The room is pretty big so thought there was going to be a lot of good stuff. Looking around the place it became quickly apparent that this stuff is really just overstock stuff. Sitting in the chairs and feeling the fabric of the furniture you can tell the quality is somewhat lower which is reflected in the prices. After walking around for a few minutes we decided to leave. The prices are good but the stuff just seems disposable. Like you just replace them every year. We just didn't find anything worthwhile and the social media post was obviously an exaggeration and just had to pass. Only go if you want low prices over quality. But we had to pass.

I really don't know where people park when they are dining at CTK. Perhaps nearby street parking. Whenever I come here, I've gotten lucky to park in the lot. Thank you! Please note each parking spot is tiny. I'm pretty sure they are all compact size. Be careful when you're driving into the space and pulling out of the space. Besides CTK, other tenants are the dentistry, law office, donut shop, and Indian cuisine. There is a 2nd floor... not sure who and/or what is up there. I may not need the other services, but maybe I will drop by the donut shop one day.

Tonight was a perfect example of why. I watched a manager open a register, help one customer, and then close it--even as the line kept growing to about 15 people. That left just one associate handling a long line, while another cashier was tied up helping a group with a large purchase. Instead of jumping in to help during a busy moment, the manager was on her phone, then emptying trash behind the registers and adjusting carts--completely ignoring the line of waiting customers. The only bright spot was Carlos, who was working incredibly hard and treating customers with patience and professionalism despite the situation. He deserves recognition for how he handled things. It's frustrating because TJ Maxx has great products, but the lack of customer care at this location makes it not worth the stop.

There are some parking spots on the street nearby. This is a great place for a small group of friends to hang out and enjoy snacks or drinks. They stock up in kids toys, hair accessories, vinyl & latex gloves, kitchen appliances, phone accessories, etc. I stopped by to get batteries and bubbles for Max's bubble gun. So I browsed the entire store, lots of little knick knacks that would come in very handy at times. Well, guess what I picked up for my kids. I got two little turtles... Ohhh they are so cute. They are about 3 mths old. It was $12.99 comes with 3 mths worth of food. There were one beta fish and I might think about going back to get it. FYI, we named those turtles Titi & Kiki .... so cute!!!
