Just went to mission nutrition with a friend to get a smoothie after our workout at Orangetheory in Syosset. I had a free smoothie card from when they tabled there so I wanted to use it. I got the bad to the bone smoothie with chocolate collagen powder in it. I also purchased some protein snacks to try. I actually like the smoothie and my friend liked hers too. It's super clean in the store and the employees are friendly. I will say it is a little pricey, but we are also talking a health food store with keto friendly and dietary friendly food. I have a gift card from Christmas that they will not honor. It's allegedly new owners. Yet the signage outside remains the same. Store front remains same as well as inside. Not until it was time to pay did I realize it was new owners. To be rejected at the register unable to use my Gift Card. This is NOT right. How would any consumer know it's new owners. By far the worse experience I have ever had. I was a loyal customer to them I would always get my shakes and any other random things I needed but last night was the worse experience I have ever had. I always get body salt scrubs from them. Normally they are 10 dollars or so, but it had a price tag of $3.00 on it so I went up to the cash to confirm it and the guy said yes it is on sale so I purchased it and when I got the bill I was charged full price I asked the guy and he said yea on the reciept whatever the discount price underneath is thats the actual price. but it wasn't that is was the dollar amount minus from the actual price!!!! Long story short they marked the item for $3 and he was trying to trick me into paying the fulll price because they made a mistake. I went back to the store and confronted him he practically threw the money at me and turned around and face the wall. I WOULD NEVER EXPECT ANY HUMAN TO BE TREATED LIKE THAT. IF THEY HAVE MADE A MISTAKE THEY SHOULD HONOR THAT AND VALUE THE COSTUMER. BECAUSE IT WAS THE MISTAKE AT THEIR END. I WILL NOT BE RETURNING TO THAT STORE EVER AGAIN.
