    Pulled Pork with XXL Combo

Mission is one of the best and most consistent BBQ places here locally. Service is always fast and very courteous. And you get your food quickly. Plenty of seating for all size groups I like how they always have a special dish to try as well. This trip I got pulled pork with fries. So good. Smokey and moist and you get a good amount of meat. I love their fries, cooked fresh when you order. You get a lot for your money. The variety of sauces at the table is nice. My favs are the Smoky Mountain and Gator Bite. Rest of my family got ribs, pork, brisket sandwich. Sides of beans, cobbler and mac and cheese. All very good. My kids always get the ribs and love them. The baked beans are great with actual meat in them. We have tried so many other places but come back to Mission as our favorite. The consistency and great choices along with great value can't be beat.

Green beans baked beans Mac n cheese and delicious pudding.

Such good hot food! Love the atmosphere here at the restaurant. Top quality food. My 1st time to dine there. I was very impressed. Everything tasted so good.

Mission BBQ is one of my favorite places to go eat for lunch or dinner! It's nice to walk in and all the employees are so friendly and they welcome you into the building. The meals that they offer are very delicious as well. The serving sizes are generous, I normally eat all of it but I should break it into two meals versus consuming it all at the same time.

Great service but expensive. Got 1/4 pound brisket and green beans, no drink. $12 and mostly fat. I asked for half dry half wet. It was mostly wet = fat. The girl at the checkout said I could get wet and they can trim the fat. ‍ Corn bread did come with the meal but it was on the dry side.

Brisket, chicken and turkey. Along with xxl combo. Dessert is banana pudding.

Stopped in for lunch. Hubby and I hadn't had Mission BBQ in a long time. Ordered the three meats and made it a 3 side combo. Was more than enough food for the both of us. The brisket here is moist, juicy and delicious. I also enjoy the homemade French fries. Service is delivered with a friendly smile. Always clean and inviting.

    Sliced Brisket Sandwich

I cannot say for certain where the name Mission BBQ came from; perhaps the mission is superb customer service, affordable BBQ with excellent quality, mouthwatering sides or desirable desserts. Whatever the mission, what I can say is "MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!" My favorite and usual go to is the sliced brisket, preferably moist but all other barbecue items are just as delicious and what you'd find from the person smoking meats on at your local street corner. The prices are very reasonable with satisfying, consistent portions and quality making this a favorite and reliable barbecue joint of mine. All sides and desserts are homemade and Mission BBQ even offers seasonal items that keep me coming back! Whether you get the cheesy potatoes or the Mac n cheese, I promise you your socks will be knocked off from the prevalent cheesy goodness! My favorite dessert is the Apple Pie cobbler which happens to be a seasonal item so if you are lucky enough to see it on the menu, stop everything and order two of them immediately! Mission BBQ has a rustic charm to it that feels very homey but the true reason a person would feel so comfortable and welcome is due to the incredible, welcoming staff! On numerous occasions, I have been provided free sides just from side conversations I have engaged with staff on. This chain also treats military personal unbelievably well and will give free sandwiches on Veterans and Memorial Day. If you sign up for their email club, you also will receive a free sandwich on your birthday. This is a great restaurant with great food run by great people. Try them out!

The staff are really friendly. They go beyond to make sure you are satisfied. The food is constantly good. The fatty/moist brisket is my wife favorite. You also cannot beat the hand cut fries.

This is a top notch bbq. All is fantastic but the black plate specials are over the top. They ALWAYS treat Veterans well.

    Smoked Ribeye....AMAZING & only $13.49

I absolutely love Mission BBQ from the decor, amazing employees and delicious meat and sides. Especially love how they stop at noon every day to honor our country. My favorite thing there is the sliced moist brisket sandwich with some white sauce and vinegar sauce with their amazing fresh in house sliced French fries and the Mac and cheese. I also love their pulled chicken sandwich but can rarely resist the brisket. The black plate special Smoked Prime Rib is fantastic and will definitely get that again when it's on the menu as well as their cheesy potatoes. Give em a try, I think you'll be impressed.

    Meat Sampler w/ Two Sides
    Greg B.

Two meat sampler with two sides and a drink. This was like $26 with tax! Pork was pretty dry and not much smoke flavor, kinda tasted like it was made in a crock pot. Turkey was pretty good but not life changing. Fries were under seasoned and the corn bread was very dry. Green beans were pretty good. The sauces weren't bad. I just don't think it's much value for the money. I don't mind paying more for great BBQ and I know the meats aren't always cheap. I think i'll stick to non-chain BBQ

The best brisket in Brandon. Love every experience. Especially the singing of the national anthem at noon everyday.

Ask the Community - Mission BBQ

Is the brisket smoked right, pink ring around the edges, or not? Four Rivers doesn't get the concept, doubt a decor-driven place would. And what's with no collard greens? Blasphemy! Have yet to have barbecue in this state...

I'm not able to go back and verify because I live in West Palm, but the two times I had dined at Mission, it was closer than most (to the pink edges you're seeking) -- for the Tampa area.…

They allow you to sample the different protein options (steak, chicken, portobello, tofu) before deciding what you want to order. I liked the steak and portobello best. The fresh goat cheese on top went really well with the kale and wild rice base and the crunchy almonds on top were very fresh. Definitely recommend the goat cheese and almond for toppings. It was also enough food for two days and the portions were very generous while also being a good deal! Very clean inside and out with ample seating always available every time I stop by. My favorite salad is the Ceasar salad and I also like building my own "warm bowls". I will always highly recommend Sweetgreen over most salad places because their lettuce is way better in my opinion than what you get at some other restaurants. I like all the options and seasonal changes in the menu as well!

We don't have many tea rooms in this area. It was great to see another one pop up. It's a new family-owned (mother & daughter) tea room on Moon Avenue near Morgan Street. The owners have done a great job in setting the mood with beautiful décor and music. I really love how they've set everything up. It's such a warm and open space. There's even a private room for group seating. It's all very lovely. My reserved time for Royal Tea was set for 11:00 am on a weekday. It's by reservation only. I pretty much had the room to myself since it's so brand new. I don't expect that it will stay that way for too long. Everything was delicious! The wild rice soup was the first course, and it was very comforting. The sandwiches were all so tasty. I really love their grandmother's chicken salad. I'm not usually a fan of yellow curry in chicken salad, but I loved this recipe. It didn't have an overwhelming taste of curry like others I've had in the past. It was just the right amount of everything. I think it even had pecans. The artichoke & cream cheese sandwich was so unique & tasty. The same goes for the cucumber dill open faced sandwich. So wonderful! The homemade cinnamon chip scone and desserts on the top tier were all delicious. The flavor selections can be seasonal or daily, so you may get something different each time. I was hoping to try their sweet potato pie dessert, but I missed it. I'll be on the look out for it the next time it's offered. They serve Harney & Sons tea. The mango black tea was a winner. It was very welcomed on an unseasonably cold day. The service was fantastic! I was offered another pot of tea, but one pot was enough for me. I may take them up on it next time. Yes, there will be many more visits in the near future.
