It was a bit tricky to find at first since the restaurant is on the second floor, but if you take the left-side drive, you'll get there easily. Food highlights: Tom Yum Soup: Really good, mild spice level which made it enjoyable. Kani Salad: Absolutely awesome. Crab Rangoon: Yummy and crispy. Shrimp Roll: Wow -- very fresh and tasty. Misimi Roll (Tuna & Avocado): Delicious and well balanced. Drunken Noodles: Flavorful and satisfying. Desserts: Yuzu Cheesecake: Light, citrusy, and refreshing. Decided to try a new hibachi place in the area and was very impressed! The inside is really nice and the vibe was cool. The bar area was big and nice looking and the hibachi tables area felt personable and intimate. We were sat quickly with a reservation, drinks and orders were taken immediately and the chef showed up in a timely fashion. Overall, the food in my opinion was really good! I like that the meals come with both fried rice and noodles. Some people I was with felt their food was a little overdone, but that was not my experience. Chef was a little low energy, but it was the end of the night and I can't imagine I'd have that much energy either. I could definitely see this being my new go-to hibachi spot! read more

We got there about 7:15 on a Saturday night and had to wait about 10-15 minutes for a table which was reasonable enough. Service was fair, not awful, not great. We got a mix of different sushi rolls. The eel avocado wasn't great. Couldn't taste the eel and the avocado was a little under ripe. Shrimp and sweet potato tempuras were decent but pretty standard. Sexy Jalapeño with crab wasn't really sushi, but was excellent. I was worried for my stomach when it came out, but wasn't nearly as spicy as I was expecting it might be. Delicious night out with friends at Misimi. The amount of food for the price is insane! And everything is delicious! My friend and I started at the beautifully decorated bar while we waited for the rest of our party and the bartender was nice and made a great drink! After we headed to our table for the standard hibachi experience. We also ordered some tasty garlic edamame and some yummy sushi rolls to share (definitely not needed but worth every bite!) For the hibachi I ordered the Salmon and chicken, both of which were yummy. I'm excited for my leftovers too! Our chef was kind and super fun, sure to give attention to everyone at the table. My only two criticisms would be the hostess that brought us to our table literally ran ahead of us as we went. I can't believe I live so close and never knew about Misimi until recently! This hidden gem is tucked in the back of a bigger plaza on a pretty main road. We will definitely be becoming regulars here! With so many Asian fusion options on the menu, there's always something different to try. The homemade crab Rangoon and Duck Bao bun specials were definitely stand outs. We have high expectations when it comes to bao buns, and they passed our test with being fresh and fluffy! Not only were we impressed by the food, but the ambiance was beautiful here too. It's one of the nicest spots to go for hibachi in the area I would say! We also had a fantastic server who went out of her way to recommend the garlic aioli for dipping with our bao bun, and it was a game changer. Great deals for lunch and happy hour as well. My family stayed at a nearby hotel en route to our annual beach trip. We found this place on Yelp and decided to give it a try with three young kids in tow. The customer service was absolutely superb. Our server Allison quickly took our orders as soon as we sat down. Given we were pushing bedtime, we wanted a quick meal and Misimi delivered. Within a few minutes, drinks were brought to the table, followed by an edamame appetizer for the kids, and shortly came everything else. We were extremely pleased with the speed and accuracy of the service. The food was also well prepared, well seasoned, and had beautiful presentations. The miso soup was so flavorful that my kids ended up taking it from me. The sushi and sashimi combo had a solid number of pieces for the price. The nigiri included in the combo was unexpected but appreciated since I personally prefer nigiri over sashimi. Overall, Misimi looks like a fantastic place for a dinner event with friends and family or a date night. For this family's quick drive through town, it was ideal for its lightning quick service. I absolutely hated it. It took forever for everything, and it wasn't even busy. The food was not that great, just a bunch of soy sauce. I ordered a tuna steak, and it was grossly overcooked. I recently came here