We signed with Simple Flooring in February of this year, and I wish that I could give this company 5 stars, but, unfortunately, my experience with them only continued to go downhill. I'll start by saying that the quote we recieved was reasonable, and the women in the office (Michelle & Sandra) were very helpful and quick to respond. I appreciated their communication. Additionally, the technician who actually installed the flooring (John) was very polite, clean, and efficient. We were very pleased with his professionalism and work. However, it was the interactions with the owner (Igor) that were unfortunate. Our flooring project was for a small bathroom and short hallway, and I was told it would only take one day to complete. So, I was surprised when the technician said they would have to come back to do the transitions and Igor would call me later that day to schedule. No call from Igor, so three days later I had to follow up. A one day project turned into a three week project, and one that left us continuously waiting for the owner to show up to finish the job, each time arriving much later than promised. Completely not showing up on a Saturday afternoon and then arriving 45-60 minutes late for additional appointments, without any attempt to communicate, sends a message that your client's time is not valued or respected. Then, when the transitions were finally installed three weeks later, the visit felt rushed and was evident by the fact that one of the doors did not even close all the way over the transition. This seems like one of the first things that should be checked before leaving a job site. Once again I had to contact the owner to come back to correct the issue, and once again, waited for his late arrival the following day to finally finish the project. We are happy with the final outcome as most of the work was completed by John, but the frustration stemming from the interactions with the owner and constant need for follow-up on my end do not allow me to give this company a stellar review. read more

Igor did an excellent job on our floors. However, the planning and design of our staircase balusters were problematic. First, he directed us to a website to order balusters, which didn't fit and couldn't be installed. The second option we chose from a different site was installed with spacing that didn't meet code requirements. For the third option, he used accessory components that we hadn't approved and disliked stylistically. When we raised our concerns, he became defensive and refused to take responsibility, inaccurately claiming the reason for the third install is that we didn't like the style of the second install, which we actually preferred. Additionally, after setting a date to complete shoe molding and other punch-list items, Igor never showed up and has since been unresponsive. read more

The review is two fold: I called to have carpet replaced after water in the basement. Mike came out and was great; straightforward and pleasant and even sold me some leftover tiles and was responsive and professional. The installers were on time, clean and efficient. Good work, good quality, fast install. Thank you Mike and team. My issue was more with office staff. Initial appt was 3 hours late due to a snafu on their side which they didn't even apologize for. Then when it came time to pay I didn't realize the cc would be a 3% fee so after the fact I asked to do Zelle instead. Many phone calls later and me actually having to follow up again after the fact, they refunded me the $40 credit card fee. The right thing to do but they were obviously annoyed and were clear it was a hassle Thank you for doing the right thing in the end:; shouldn't have taken 5 phone calls and several emails though on my side to get it done. So I'd give the carpet and install a 5, internal office staff and admin a 3 for being a bit discombobulated. read more

Overall about a 2.5 stars. I started off very impressed with Igor and Simple Flooring, he came to quote the job of refinishing my main floor, stairs and upstairs hallway, about 1700sq ft. They weren't the cheapest quote but I chose them because of the level of detail talked through during the visit. I felt like they would do quality work and end up dependable. Unfortunately not exactly the case. I will start off by saying that everyone are relatively easy to get a hold of when needed, and they wanted to do a good quality job. Unfortunately I think they had too much going on and weren't able to deliver the quality needed. It started out by a quoted 3 day job starting on a Wednesday before the Fourth of July. Not ending until August 4th. Inconvenience along the way was not knowing if they were showing up that day or not, and caused major family adjustments during the 4th of July. Overall disappointments came with the quality of refinishing. They didn't clean up after themselves and house left with dust everywhere stain finished on all trim and cabinet toe plates (needed to be painted to correct). Stairs that weren't sanded properly and left many visual areas of still having original floor color, and damaged 1/4 round replacement chewed up from sander. Again everyone tried to do the right thing but after a month I just wanted the project to be done, and I'm left with a job that will still need repair. The team had good intentions but would not recommend using them for your project. read more

