Service is always great when I go and it's become a regular. They have a wide variety of of food and the ambiance is chill.

Been a while since my friend and I ate here, so we decided to get dinner. This place makes some of the most consistently good Asian food in the area. They do a little bit of everything but manage to do it all excellently. Friendly staff and a nice amount of seating for small and big gatherings. Their General Tso's tofu was very well done. Great sauce and quality tofu. There aren't many vegetables, but the generous portion of tofu more than makes up for it. The curry veggie wontons are a must try for Indian food lovers; crispy with expertly spiced curry veggies inside, along with dipping sauce that is a perfect complement. The steamed veggie dumplings are not the generic ones most places give you, they are made in house and very tasty, especially with the fantastic dipping sauce that comes with it. The place never seems that crowded, but they've been there forever because their food is always satisfying. If you're into Asian cuisine, you need to give this place a try. read more

I am still sticker shocked after tonight's visit to this well-established restaurant. The food was the usual yummy dinner, but the price was outrageous! I dine out often and had not previously felt such a sharp sting in pricing. I had a quart of wonton soup ($5.95) packed in a typical plastic container. I also had a quart of pork fried rice which came in a smaller sized 'to go' container, typical of 'to go' boxes at this restaurant. The rice was $11.95 and when I questioned it, I was told costs have gone up which is not the answer I was expecting! This is just to advise patrons in advance in the event their budget is as tight as that of many in Fairfield County. read more

Some things never change, and in this case, I'd say that's an overall good thing. I've been coming here since I was a kid, when they were known as "Twin Lions," and it's still a staple when I come back to visit family. They've updated the menu a bit to include more vegan options, like my favorite, the Mah La Delight Veggie Tofu, which has a rich umami flavor and well-seasoned heat, though it's not nearly as spicy as the server warns. Yes, the interior looks like it's straight out of the 90's, and I wouldn't have it any other way. It's comforting and nostalgic, just the like food. read more

Very expensive, food is take-out quality and establishment is dated. I read a review about cleanliness and did a little digging, sure enough multiple health code violations on record with the town of Fairfield's health department. For the price just go to something a little more upscale. read more

Quiet sushi restaurant located off main area in Fairfield. Seemed a bit run down inside and outside of the restaurant. The ceiling tiles were dirty and the restaurant was very dark and felt a bit dirty. Definitely in need of some tender love and care - when you enter the restaurant you walk into a bar area that is a bit run down from use for take out. My son and I were greeted and quickly sat for dinner. The staff was very nice and attentive. The sushi dishes we had were very fresh and didn't take very long to get to the table. We do both take-out and dine-in at LC Chens. Standard chinese food fare. Some of our favorites are Sichuan Raviolis (an app but really could be a meal if you're not sharing), Steamed Pork Dumplings (also a meal on its own), General Tsos Tofu, Mongolian Beef, and Pad Thai. A caveat here, though, is the quality can be inconsistent, I feel like different chefs have their own interpretations of the dishes (like sometimes corn shows up in the Ma Po Tofu, or brown sauces taste sweeter) so sometimes what we order isn't exactly what we expect. We also get sushi here, to us it seems the quality has gotten better over the years. So our most current Perfect Date Night here consisted of a Mai Tai, Miso Soup, and a selection of sushi rolls & Signature Rolls. The atmosphere here is low-key and unpretentious. Not a high-class joint, but still a very pleasant place to eat out. read more

Food is a average at best. although the Sushi is really good. the other entrees tends to be either bland or way salty. avoid the fried rice as it's quite greasy stick with Sushi and you wil be very happy . Ordered lc Chen's specifically for the curry chicken soup, which is amazing. They brought me the wrong soup and refused to do anything but argue, which I was not up for. Only solution they had was to buy another soup...all the food is great, but probably wouldn't go back because of the customer service being a negative 10. read more

LC Chen's? I have to admit I thought it was a 'bootleg' PF Chang's... until I visited their website, and decided to give it a try. Like the website states don't let the exterior fool you, the interior is on a whole other level. LC Chen's got a great menu to choose from, and the neat thing is that their prices are online. This is a must -in my opinion- whenever you put your menu on the world wide web. I really don't like it if they have the menu, but no prices. We had the shrimp tempura roll and the shrimp/avocado roll, the walnut shrimp & chicken, shrimp teriyaki, chicken stir fried udon, wonton soup, spring roll, egg roll and the sesame shrimp, all of good taste. What can I say ... this is always our go to for Chinese food. We have been ordering out from LC Chen's for 6 years and their food is always hot ( when it should be) and fresh. The service is fast and customer service ... great. Location is easy to get to and it has lots of easy parking. What more could you ask for. One star is for refunded money for horrible food! Most horrible experience in a while. Fried rice drenched in oil, spare ribs stank of old grease. Shrimp extremely questionable. Came here for the first time this week. I liked the decor and the staff was welcoming and friendly, but the food didn't blow me away. I started with the spring rolls. The sauce was good, but the filling seemed to mainly be warm lettuce. After eating one, I started taking out the lettuce and just dipping the wrapper in the sauce. My entree was what surprised me most. I ordered the coconut chicken curry. Spoiler alert, this dish comes with pineapple, onions and eggplant. Now, this is my own personal preference, but I greatly dislike pineapple and was so disappointed to see it in my dish unexpectedly. I know I could have asked about the ingredients prior to ordering, but I also think this should have been mentioned on the menu. For the price, this dish provides more than enough food. I could have had two additional meals, but I choose not to take anything home. My BF had the noodles with shrimp. This dish was also a generous portion and he liked it but it had quite a kick to it. We both enjoyed a bottle of the house Pinot Grigio and then went elsewhere to grab dessert. While I gave three stars, for what you get (once you know the ingredients) it's a good value. read more
