I was really excited for a good massage to help with my tense back. The atmosphere was great, and I truly wish I could say the same about the massage itself. Unfortunately, my experience did not meet expectations. I had Joe as my massage therapist, and my back was never actually massaged--only lightly rubbed throughout the session. It did not feel like proper massage work, and I left without any relief. I'm not sure if this was a training issue, but I do not feel the service was worth the money paid. Because of this, I would not return or recommend this place to someone looking for a therapeutic massage.

She asked me about the areas I had mentioned as problems in my first appt., and if I had any new concerns, etc. etc. She was very flexible when I asked her to start the massage with me on my back. Every place I've ever gone to has started me out on my stomach and then had me switch to my back, which means I leave with a back ache because of the arthritis in my lower back. She was very happy to build the appointment around my needs and spent lots of time on the areas that needed the most work.
