I added on a new service, my upper lip (because why be hairless everywhere else and still have a mustache?!) and the woman walked me through what it would feel like and even did a test on my neck before we began- I appreciated that. She was thorough and took her time making sure to get every spot. I already booked my next appointment and I can't wait to come back! She then yelled at me when I suggested I should receive some sort of compensation for the severe inconvenience, told me I was out of luck because I already paid for the service and then hung up on me. Every single laseraway employee I've ever met has told me they are looking for a new job and hate working there and clearly it's managers like yona driving away good employees and customers. I'm shocked she still has a job with customer service/managerial "skills" like I saw tonight, but hopefully she enjoyed getting off early tonight on June 23 2026. Avoid and take your business elsewhere unless you want your appt cancelled without notice 5 minutes before so the manager can tell you she doesn't care because you already paid for the appt, hang up on you and then leave early.

I am so pleased with my results from Gentle Touch. I have used electrologists before and they were not nearly as effective as Gentle Touch. My technician, Daniela was so precise and so gentle that I have very little redness or irritation after my treatments. Unfortunately, my experience with the owner, Adela, has been extremely disappointing. Over time, I noticed my hair growth was actually getting worse compared to when I used to shave. When I brought this up, instead of addressing the concern or trying to fix the issue, I was told it was my fault for not being consistent enough--and was immediately encouraged to purchase yet another package. I agreed at the time because Taina was still working there and I trusted her. However, she later left, and I was not informed ahead of time. After that, I continued treatments with Vanessa and repeatedly requested my treatment file to understand what settings were being used, since the results clearly weren't effective--especially after I had just spent another $1,400. Despite being told multiple times that my file would be sent, I didn't receive it until April 19--only after my services were abruptly canceled. I was told this was due to "profanity" and being "aggressive," which I find incredibly unfair given the situation. After years of loyalty, significant financial investment, and lack of results, frustration is a natural response. What's most disappointing is the lack of accountability and transparency. Instead of working with long-term clients to resolve concerns, the focus seems to be on selling more packages rather than delivering results. I would not recommend this place based on my experience.

What did she do? - Left 2 inches of obvious growth/roots - When I asked her to go closer, she gave me a BLEACH BASELIFT around my ENTIRE hairline - All my baby hair - the delicate, sensitive hair around my face - is fried - She basically painted my hairline with bleach When I calmly tried to discuss what happened, she started CRYING and playing victim. The building/salon owner never even looked at my damaged hair and got involved in the incident which was didn't even make sense. She was late to our first appointment, forgot our entire consultation, and her eyes were glazed over. She blamed "allergies." This woman is a MESS! She offered to refund me but I had to ask THREE TIMES for her to finally do it. I asked her to work with me through this process, offer some conditioning treatments, because I wanted her to go through the two year pain of seeing what she did, but she refused to give me a plan. I am now dealing with severe hair damage that will take years to fix. This is not just a bad haircut - this is a licensed professional who showed up not right and destroyed my hair. DO NOT GO HERE.
