I ordered the nacho's supreme and a butterscotch shake. When I started eating the nacho's they were ice cold and cloggy. The shake was vanilla and although it tasted okay it was not what I ordered. I tried to get the servers attention but she was too busy talking to a friend to even notice. Overall, the experience was a disappointment considering it was supposed to be a special day celebrating their anniversary. I am a foodie and will promote a good restaurant with positive comments. But, this place does not deserve any recommendation. We left hungry and very disappointed. read more

Best quick bite and ice cream shop in Evart. As soon as you drive in an attendant is on their way to offer menus and take orders. Came here twice in less than 24 hours. It is well lit at night. This place has Limited parking, but there was always a place to park when I visited. It felt like less than 5 minutes to get your order delivered to your car. The Sea Monster was the best ice cream I've tasted in a while. Highly recommend this special spot. read more

Hey hey hey! I'm back again, this time with a review of an awesome northern Michigan drive-in! As I was exploring northern michigan I developed a strong hankerin' for a cheeseburger, so of course I checked Yelp to see what was around. When Mishler's popped up I knew I'd found my mark. I had to go a bit out of my way, but when driving around this area at this time of year that just means more chances to scoop up a couple pounds of fresh Michigan cherries! I love having a sack of them to pop as I explore orchard country! They're like driving candy!! But, I digress... When I pulled in and parked, the carhop, who, I might add, was surprisingly beautiful came straight over to collect my order. I opted for a double cheeseburger and the fried cheesecurds. The cheeseburger arrived prepared exactly as I'd requested, no mistakes. It was juicy, fresh, and delicious, and exactly what I was hoping for. The curds, though a much smaller portion than I expected, were good. A nice bonus was the marinara they came with, which made me wonder how different these could be from regular bar-style mozzerella sticks..but, good enough anyway. The odds are very good that I'll go back to Mishler's on my next trip north, and I think you should go too! I ate here while visiting the area, driving by I noticed this cool looking dairy bar drive-inn. They have carhops that come to your car to get your order, it is basically an eat in your car restaurant. They have 6-8 picnic tables so if the weather permits you can dine at them if they are available. The service was good and we got our food quickly. The food was average but I thought it was a little pricey for the serving size. They do not take credit cards, it is a cash only business. read more

I heard great things about the chili, burgers, and raspberry truffle, so I made my husband take me. After three weeks of asking, he finally drove 40 minutes so I could try the food. Maybe it was the anticipation, maybe it was the drive to get there, but I was definitely underwhelmed. We had the double cheeseburger (me), the turkey wrap (my 11-year-old), chili cheese fries (shared), and root beer (shared). We also got the raspberry truffle for dessert. The burger was good, not great. My daughter liked her wrap. The chili cheese fries lacked flavor; same with the root beer (not enough sassafras for our liking). I love Mishler's. Only get to visit them during one week a year but eagerly anticipate that week.