Although I didn't use Simple Flooring to do the labor for my flooring, I was able to save a few dollars by doing it myself. They were very helpful and accommodating to help me get the material that I needed which was a very good product. They followed up very quickly when I called and kept me updated on my order. Igor and team were overall really good. There were some hiccups along the way - like getting arrival times confirmed or being informed of last minute changes. Since I am in the process of relocating, my availability is much more limited so I really needed them to commit to a time and stick to it. That wasn't always the case, which was really frustrating. Other than that, the install went very smoothly. The team is very meticulous and did an excellent job. They worked very efficiently and the carpet looks amazing and the price was very reasonable. Ultimately, everything worked out... but it was a bit of a roller coaster ride. Igor is a good person and runs a good business. He means well and will make things right. We got our floors redone in June of 2019 and I found this company through Yelp. I gave Igor a call and he responded right away with questions and asked if he could come bring some samples over. First we wanted carpet, and then ceramic tile, and then settled on vinyl planks. Within a week he was over 3 times. He didn't complain about our indecisiveness once and we never felt rushed! Additionally, we weren't sure about the color or style we wanted and asked for his honest opinion and he very politely steered us in the right direction. Other companies would have tried to get us to pay more, but Igor knew we didn't have to spend twice as much to be just as happy with the outcome. We finally booked a date and I found out I couldn't be there for it anymore so he was able to move it up last minute on Thursday to that Saturday. He was super flexible and worked very hard to get it done right. We love our new floors and will definitely go back to the company in the future! read more

My wife and I were looking to replace some nasty carpet left behind by the previous owners, and install LVP. I reached out to Simple Flooring for a quote, and Igor was able to come over within the next couple of days. His quote differed from another company that came over. The other company (also had great reviews), focused more on doing a sales-pitch. Igor came in, ripped up carpet to look underneath, measured the room, gave us info regarding LVP in general, and gave recommendations. He recommended a cork underlayment, but did not push it and said it wasn't even required. Only if we were concerned with super cold floors during the winter. He had a team of two come over within the week! We were trying to get the floor installed before having painters come in (since it's easier to protect the floor rather than avoid scratching up newly painted walls). The team came over and finished the project in one day. Both professional. There was some confusion about the final balance due, but it was due to a miscommunication by all parties, and Igor corrected it immediately. The floor looks amazing. Pictures shown are before, after (pre walls painted) and after (with walls painted). Pricing was actually $1,000 cheaper than the other company that quoted us. The labor warranty with Simple is actually LONGER than the other company, and a lifetime product warranty. read more

Igor and his team did an absolutely fantastic job--we had spent over 3 months looking for a good quote with a good team and we found it with Simple Flooring. Igor's team was fantastic from beginning to end--I had originally contacted them through email, and they called back almost immediately to discuss materials, size of room, and what we were looking for. Igor then visited two days later to do a full measure of the room and lugged in (literally) 10 pounds of different flooring samples for us to choose from. After we chose the material, he had a quote to us within 24 hours and an appointment set up shortly after. The team during installation was great as well--they were polite, prompt, and extremely efficient. They took up all my old floor and carpet and laid down the flooring quickly, moving my furniture for me and keeping any dust to a bare minimum. They made sure to clean up at the end of the day (the project took 2.5 days) and swept up dust nightly. We had a small issue with the wrong material being delivered, and Igor was able to resolve that immediately, personally driving out the next day just to install some edging on the top of the stairs. The installation took him just under 30 minutes, and he drove out over an hour just to do that for us. We recently had Simple Flooring install Vinyl Plank Flooring. The owner is incredibly responsive. We were able schedule an estimate right away. The sales rep brought samples to our home and was able to provide a price at that appt., followed with a written estimate via email.Once we had selected this company, they were able to schedule the install within three weeks. They technically could have fit us in within a week but we needed the extra time. Contract language was straightforward and the owner answered all of our questions. Crew was polite, efficient and worked almost nonstop. We are thrilled with how the floors turned out. read more
