I love the aesthetic in here. The vibrant colors and lighting. I would love to come back w a book and snuggle into the couch. They get a little swamped at time so be patient. I love the scan at your seat table service. Food is deli style so soups, sandwiches & spuds (loaded potatoes) - I just learned this :) ample parking and family friendly.

Hadn't been here in awhile and was pleasantly surprised at new menu options! Always like the Pick 2 where I had a spud and 4cheese melt sandwich this time. Good portions, reasonable prices. Will be back!

Valentine's Day lunch! Couldn't pick a better place to go. The food is always fresh and this potato is off the chain. Pulled pork, mac n cheese, bacon and bbq sauce - come on! The staff are really helpful and cheerful. Love this place.

Wanted a quick bite before heading to the movies and decided to stop by McAlister's. First, the service was excellent. From entering, to ordering, to food service, to cleanup, great service. The food was basic but fresh and delicious. Portions size was good. I had a 1/2 grilled chicken salad and 1/2 bacon potato. I loved the potato and would order that again. I had a strawberry lemonade and that was delicious. Overall good experience and recommend you try it out.

Visited this location recently after having fond memories of this chain which I visited in my college years in the midwest. This location was easily accessible off of I75 at Gibsonton exit. I ordered the you pick two which allowed me to get a half a sandwich and a half of a loaded baked potato. Both were delicious and I would absolutely recommend either of them but for me the tea is what I remember most about McAlasters. Their ingredients are always fresh and I am a fan of the chain and it was good to have a reminder at this location of why I fell in love with them in the first place. The service was great and the restaurant was clean. I highly recommended them if you love this type of food.

I stopped in here for lunch on a Saturday. I went to the counter to place my order and was greeted by friendly staff. I got the Choose 2 with the Spicy Turkey Melt and the Grilled Chicken Salad with Ranch dressing. I love their unsweetened ice tea. I was pleasantly surprised at the large portions and couldn't finish all of the salad. I did get the pickle on the side and I loved how garlicky it was. This casual chain is a pleasant experience since they bring you your food and then a little later check to see if you need anything else. I enjoyed my meal and look forward to coming back again soon.

I was under the weather and decided that I was gonna get McAllister's to feed the flu. I ordered a peach tea without the ice and I was told it was OK that I got it without the ice and then she commenced to fill the cup of 3/4 of the way this tea is way too expensive to slight me on it And when I asked for a refill, she reluctantly refill the team. I requested extra butter and sour cream for the baked potato I didn't get it. This is all part of the experience and making the food taste the way I would like it to taste for me to eat it and when you're denied it after spending $20 on one meal for a Lunch I won't be coming back

This was my first time as McAlister's Deli and it wont be the last though I will give it some time before I return and I'll tell you why. To start, the ambiance inside is much nicer than I expected going into a sandwich shop, seriously the place is neat. The food wasn't long of a wait and although the potato was dry I had no complaints on the flavor of the meal. I wanted to give 5 stars so badly but the service provided at the register was hard to look past and unfortunately it was just my luck on this side of the line where I was that Jasheeda was working, between the monotone voice and rushing you to the next part of the order before you can finish saying what you're saying, you can tell she didn't want to be there. Meanwhile the other hostess on the opposite end at the other register you could hear and see her bubbly attitude and she was really treating her customers with kindness. I saw the people behind me get treated the same way and then the people after them got ignored as she looked to them walk up then went off to the back uncalled for but thankfully the other hostess acknowledged them and called them to the other side. Jasheeda would be better fit dishwashing in the back where she doesn't have to be face to face with clients and she can be monotone and have an attitude with the dishes instead. I feel that the quality of customer service is just as important as the quality of the food..

One of the best Italian sandwiches I've had, fresh ingredients, served hot, and the bread was absolute perfection. Flavorful, satisfying, and made with care. Service was fast , inside everyone was friendly, restaurant well lit. Definitely recommend!

My 1st visit to McAlisters deli and everything was delicious. I have seen multiple locations but never once tried McAlister's but my sister was in the mood for soup and salad and Panera bread was busy so we decided to make the drive and it was totally worth it. I got the Reuben and chili that was super delicious and filling the reuben is packed with meat so was the chili. My sister got a French dip and broccoli cheddar soup and they were both good. The ajuu I tried was flavorful. Even the kids love their food the kids cheese pizza was good and every kids meal comes with a cookie which I thought was nice. The establishment itself was clean, and the service was really on point. They helped me carry my drinks to the table and even helped us clean up in the end. Definitely a five star experience.

