So when my husband put my favorite bras through the dryer without putting them in my delicate bag, causing the hooks to snag on other clothes and twist out of shape, I was frustrated to say the least. He knew about A Better Alteration through his work for Mirror Pond Dry Cleaners and talked to Gwendy (the owner) on my behalf. She said that she could repair my bras, no problem. I took them into her shop and within days she had my bras repaired, good as new, at a fraction of what it would've cost me to replace them all brand new. The girls in the shop were super helpful and nice, as well. Overall, I was super pleased with the work they did, and will definitely be back the next time I need an alteration done.

I called and asked if they could be finished early (by a day) or if they would at least be finished on the day promised. The tailor told me none of the pants had been worked on yet and she was not positive the pants would be finished on the day promised. I then called the morning of the day promised and ended up leaving a message on their vm. No call was returned. I went in after I returned from my trip and picked up my pants, which still had not been touched. I guess I will be sewing the pockets myself and will find another tailor as well. This is NOT a reliable shop and the lady had no response other then "sorry" on as to why the pants were not worked on.
