They picked up our daughter's belongings from her 1 bedroom Evanston apartment, stored everything for 30 days, and then delivered it to her new apartment in Champaign--and the service at every stage was beyond excellent. What also stood out was how easy Mighty Moving was to work with as a company. Before choosing them, I spoke with several moving companies and felt a lot of pressure to commit, even though they couldn't guarantee our delivery date and wanted us to agree to very one-sided terms and conditions. Mighty Movers was the complete opposite--straightforward, accommodating, professional, and pleasant to deal with from the first conversation with Robbie Siedel through the final piece of furniture being placed. As I was traveling in from out of town to help with this move, I needed a confirmed delivery day - they guaranteed the day and met their commitment down to the exact time. Brandon was part of both our pickup and delivery crews, and he is fantastic. He has the most upbeat, friendly demeanor, while also being incredibly careful and attentive. Throughout the entire process, he made sure everything was going smoothly and that we were happy with how the move was being handled. Stephen was also part of our delivery crew and was equally amazing. He put furniture back together and then patiently moved pieces an inch forward, an inch back, or wherever we asked until everything was exactly where we wanted it. Nothing ever felt rushed, and both Brandon and Stephen genuinely seemed to care about getting everything right. WARNING WARNING DANGER!! The End of a Nightmare MIGHTY MOVERS We need to begin with Robbie Seidel if his lips are moving you know he is lying. Robbie came to our home 100 Copperwood Drive 3 stories 3 bedrooms 21/2 baths an office and finished basement. He gave us a quote along with other movers and note he was not the cheapest. He suggested that we should have a 3 man crew come on Friday April 12th and pack us up for the move to take place on the 15th. We were not to worry per Robbie they have the very best crews. 2nd LIE When it came to discussing insurance on the move he felt strongly that we did NOT need FULL REPLACEMENT VALUE. That was the 3rd lie. Every painting and all my fine China and crystal that I packed withstood their Tornado. The things that they were to pack got broken, lost, or damaged. When they asked me where to put the wall unit and the buffet I showed them and they would not put them in the correct place it was to heavy for them to make the turn. They ran out of wardrobes so they threw our clothes in plastic bags. They damaged furniture, lost pieces to our furniture, lost the cords to our sleep number bed and even lost their own tools. They were to cover the carpeting to our bedroom that didn't happen so they made a HUGE MESS. They did pay to have the carpet cleaned. We lost our move in Fee of $300.00 because they broke a fixture when asked if they would please sweep up the glass the answer was NO. TOTAL LOSS FOR ITEMS BROKEN, MISSING or damaged and MOVE IN FEE $1,160.96. He made an offer of $180.00 if we don't post anything. We turned it down because as a FAMILY WE ALL AGREED THAT MIGHTY MOVERS could not move a plastic Barbie house across the street without breaking or losing it. For those considering them pay for full replacement value. Also note the platters that were broken were my Jewish Holiday serving dishes. As I said at the beginning these were NOT the cheapest movers. This company is brutal there is not a doubt in our minds that they will break, damage or lose your items. This moving company is BRUTAL and should not be allowed to move a toy much less a home. More pictures just ask to see them. read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY TO MOVE YOUR PROPERTY. I used them to move my property and they broke 2 items. One was the tri-fold mirror that was attached to my dresser and the other was the legs of a rolling cart purchased from the Container Store. Steve, the boss offered, $100.00 to replace the mirror and nothing for the rolling cart. Try to replace a tri-fold mirror for $100.00 - Impossible! The crew I had were doing things after lunch they should not have been doing while on the clock. Save that stuff for when you get home! I would NOT do business with this company if they were the only company in town. They JUST DON'T CARE. Lots of lip service and no action. read more

Lifesavers! I was able to schedule next day service for a "mini move" (thinning out our furnishings prior to listing our home) after another company didn't show.
