We happened upon this wonderful little bar for a nightcap when we were staying nearby at the suites in fall creek. Every single worker welcomed us when we walked in, and the excellent service carried until we left. It was a Monday night, so it wasn't crazy busy, but they had two free pool tables and karaoke. We didn't eat during this visit, but I will say that their BBQ smelled delectable, and there were many happy patrons munching down. We would've probably stayed longer, but it was very hot inside. We were sweating almost the entire time unless we went and stood in front of the giant fan in the corner. It would've been 5/5 for me any day if it was even 5 degrees cooler in there--the high for the day was only 85 degrees, and we went in at 7:30pm, it had to be hotter inside than it was outside at peak! I would definitely come back to try their BBQ and more of their cocktail offerings on the later side, or on an off-season day. It was mentioned their kitchen is open late! read more

In town on vacation wanted to watch the Bears game they didn't have it that sucks very disappointing

When leaving cops harass you and everyone that leaves. We seen them pull an uber after he pulled in to pick someone up. He pulled two of my brothers over and harassed them after lying about what he pulled them over for. Took breathalyzers on both and they were both good. If you go have a dd and take a video of the cops pulling people over. It's insane someone needs to sue. read more

Initially I'd say yes absolutely most amazing place. This easily changed. QUICKLY. a large group came in and they were suddenly great. Watch the video. They stole my husbands chair. This place is a hole in the dive bar in the Ozarks. But don't let that fool you. High energy staff that is as nice as can be and the food and adult beverages are second to none. I had their burnt end sandwich with Cole slaw. The best Burt ends I've had outside of my Texas home. Cole slaw was another story. Don't waste your time on it. Prices were extremely fair for burnt ends. They use their own house rub that they provided to me to take for home use (for a reasonable price) One of the staff told me that they have 5 other places around Tablerock Lake. This place is highly recommended should you be in the area, especially for fast, friendly service at reasonable prices. read more

Stumbled across this place on Yelp under "late night eats" in Branson and it was a very interesting place. It's a bar type of establishment with live music, food and drinks. There wasn't much seating when we arrived, it was pretty packed. We caught a table in the back but happened to be right by the stage. The live music was actually pretty good, they put on an excellent show! My only struggle was how loud it was at that table. For the drinks: they were pretty good. As for the food, some was good some not so much. The half rack was seasoned and tender but there was ALOT of fat on them. The rib tips were not rib tips I've ever seen it was more like chopped meat. I was expecting bone in rib tips. The beans and slaw were pretty good no complaints about those. The service was pretty good up until after we got our food then it took a while to flag someone down as our waitress never came back to check on us. Only reason I gave a 3 star. My experience was very underwhelming to say the least. The food was pretty decent and had large portions. The atmosphere is hard to explain and was just weird. The place smelled like smoke. We stumbled upon this. We wanted bbq and saw the smokers out front. We were greeted with shots when we walked in (great idea on their part) we ended up staying for 3 hours, playing pool (free up until 6 p.m.) had several of those yummy drinks. The food was amazing. Begged for service from 2 different servers. Couldn't get anyone to even take our drink order.

We were told by a local, Jeff, to go check out Cheeky Monkey.... Funny name but there is nothing funny about this bar!! We were greeted by Russ with a welcome shout and he helped us out!! Immediately you are greeted with "green tea drink". OMG!! We actually went with a cape cod and they were delicious! The only reason we didn't go with green tea is because we could've had buckets of it!!! Soooo good!!! We were then greeted by GM Kim and she was just a hospitable!! Started with Pulled pork nachos and a combo of ribs and brisket with beans and coleslaw!!! Y'all all we can say is go for it!!! It was all delicious and some great eats!! Wow!! Where to begin? A Branson local recommended this place, then I checked on YELP....4.5 with 300+ reviews. Those two things rarely lead us astray as we travel. This was one of those rare times. It's a "dive" / hole-in-the-wall place. We've had many terrific meals in such places. The servers were very pleasant & welcoming. There was a meat smoker going in the front of the restaurant and the cook said that he was cooking brisket. Being from Texas, that got our interest. One of our foursome had the chicken BLT salad and it was excellent. Two had brisket sandwiches and I had a brisket / sausage combo plate. Sadly, the baked beans and monkey dip appetizer were the highlight of our meals. Worst. Brisket. Ever. Thin, dry, tough. Not quite shoe leather, but close. Terrible!! I can't believe that there are so many great reviews if this is the standard brisket offering. I'll admit that we're spoiled to lots and lots of great Texas BBQ. But this was the saddest brisket ever. Beware!! On a happier note....it becomes a non-smoking establishment on 5/15/24. read more

Convenient little dive bar with a catchy pun named beverages. Fairly large drink menu with great ingredient descriptions. Some drinks served in "buckets" or other specialty glasses. Drink prices seem slightly higher for the bar type. My pint Voodoo cocktail $10. Most others range from $13-$18. The one thing they excelled on was staff friendliness and hospitality. Each waitress and bartender we met went out of their way to greet us, ask personalized questions, and quickly fill requests. The best part about Crazy Craig's is the welcome you get as soon as you enter. It's on the dive bar side of things, but you can tell it's a local favorite. The bartenders were friendly and great and they give you a sample as soon as you walk in. We did not get to try the food, but the smoker outside smelled delicious. read more

What a fun place!! We had more fun watching folks walk in and react to the hollered greeting by the staff! The smiles and look around was exactly like ours!! Of course we were immediately greeted, then sat and were greeted again! Every interaction with the staff was super friendly and again, just plain fun! They all took the time to chat, get to know us and allowed us to get to know them! The food and drinks are amazing! Everything with a monkey in the title must be tried!! I'm back again. This place has become a staple for me when visiting Branson. This time I brought some friends with me. We were there for late night drinks. Great place. Great Rueben sandwich. The waitress was a lot of fun. She gave us samples of the daily drink special which was very good. It's a bar first and foremost so it has a bar atmosphere. Non smoking bar so that is a plus. We were there at an odd time so the place was pretty quiet. I've been to all three Crazy Craig's locations but Cheeky is my favorite. read more
