indian restaurants, just a suggestion - make the layer crispy - it was all soggy when it reached our table The food (4/5) was really good except for service (1.5/5), pls work on it. Also, The prices on their menu are incorrect (on the website).

This was my first time trying out this establishment and I must say I was pleasantly surprised. The decor was average indian restaurant decor. Our waiter Narindra, was super friendly from the get-go and he didn't take long for us to order and bring us our food. We had ordered the following dishes: Tandoori roti, cheese Naan, ginger chicken, and paneer Tikka masala. I asked for my entrees to be medium spice and they were perfectly medium for my taste. The ginger chicken would have to be my favorite from everything that I had ordered. I think it would go best with an entree that has a sauce like we had ordered in my picture. This is because it is more of a dry dish but not dry like popcorn chicken or something. Overall, I would rate this whole experience a 5/5 and I would definitely return.

Butter chicken -delicious not too spicy but still a kick -chicken breast used -better than tikka masala -comes with rice TIKKA MASALA -chicken breast used -taste the onion, bell peppers -comes with rice Samoa big and not greasy Goat biriyani -too spicy for my liking Overall, I'll come back!

Ordered from here last night for delivery. They have a vegetarian section on their menu for both appetizers and entrees!!! There are SO MANY YUMMY options!!! It's nice to have a bit of variety instead of one vegetarian to app to order. We ordered the golkonda gobi 65. We also ordered the palak paneer, veggie dum biryani, garlic naan, and lassi. The gobi was AMAZING and frankly the best I've ever had. It's almost like a finger food, each cauliflower floret is covered in a fried and incredibly flavorful batter. You can literally pop those bad boys in your mouth even on the go: while driving, while shopping for black friday, or pouring your next drink. They're FANTASTIC. The palak paneer was tasty. It was very spicy and my white ass is going to complain that there's no place to select a desired spice level, they just assume for you. It wasn't unbearably spicy but did require some breaks to allow for my mouth to cool down. My lower GI tract wasn't particularly happy about it around 24 hours later. I'll spare you further details. Otherwise, it's a more pureed version, which is my preference. The paneer was plentiful. The vegetable dum biryani was seasoned well but was disappointing in terms of the "veggie" part. There were only a few diced carrots and a couple green beans. I wouldn't feel compelled to order this again, there are probably many better items to order from here. I wish I could tell you about the garlic naan but they didn't send it, so that was disappointing. This is the main reason for 3 stars, it's a bit of a problem to not be confident that you're going to actually receive what you ordered and paid for. The mango lassi was delicious. I finished it in probably 2 minutes. I highly recommend theirs. I'm really digging the incredible variety of vegetarian options here and look forward to trying more of their stuff...I just hope it all arrives..

Had delicious food while being in town. For my meal I had ginger chicken. It was in the appetizer section of the menu, but definitely filling and big enough for a meal. Flavors were wonderful. Bite sized pieces of deliciousness. Great amount of spice. I also ordered some garlic naan. Garlic flavors were delicious. One of my friends ordered old city chicken roast biryani. I had some to try and thought it was quite tasty. It came with rice and boneless chicken. My other friends ordered a different chicken biryani. I forgot which one. He did like it, but couldn't fully enjoy it as there were pieces of bone, both small and large in his chicken. This is not their fault, but simply his for not ordered a meal with boneless chicken. We were also giving two sauces. A white and a red. Not really sure what they were for. I dipped some naan in both, and some chicken in the white one. Both had good flavors. Good food, and good amount of spice if you need a spice kick.

We enjoyed our time here albeit with some communication issues during the ordering process. My favorites were the samosas, garlic naan, and veggie korma. Some of the other items seemed a little bit more salty than they should be like the butter chicken and the saag and lamb. But it was still a good time together.

Really good food! Got some spicy cauliflower as an appetizer, hakka noodles, naan, and chicken tikka masala. Overall, very impressed with the food. Service could have been better. I think they should indicate on the menu that dosa isn't available all day, because after my wife decided to get a dosa, she was told they can't make them when the place is busy. Maybe a smaller menu overall is just in order.

