Miss Vicky is WONDERFUL! I have been living in the Garland/Dallas area for only two years. Considering I have no family up here (but my cat and dog), the thought of leaving my pets behind while I traveled for work or play was just not going to happen. I searched for local pet sitters and saw how professional Miss Vicky had her website set up and the nice things people whom she sat for had to say. I spoke to her over the phone and emails. She pet-sat my cat over a weekend when i had to travel. I was nervous at first being it was the first time I used her service, however, it was thee best decision i made! I found out my cat had diabetes the day before Thanksgiving and now needed a Pet Sitter to be able to give shots to my cat. I found out about Miss Vicky's Pet Sitting through a neighborhood post and contacted her. With such short notice and so close to the holidays Miss Vicky agreed to pet sit while I went on a already scheduled Christmas vacation. She came over a couple of times before I left to meet my dog and cat (who is totally afraid of people) and I wasn't even sure she would be able to find my cat once she came into the house since his MO was to run and hide. My husband and I are picky when it comes to our service providers. When we find one we love, we stick to him/her! Miss Vicky has been caring for our two Cairns for several years, and I wouldn't go anywhere else. They absolutely LOVE going to her house for boarding. Her homemade chicken treats are their favorite! And when we only go away overnight, she will walk the dogs and play with them and take only the utmost care of them in our home. We've used Miss Vicky several times. Before the first time she spent some time at our house getting to know both us and Georgia (our cat). Georgia took to her quite nicely. While we were gone Vicky would send us regular updates about Georgia, how she ate and mood. The first time we used Vicky we had some anxiety about leaving Georgia for over a week since Georgia was so old (18 years). Vicky took good care of Georgia, gave her meds and Georgia did well. We were glad we used Vicky and continued to use her for Georgia. Unfortunately we lost Georgia a little while ago due to old age (she was 20+). We will use Vicky once we have a new cat. read more

We have used Miss Vicky's pet sitting service twice now and will always use her when we go out of town. Our four dogs love her and her homemade chicken jerky treats. She leaves detailed notes and is always willing to go the extra mile to ensure our pets are comfortable. Miss Vicky is the best...we have been using her for the past 6 years... she is very kind and loving and does everything you ask of her and more... Miss Vicky babysat our three dogs for a couple days. We wanted someone to spend the night as well. She came over before our vacation and interviewed us about all the specifics and our dog's schedule and temperament. She took very extensive notes and I was surprised how thorough she was. She was in and out during the day to walk the dogs which was fine and was there in the evenings and through the night. She is always caring and kind and our pups love her, and let me tell you our little one are not ones to warm up to anyone but immediate family! With them in the house there is no stress and we don't have to worry about them getting sick from other peoples pets.
