    Schezwan Egg Fried Rice

We stumbled upon this Indian restaurant in Northborough, and it might be one of the best culinary surprises we've had in a long time. If you love authentic South Indian flavors (or want to experience them done right), this place absolutely delivers. We started with the Idli--soft, fluffy, and served with warm sambar and two types of chutney. It was the perfect light beginning that instantly transported us to a traditional South Indian breakfast table. Next came the Ghee Dosa, Masala Dosa, and Rava Masala Dosa--each one crisped to perfection, golden, and full of flavor. The ghee dosa had that rich, buttery aroma; the masala dosa came with a flavorful, well-spiced potato filling; and the rava dosa, with its crispy edges and hint of crunch, was a textural dream. The accompanying chutneys and sambar were fresh and delicious--clearly made in-house. We decided to explore beyond dosas and ordered the Schezwan Egg Fried Rice--and wow! It was spicy, aromatic, and had just the right Indo-Chinese kick. The eggs were well-cooked and the rice had that perfect wok-tossed flavor with a Schezwan sauce that wasn't overpowering but had depth. The Veg Dum Biryani was another highlight. Served in a generous portion, it was fragrant, colorful, and packed with flavor. The rice was perfectly cooked, the vegetables tender, and it came with raita that complemented the spices beautifully. For dessert, we shared Gulab Jamun and Ras Malai. The gulab jamun was warm, soft, and soaked just right in rose-scented syrup--not overly sweet. The ras malai was chilled and creamy, with hints of saffron and cardamom. A perfect sweet ending. Service was fast, friendly, and attentive throughout. The staff clearly care about the food and the customer experience. The restaurant was clean, inviting, and had a nice blend of modern design with Indian cultural touches. If you're anywhere near Northborough and craving South Indian dishes or flavorful Indo-Chinese options, this place is a must-visit. Great portions, authentic taste, and unbeatable value. We're already planning our next visit--this time bringing friends and family!

Peppers Indian Cuisine opened a few weeks ago at Northborough Crossing, across the parking lot from Wegmans. This Indian restaurant offers full service dining, takeout, and delivery (third party apps). The dining room has dim lighting and seems like a nice place to have a sitdown dinner. After doing food shopping nearby, I was hungry and decided to order takeout dinner online through Toast (no fees) at Peppers Indian Cuisine. They were offering Christmas & New Year specials including holiday special combo dinners for 1-2 people, family meals and party packs. I also noticed other Indian restaurants in Metrowest were offering family meal deals too. I ordered the $23 special, which included an appetizer, biryani dish, dessert, and can of soda. I chose Manchurian Chicken, Vegetable Dum Biryani, Rasagulla, and Can of Diet Coke. My order was bagged and ready in about 15 minutes after ordering. There was enough food for 2 people to share. The Manchurian Chicken were breaded boneless chicken pieces coated in a sweet and very spicy sauce. The chicken was very chewy to eat. The Vegetable Dum Biryani had a mix of vegetables, red onion, soft basati rice with spices, good flavors. The Rasagulla had 4 soft dough balls in a clear sweet syrup. I definitely needed the Diet Coke to wash down the aftertaste of this big meal with leftovers. Overall, the food I ordered was pretty good.

They catered the Diwali event at Worcester Art Museum today. The food was cold. The naan and chicken was hard as a rock. Their idea of raita is salted yogurt. The price for a mango lassi was $5.99. The area they were serving in looked very messy too eventhough they had plenty of staff

The Thursday Fonda night and tiffin buffet is really good. Love the spread, which is not too excessive nor too little.

Good south Indian food, especially a large variety of the street food stuff is hard to find so I was hopeful and excited to try it. It absolutely did not disappoint. The menu was exactly what the name advertised, with extensive options for affordable south Indian street food dishes. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food came super quick. We got a few of the house sodas, a chaat sampler combo, and a lentil curry with fried bread. The fried potatoes were so perfectly spiced I asked for a few more to take home for the rest of my household. I'm sad we live 2 hours away, cause a friendly person picking up food told us they do a buffet on Thursday nights that I will have to come back for some time. If you're there not on Thursday definitely get the combos, great bang for buck for trying a bunch of stuff. All and all an excellent meal for a great price. I'll be back next time I pass through the area. Also, they are on Too Good to Go. Almost a dozen people came through as we were finishing up to pickup $5 grab bags from that. We just barely missed out on that.

My favorite food at paradise is chicken biryani, both chicken with bone and boneless always served hot and fresh . I tried goat biryani and goat sukha (entree), they are good too but my preference would be chicken over goat. We tried chicken family pack - serves 3-4 people comes along with chicken starter which is a great combo. Vegetarian- you may try palak paneer, paneer butter masala with garlic nan good combination. I would love to see paradise bring in some sort of loyalty program e.g, toast tab or any other discount program which may help more customers to enjoy paradise food.

When we made a reservation, we were NOT told they have a large group service charge. Most of us were retirees who celebrated our friend's birthday. We are not going to restaurants in a large group very often, so clearly we did not know about that charge. More, when they brought me a bill (each of us paid separatedly), I carefully reviewed charges, added 20 percent and signed. I asked for a receipt. A waiter said his machine (many restaurants nowdays use a little device which makes that calculations) does not print it, and he has to print somewhere else. Soon he came back with the receipt, but I did not take another look, as I know what I signed. When I came home I found out a different amount (not what I originally agreed to sign). They added that LARGE GROUP CHARGE that was originally hidden. I called restaurant, and they said that this charge mentioned in their menu. But none of us saw it. As a courtesy, a waiter could mention to us that charge when we placed an order, or when we paid our bills, but he deliberately did not. All of us were very disappointed, as it turned out we paid 40 (!!!) percent tips (20 percent tips and 20 percent a large group charge). We are not against this large group charge, but we had to be notified in advance, so we could pay our tips accourdingly. It does not show these people professionalism.