Pros: Tasty spicy Indian food! Space, They r expanding and opening up a new section soon Ample parking Cons: Service! Its bit of a drive for us, but if we are in a mood for good spicy Indian food, this is one of the go to places in Metrowest. Let's start with the main attraction ....FOOD! Mirchinator wings: Chicken wings marinated and cooked in indian spices. Can get spicy (even medium spicy version). Awesome appetizer, we love it! Goat sukha: Mutton chunks marinated in indian spices. Good appetizer. has some dry gravy, so goes well with naans too. Biryani Noodle: Indo-Chinese style noodles in choice of veg, scrambled egg, chicken. We tried the egg noodles which was really good. The scrambled egg is cooked with spices and is yummy. mango lassi: ok, nothing great masala chai/tea: terrible. Was steeped for too long, tasted bitter. They serve such good food, if they improve the service aspect they will earn my all 5 stars. Found the quality of their Service to be inadequate in each of our visits. Service issues: server not asking spice level for food ordered.one cannot enjoy the food if it gets too spicy. appetizers and main course gets served together or in immediate succession. The naans end up getting cold while one is still working through the appetizers. server uses hand held devices and when asked for check, they just mention the total amount and one is supposed to pay it. The bill gets generated after payment. This is awkward! One should be able to see the check prior to payment... which is the usual norm! Tips: dont order all food at once. Order appetizers first and once it's on the table, order the main course. Else they will bring appetizers n main course all together. Specifically mentioning this in the beginning didn't seem to help. make sure to mention the spice level required for each item ordered.they dont generally ask you for it. Their medium spicy is really spicy (I am used to eating indian food and this was a bit spicy/hot than usual). don't sit near the main door. The place lacks an entrance vestibule, so anyone opening the door will send a cold wave into the restaurant, so sitting a bit away from the door is more comfortable.

Mirchinator wings. These were our least favorite. They weren't bad, but pretty average- spicy hot wings.

Subpar food...Service was excellent. Would not return. Drinks are overpriced, small and didn't seem to have much liquor if any.

They were out of the rumali roti which is the wrap for the nizami roll and they were nice enough to mention that as I placed my order. I requested them to use the same roti as the other wraps. The samosa was tasty and a little spicy, spice is not something I typically see with samosa fillings here. The kathi rolls were also spicy, not to a level that we could not eat it but it definitely had us sniffling. Both rolls were flavorful, I would say the chicken kebab won over the paneer roll because the achari flavor of the paneer was a little salty. The only reason it's not 5 stars is the size of the wraps. As you can see, they were quite tiny. I expected them to be more like burrito style given the price but they were rather small. Flavor-wise, I'll say they're on point 5/5. Value for money, is harder to say more like a 3/5.

When we made a reservation, we were NOT told they have a large group service charge. Most of us were retirees who celebrated our friend's birthday. We are not going to restaurants in a large group very often, so clearly we did not know about that charge. More, when they brought me a bill (each of us paid separatedly), I carefully reviewed charges, added 20 percent and signed. I asked for a receipt. A waiter said his machine (many restaurants nowdays use a little device which makes that calculations) does not print it, and he has to print somewhere else. Soon he came back with the receipt, but I did not take another look, as I know what I signed. When I came home I found out a different amount (not what I originally agreed to sign). They added that LARGE GROUP CHARGE that was originally hidden. I called restaurant, and they said that this charge mentioned in their menu. But none of us saw it. As a courtesy, a waiter could mention to us that charge when we placed an order, or when we paid our bills, but he deliberately did not. All of us were very disappointed, as it turned out we paid 40 (!!!) percent tips (20 percent tips and 20 percent a large group charge). We are not against this large group charge, but we had to be notified in advance, so we could pay our tips accourdingly. It does not show these people professionalism.
