I've never written a yelp review, but I've got to share. Background: We live in Minnesota, like bougie restaurants, (particularly Indian food), and we were in MO visiting family. Generally my small hometown is a bit of a restaurant/grocery desert, so I was VERY excited to find that this place was excellent. Yes, it's 1/3 slot machines, 1/3 Indian grocery store, and 1/3 truck stop restaurant, but I will look forward to eating here again every time we come to visit. We've had Indian food from all over the country, and we've eaten at a Michelin star Indian restaurant in London. This was a delicious meal. Can't wait to eat there again! read more

Yuck! Is the only name I could think of. No place to sit while waiting to pick up food. Most of furniture was dirty. They did not have half the stuff we requested. I really wanted to like this place. The people were friendly and the 24/7 parking, food, and restroom seemed like it had good potential for a good truck spot. Unfortunately I will never come back due to the lack of quality in the food. We ordered the chicken curry and goat curry. There were big and tiny bones infused in the very minimal bits of meat in the super spicy stew. It was completely inedible and a waste of $39 for spicy stew and rice. read more

Big parking lot for cars and semi trucks. We ordered the vegetable samosa, goat curry, lamb curry, yellow dhal, basmati rice and garlic naan. The food was very delicious and the portions were large. One entree can serve two people easily. Some of the best Indian food I've eaten. There's hand sanitizer at the entrance of the door and the seating is spaced for the new covid regulations. They're also cleaning each table after you leave with commercial cleaner. We will definitely be back. read more

What a bizarre experience going to a 24/7 Punjabi restaurant in the middle of southern Missouri. I went with my pal who is from India and another pal and we were all blown away by how good all the food was. We got spicy vegetarian Biryani, buttered chicken, paneer tikka masala, and roti with yogurt. All was excellent. There is no menu, but we talked through what we wanted with the man who was essentially "the menu." It was a cool experience and the food is absolutely worth it. Don't go in fear of this place because of the no menu concept. Evidently this is a common thing for authentic Dhabas. read more

We were doubtful when we passed this place on the way from St. Louis to Dallas. But when we read about it, we became intrigued, so we stopped on the way back. It probably would have been good to call ahead and have the food waiting for us because it took about 15-20 minutes to get it. Not long when you are sitting down, but long for getting on the road. While we waited, we sat at a large community table. Truckers came in and out--probably 5 total while we were there. The man who took our order was friendly--no table service--you order at the register. The bathroom was very dirty--toilet and floor--and there was no toilet paper. Overall the place did not look very clean. Visible trash and food remnants on tables. We were not given the option to eat inside. They packed our food in to go containers and gave us a paper plate and plastic wear. We left to eat in the parking lot. When we read the review, we heard about outside seating. There is a patio, but it still had Christmas blow up decorations (one deflated blocking the stair), and no tables so it did not seem like that was a possibility. We didn't ask. The food itself was pretty good. We ordered it medium spicy. I got yellow dal--very flavorful with fresh ginger, onion, and cilantro. I tasted my husband's Chana masala which he liked. I thought the tomato sauce tasted more like canned tomato sauce than fresh (or even canned) tomatoes. It stayed very hot in the containers. The roti was fine--seemed like the premade kind I can get at the Indian grocery store. Rice was flavorful and did not seem like it had been sitting around for days. I don't think we'll be back, but it was fun to learn about dhabas and it was definitely made for truckers in mind. Glad they have a place to stop with nourishing food. read more

Pure desi style, touch of Punjab!!!. do not forget to try out PARATHA with yogurt and pickle my favorite!!! well i need to try out all the Menu i might change my mind!!! Just remember it's not a city style restaurant, the name "DHABA" should be self explanatory!! which means, Traditionally "DHABA" do not keep menu and other etc services, so don't get upset!!!! go with empty belly, and enjoy some traditional food!!!!! I would highly recommend long distance travelers to stop by and enjoy the food!!!! More then 35 items and the staff is supper helpful if you are not familiar with traditional food. Enough parking space, clean bathrooms, even a traditional bed if you want to starch out after a long drive, good place for gathering and hangout. Hidden away on I 44 while roading it from Chicago 2 Dallas I found this gem ! I had always wondered about & missed good old desi dhabas on grand US highways (specfic name for eateries along side highways in India known for their fresh food & warm service) - this ends my search, the parathaa were soft , spicy and delecious when served hot, the rasmali was quite nice and the tea was acceptable. This place is frequented by "actual" truckers with real trucks , it is not just a faux Dhaba place, the only con was that bathrooms could have been cleaner, but perhaps that was an authentic touch by design :-P read more

Incredible food, we stop every time we are driving through to OK. I'm so glad they have expanded.

No menu posted. No prices. No receipt. Food all served in take out dishes with plastic ware. No knives. Food was tasty enough but some dishes had a lot of small bones in them. Wow!! Wow!! Wow!!! My hubby and sister and I had dinner here tonight and everything was delicious! The Naan was perfection according to my dates. We had the Lamb Curry and Chicken Tili Masala and Pork Tiki Masala. Again i say WOW! The sauces were flavorful and fresh and all of the meats tender. Our family was so excited when we saw this new restaurant open near our home! I had chicken korma, my wife had shrimp tika masala and our kids had butter chicken with chicken tenders and fries.
