Found this shop when my old threading place closed down and I've been happy with the results ever since. I've tried different places, nail salons, other threading shops but somehow they always end up making my eyebrows uneven or too thin. I travel to get to MIS, because I like the quality and convenience. There are no lines, no gossip, just quiet and quick service. MIS also gives a rewards punch card which is pretty neat, and the staff was nice and friendly. The atmosphere is cute and colorful, very clean and professional. I went in to get my eyebrows threaded. The lady who helped me was nice and did my eyebrows right away but it wasn't the best service. My eyebrows still had unwanted hair in obvious places when she was done. She didn't ask me what I wanted she just started threading. She also didn't wash her hands or clean my eyebrows before starting. It was one of the cheaper places to get eyebrows threaded. I came here because of all the rave reviews and the reasonable price but was really disappointed. Honestly, the threading experience was painful. Bhabani was not quick enough when pulling the thread and I could feel individual hairs being pulled out. A few times she didn't pull the thread hard enough and it got stuck which was also painful. I have been getting my brows threaded for years so I know how quick and painless it can be when done right. Just came home from getting my eyebrows threaded by Bhabami and I feel like a brand new person! Lol She transformed my bushy and non directional eyebrows into finely formed and well cleaned brows. I came in around 2pm and I was the only one there at the time so she was able to take her time and go back and forth to make sure that my eyebrows were perfectly done. She was meticulous and careful and not rushing, all the things I look for when it comes to getting any kind of facial service including eyebrow threading. Just keep in mind she's off on Wednesdays. Amazing price for great service! They also give you a punch card wherein you get your 10th for free! Quick and very friendly service, I can usually get in and out in less than 10 minutes on my lunch break. I am very happy with the price and value and Bhabambi (not sure if I'm spelling that right) always does a great job on my brows, she is legit and always greets you with a smile. There is a slight language barrier so don't expect to make very much small talk, but that doesn't bother me at all. It took me a little while to catch on to the correct way I need to hold my skin taut so she can get the underside of the brow but after a few visits I finally figured it out. This is the only place I've ever had my brows threaded and I will definitely keep coming back. I highly recommend!! I have been going here for a few years to get my eyebrows threaded. They do a good job for an affordable price. When I went to pay by card during my most recent visit the lady who threaded my eyebrows did not give me the machine and put in her choice of tip (50%), on top of the 50 cents that you have to pay to use a card. I ended up paying it because it wasn't worth the argument, but I caution everyone to look at their receipts if they are paying by card/ ask for the machine/ pay with cash. read more
