Had a great time with my sons fishing the bay! Not a lot of catches, but the crew was very helpful and friendly. They helped by prepping the lines, made sure to keep our bait fresh, and showed my kids how to properly and safely handle the lines. When we weren't catching much, they switched spots several times, and tried to keep it interesting for my kids. For instance, when another passenger caught a pufferfish, they let my kids hold it, talked about it, and let my youngest son release it- also showed them how to safely handle a crab and how to put it to sleep- and even put a fake catch on my youngest son's line at one point to give him some action and some laughs! We caught three flounders, but also enjoyed our time on the water, getting to see some other wildlife, like an osprey at its nest and some baby gulls. Not a lot of time traveling to and from fishing spots, so we spent most of the time actually fishing, and the water is mostly calm in the bay so low chance of getting seasick- no one on our trip got sick- which was one of my major concerns taking children out on the water. I'd definitely recommend Miss Ocean City- it's a little further than some other rentals (located in West Ocean City), but has plenty of parking available, very reasonable prices, lots of room on board, and a great crew! read more

We took a morning charter on Miss Ocean City and had a blast! The crew was amazing and incredibly helpful... friendly guys who told us all about where we were. The boat itself was clean and there's a bathroom on board that was spotless. We caught flounder and if we needed any assistance, one of the mates was right there and ready to lend a hand or take a picture of your catch. If you're worried about getting seasick, the bay is fairly calm and there's not a whole lot of rocking... granted it was a great day to be out, but worth mentioning nonetheless. The bait is included, and we rented rods for 5 dollars cash each. Bring a little extra cash to tip the crew, they will earn it. This charter is a great value and we will be back! Our family of 4 went on the 3 hour fishing tour. We had a great time even though the weather didn't cooperate. Big storms rolled in halfway through the trip and the fish bite disappeared. We did catch some small sea bass and a few small flounder. Unfortunately you can't control nature, even though some of the negative reviews that I read prior to booking this trip seem to insinuate. The crew of this boat is fantastic they can't do enough to make your experience a great one. We saw ospreys, some dolphins swam right next to the boat, and lots of other cool stuff that can only be seen from the waters of ocean city. These guys were great...took my family out this weekend fishing for first time...and everyone had a blast. They were much more safety cautious then other boats we saw go out that were crammed with people...not caring about minimizing exposure...Miss OC fishing kept number to a minimum while still taking us to multiple locations to fish. They were much more reasonably priced than other places we looked in to. We will definitely look to book with them again when we are down. After a lifetime of visiting Ocean City, we decided to try something different. We found this adventure and WOW... we will be back! My husband and I had a great time on the Miss OC and can't wait to go again the weather was perfect they had perdicted thunder showers and just as we were getting into the dock we heard our first roll of thunder.The fishing wasn't good but as they say they call it fishing not catching .We got to see dolphins the wild ponies and lots of different water fowl.The captain really tried his best changing spots frequently hope we can go again soon read more

I am not a fisherman (woman) by any means, but I thoroughly enjoyed this excursion! The captain and crew were helpful and accommodating. We saw an eagle on top of the American flag pole, the horses at Assateague, dolphins and my husband even caught a horseshoe crab, so that got passed around for a marine biology lesson. Couple and 2 kids (ages 5 and 7) went on the 8:30 a.m. trip.. caught a rock bass, 4 flounder, and a rock robin. The staff was so great with the kids and talked to us like they knew us for years. They were very helpful with the bait and poles, and took our pictures. They took us to different locations and made sure we had the best odds of catching fish. Fish weren't the point for us, however we caught some anyway. Great guides, very helpful keeping the rods in order, baited, and at the ready. Three hours of glorious sunshine, very scenic and relaxing family togethernless - - that was our point and this trip filled the bill to perfection. Excellent time in the charter fishing trip. Captain was great, took us out to many different fishing spots, to give everyone chance to at catching a fish.
