I thank my childhood friend for letting me know about this place in Jackson Heights, NY! I am a caramel skin tone Dominican woman with some strong thick hairy genes (thanks dad lol). I was very self conscious about my chin and neck. The more I kept plugging those hairs... 2 days later they were back. There were some days I forgot to plug them and I've had my nephew and stepdaughter touching my face, especially the chin area (idk why kids like that) and have asked me " why is it rough?", "what's that?", "why this?" and I had to like lie is pimples or something. If you're thinking about getting laser hair treatment, please do it!! I was born a lot hairier than the average. All my life it's been a constant struggle with painful razor bumps, ingrown hairs and strategically planning when to shave. Not only did my hair grow back extremely fast, I also had very large pores. I decided to take a leap of faith and bought a package for everything below my navel line. This location is chic and clean. After 6 sessions, the hair was about 75% gone and grows back A LOT slower and thinner than before. Since my pores were huge and my hair grew back really fast, I won't lie, it hurt more than the average person. However, Eliza (She's lovely) makes the process so much better. She is patient, genuine, knowledgeable, nonjudgemental, and she looks out for you. She made sure I was fine every step of the way and made me feel very comfortable through the entire process. There's no one I would have chosen over Eliza. My legs are now smoother than they have ever been, my inner thighs have lightened up tremendously after years of razor abuse, and my self esteem has gone up. My last session was 9 months ago and my hairs are slowly starting to grow back. This is normal given maintenance appointments are recommended every 6 months. This has been my second session at Miss Laser and I can honestly say I am so so happy with my results. I want to start off by saying that I have been considering laser hair removal for a long time. I had A lot of doubt when it came to pricing and actually picking the right place to start my laser journey. The first thing that you will notice in their facility is the cleanliness and professionalism. I had so many questions and they were so informative and knowledgeable on what they are doing. I also want to add to the post by saying that laser is not an overnight progress, you do need a couple of sessions to see real results. And every body is different, we all have different hair pores so just because I might need 6 sessions maybe someone else might need 10. Best decision I ever made and worth every single penny. As a woman in her 20s I've embarrassingly dealt with PCOS facial hair and finally decided I needed to take care of this for good. Since it's my face I did a ton of research to find the perfect place and I'm soooo glad I found this place. Everyone is super kind, amazing, and the laser works incredibly well! The laser comes with this cool blast of air so it literally feels like nothing. I had some redness after my first treatment like I was out in the sun a little too long or like I had just taken a hot shower. However, since then I have no redness or pain at all and my hair growth is drastically reduced and basically gone! The laser also seriously helps reduce the size of pores. My skin is baby smooth and I have practically no pores and hardly any blackheads at all. So many amazing positives with their laser. The progress photos are from after 12 sessions. I have always wanted to get my brazillian and underarms done because the hassle of shaving doesn't work for my busy life. So I am so pleased. I had not been to this location since 2017, so returning during this pandemic was a little unsettling for me until I arrived at the Jackson Heights location. Beforehand when I scheduled my appointment I was assured by staff that I would be taken on time and that the facility would not be crowded. Well kudos to them. All staff had on mask, the room was disinfected and sterilized as I completed and updated my paper work. All of my questions were answered. I was able to review each package and each package was explained to me in detail. What really impressed me the most was the fact that the staff did not try to press upon me the most expensive plan I was given options and allowed to choose what would work best for me I'm happy with the service. Ladies pay attention if you guys need a laser spot where you can see real result, you must go to Miss Laser I try laser a year or two ago ( in a different laser place) I was doing my face and under arms and I did six sections and the result were nothing compared to my first section at Miss Laser amazing just with my first section my face and under arms looks better than one year of treatment in my other laser spot, and let me tell you to be Dominican with black hair and dark caramel skin you ladies knows how hard it can be to see result with shaving, waxing etc. But with Miss Laser is like a dream come true. So I tried laser hair removal a little over a year ago, and was extremely dissatisfied with the results. It was extremely painful and I didnt get any where near the results I wanted. I had a free consultation to try it out for the first time and it went great! I did paper work and went into a room right after. The people were really nice there I think the girl's name was Diana who did my under arms. She was super nice and told me what was going to happen and the whole procedure she made me feel comfortable with everything since it was my first time doing this. I did my underarms and def noticed a difference just after the first session. The whole process is explained to you from the beginning. The staff is very friendly, Michelle is great! I felt comfortable, and every session goes by quickly. I went about every month and half for my sessions. I actually just did a spray tan session here, and I loved it. My tan looks very natural!! Excellent staff-so kind and informative. I received my first laser hair removal treatment with them on my underarms and it was relatively painless and the entire session only lasted 2 minutes!