for an early dinner and was quite impressed. The decor was very nice and the cleanliness was excellent. The menu was pretty extensive so I struggled with picking an entree and a starter. Eventually I decided to go with the Malaysian Coconut Soup and the General Tao's Chicken. The soup was very delicious, I loved the mushrooms and coconut gel cubes. The General Tao's Chicken was the fanciest and freshest I've ever had, and the spiciness was just right. This is the best restaurant in the area for sushi and other varieties of Asian fusion dishes (and drinks!). If you can make it during their happy hour period in the bar area, even better. The happy hour menu offers a lot, and the food and drinks always come out quick, fresh, and delicious. Highly recommend the crab rangoon and Kani salad for apps before moving on to the fresh sushi rolls. And the pineapple shrimp fried rice is the best I've had. Plus their pad Thai and drunken noodle dishes are always cooked to perfection. And they don't skimp on portions either. I am not exaggerating when I say every time we've gone here, they always hit with the food and drinks. We came here because my friend was craving soup and they had the most extensive soup menu we could find in the area ranging from a simple miso to a roast duck noodle soup and a few more in between. She got the latter and it was amazing! I got the wok fried udon and it was delicious!! The noodle had a very comforting chewy texture and the beef was super soft. The vegetables were sliced like noodles so as not to be obstructive and the mushrooms ( not sure what they were) also had a really nice texture. Quite a delight to eat! A few of my friends got sushi plates and the fish to rice is all you could hope for. Fish was also great quality and fresh and interesting variety. Also appreciated the decor, there were a few huge fake trees set up and around and dividers between the hibachi tables but you could still see the performances and fire. sushi is very good and so is the staff, especially the owner who cares and walks around and greets everyone. The hibachi is delicious especially the hibachi rice. All 4 of us were happy. I am giving 3 stars because of the billing. My boyfriend ordered salmon sashimi, scallop sashimi, mackerel sashimi, tuna roll, salmon roll, yellowtail jalapeno roll, and white tuna mango roll. Came out to around $54, not bad for 7 rolls and 3 orders of sashimi! The pickup process was super easy and I loved the reusable bag they gave us! The rolls were absolutely delicious. Alright, I know I said I probably wouldn't be back, but I went back. Well, sort of. I was tired and wasn't in the mood to sit somewhere loud and busy so I just ordered from Uber eats, even though I was only right across the street. I was really craving sushi and remembered how delicious it looked from this place. Going back and forth in my head for a while about whether or not I should give this place another chance, I decided to. This time I got the crab Rangoon and the avocado salad along with a Philadelphia roll and an a sweet potato roll. The Crab Rangoon was pretty good. Had a very good flavor and was a little more savory compared to some I've had in the past that were more on the sweet side. The dipping sauce had a nice kick to it as well. Avocado salad was also really good, definitely enjoyed the dressing and it had tons of avocado on it. The thing I will say about that though, they didn't include a fork (to be fair, I'm not sure if I checked the box on my order to include silverware or not) so I had to eat it with chopsticks which is a bit of a problem when you're as inept as I am when it comes to chopsticks. I'm lucky if I can hold a piece of sushi with them. Sweet potato roll was delicious and the filling had a nice crisp. The Philadelphia roll was also really good but in my opinion, the salmon kind of got lost with the cucumber and cream cheese. For the last few pieces I ate, I took the salmon out and ate it on its own and it was really really delicious. I just don't think there was enough of it in the roll. Overall, I do think this place redeemed itself a bit. Obviously can't speak to the sit down service improving or not, but another time when I'm more in the mood, I just may give it another try. read more

I really owe it to the hero that delivered my lunch today. I ordered through grubhub and did the pickup option because my hotel is across the street, not realizing that it was pouring and I didnt have a rental. I called and (i wish i got the name) but this gentleman answered the phone and didnt hesitate and delivered the food to my hotel.