Atmosphere - nice. The restaurant is bright and clean. Service - Very Good. The staff is friendly and the service prompt. In addition, the Manager stopped by our table frequently to ask if we need anything Food - Very Good. I had the roast beef club sandwich with a side of potato salad. The sandwich is large. The roast beef was very tender and the bread fresh. The potato salad was delicious. Overall Value - Given the quality, quantity and price, this is a very good value.

I came back, and still immensely like this place. My goal is to try everything on the menu except the pastrami which I don't like lol. This time I had the spicy turkey sandwich and it was great. The bread was fresh and the ingredients all worked well together. An employee, I am guessing the manager, checked on us twice to make sure we liked our food and to offer refills on the iced tea. Great touch!

Unfortunately, after my most recent experience, I won't be returning. I stopped in around 3:00 p.m. and was happy to see it wasn't busy. I went to the deli counter, waited for someone to serve me, ordered my chicken salad, grabbed a soda and chips, and headed to the open register. As I walked up, the cashier called another customer over ahead of me. I waited while he spent several minutes deciding whether to pay cash or by card because of the 4% card fee. I continued standing there with my three items, to the point that I actually set them down and debated walking out. Then, instead of helping me, the cashier motioned for an entire family to come to the registereven though I had been standing there waiting before they arrived. After that, she waved over another customer, and I had to wait while a mother and her two teenagers decided which desserts they wanted. Again, I stood there patiently. When it was finally my turn, there was no greeting, no "thank you for waiting," nothing. The first thing I was asked was, "Do you have a pickup order?" I said no. She then motioned for my chicken salad container, saying she needed it. I placed it on the scale and set my other items on the counter. The cashier then asked, "Are you okay?" I simply shook my head because, honestly, I wasn't. Instead of recognizing why I was frustrated, she continued talking, making comments, and escalating the interaction rather than simply ringing me up. At that point, I asked, "Do you want to argue? Do you want me to go back and forth with you?" I then asked who the manager was. She pointed to a woman beside her, who identified herself as the owner. I asked if she could ring me up instead. Even then, the cashier continued making comments. It was only after she continued engaging me that my voice became louder in response. Rather than addressing the repeated comments from her employee or asking what had happened, the owner immediately said, "Do not raise your voice at my employee." That response was disappointing. There was no concern for the customer experience, no apology for repeatedly being skipped in line, and no attempt to resolve the situation. There was also no acknowledgment that the interaction had been escalated by the cashier's continued remarks before I ever raised my voice. The irony is that I have spent a significant amount of money catering from Frankie's Deli over the years because my customers love the food. Good food will bring people in once. Great customer service keeps them coming back. Sadly, this experience ended that relationship for me. There are plenty of places with great food, but respect and customer service matter just as much. One final thought: this is Florida not NY. Hospitality goes a long way. The aggressive, dismissive attitude I experienced isn't what I expect when supporting a local business. I won't be back.

The Vibe: From the outside, the shop is pretty unassuming, tucked into a strip mall--but that's often where the best deli spots are hiding. When we walked in, we were immediately greeted by a busy lunch rush and a fast-paced New York deli vibe, with staff cranking out sandwiches left and right. Always a good sign. What We Ordered: * Hot Rachel * Classic Italian * 1/2 lb pesto macaroni salad * 1/2 lb redskin potato salad We took everything home for lunch and... Every single thing was delicious. Sandwich Highlights: The Hot Rachel was exactly what you want from a deli sandwich--tender pastrami, melty Swiss, tangy slaw, and toasted rye all working together perfectly. Stacked high and full of flavor. My husband's Classic Italian was also fantastic, loaded with meats and that classic deli balance of flavors. Both deli salads were great, but the pesto macaroni salad was the standout--creamy, herby, and packed with flavor. We're honestly so excited to have discovered a great New York-style deli less than 10 minutes from our house. Safe to say we'll definitely be back soon to work our way through the rest of the menu. Pro tip: Don't skip the deli salads--grab one or two to share with your sandwich.
