Went here tonight with the hubs. Food was great, we got Butter Chicken, Palak Paneer and naan. The food was 10/10 Service was 3/10 They were nice, but...... 1. We had to ask to order (15 min after arrival) 2. Nobody came by to check on us during meal. 3. Finished our meal, sat there waiting for 20 more minutes for our check (had to ask for, again). 4. I'm not one to complain but there were maybe 7-8 tables of patrons, 4-5 waitstaff and many customers had to request a menu, ready to order or check at the end. Very rude people, It was very dirty. I would like to add I am really trying to find a decent Indian restaurant just to try the food but everyone I go to the people are rude and the bathrooms or something is gross. Friendly and prompt service. Entrees come with rice, which is great for the price point. , we ordered the chicken tikki masala at mild spice and my 11 year old loved it. One of the house specialty chicken curries was delicious but a little too spicy for me even at regular heat. The waitress topped the mango lassi with a chocolate drizzle which delighted my daughter. I ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala and Garlic naan. When I opened the container of chicken tikka masala up, the fats had separated from the oils and the sauce looked curdled. I had seen another review with the same problem as mine. I ended up just mixing it up and eating it because I had spent around $30 for those two things and was hungry. So we made it a point to come again and this time we did A la carte. We tried following: Karampodi Gobi - 5/5 Kothimeera Kodi -5/5 Bhagara Bhaingan - 5/5 Malai Kofta -4/5 Garlic Nan - 5/5 All of the dishes were very really tasty, we asked to make Malai kofta not too sweet and it was made exactly how we asked for. Bhagara Bhaingan to our surprise felt like homemade and was delicious. Both starters were on point and quantity was good to share amongst 3. Such a fantastic buffet filled with all sorts of delicious options both vegetarian and non vegetarian. I totally recommend the buffet which is a fabulous weekday lunch buffet for only 11.99. I've eaten at Peppers a number of times and have really enjoyed the food but I had to leave a critical review due to a very bad experience. I dropped by Peppers for dinner. It was quite busy and I was alone. I requested a table and the host acknowledged me. I stepped aside and waited to be seated. Ten minutes passed and another host approached me and i again asked for a table. Another employee then approached me after another 5 minutes. During this time I counted about 20 people come in, mostly families, who were seated almost immediately after tables opened. I understand that a family of 4+ are more valuable to the restaurant than a single diner so I didn't put up a fuss at first. After a fourth employee approached me and I was not seated as more families arrived I just left. I was so disappointed as I was a loyal customer, but apparently not valued. read more
