Not this exact location, but another one of this car washes locations in Salt Lake City, nearly destroyed and almost totaled out my vehicle and they are denying any type of responsibility over it, and they are unethical. They are unprofessional. My insurance company has tried multiple times to reach out to them without any success. They are just ignoring the calls company is not a company that you want to trust with your vehicle. They are totally professional people here and I'm not saying this particular location. On 1-12-24 this car wash pushed my truck off the track, I ended up with a damaged front end which I immediately took in to get repaired. Ford confirmed the damage as the components had just been replaced 2 weeks earlier. I emailed a response to the claim along with the repair bill. Mister Car Wash is refusing the claim and I am filing suit in small claims for the 671 in repairs. Once awarded I'll will also post the claim. Car was cleaner but not clean after going through this wash. Did not have time for a rewash. Should be clean first time through. I noticed that they replaced all the brushes with the rubber kind. They surely last longer but don't do as good a job as the cloth type and I think they are harder on the paint. There is no wipe down service available. I need to find a different car wash in the Bountiful area. It's too bad, this used to be a good car wash. read more

You really should fix your car wash so all the brushes work. It's been broken for a month.... and it would be helpful for your staff to use the hose to wash off the bugs before you enter the wash.... Other than that, this is an extremely average car & over priced for the monthly pass... Fix your car wash so everything works. read more

FAIL... I have been disappointed in so-called "professional" car washes forever. They are NEVER attentive to details. MISTER CAR WASH is no different. I paid $41, tip included, and it was too much. I do NOT LIKE inspecting the vehicle and pointing out things to be attended to and then standing around in the hot sun waiting for them to tend to it. If they cannot INSPECT THEIR OWN WORK then they are doing a crappy job. It is NOT my responsibility to TRAIN or SUPERVISE their employees. I asked for the works inside and out. The floor mats were not cleaned. The cup holders were not cleaned. They did not vacuum under the seats. The back seats were folded down and they vacuumed on the tops but did not lift the seats to vacuum or wipe the top of the seats or the floor under them. There were leftover bits of smashed bugs on the windshield where attention to detail was clearly lacking... BIG TIME. There is a built in shallow tray on the floor between and just in front of the front seats. Dust and crumbs were not touched at all. Also, a lite swipe of fingers on the mag wheels comes away with black road smear from poor cleaning. These are OBVIOUS things even their weakest employee should have easily noticed. read more

Overpriced and definitely not worth the money. Avoid if possible. I initially signed up for one of the basic unlimited memberships, which is nearly $40 a month (coming from Arizona, the basic unlimited is closer to $16/mo). Wasted money! The water used smells like sewage, and blows into my car, leaving a very unpleasant and unclean smell. The tire cleaner and/or brushes are so gunky, there is a gross residue left on my wheels after each wash. They have people drying half of my car as I drive out, but they leave many water spots that I end up drying it again anyway- they might as well not even try to dry it. The vacuums are hit or miss: one might have great suction, while the one next to it is weak. The "high pressure" air is exactly the opposite, no high pressure to speak of. read more

Just bought a a new 2021 truck. I have put less than 500 miles on it. Took it through the wash. It dented and scraped my rear bumper. It also caused scrapes in 3 other areas on my truck. Manager told me there is no way his car wash could have done the damage. I have a scrape 8 inches long going up along the side of the cab.A 3" diameter scrape around my front fender and a 3" diameter scrape on my driver side door. read more

Car owners beware!! The car wash itself was a rip off. I bought the middle range wash and my truck looked no cleaner after. But the real joke came at the end, when one of their vacuums sucked the 4wd control right off my dash!! The company refused to reimburse me at all for the $150 control their machine destroyed and which my truck can't operate without. Terrible customer service and a crappy wash that has cost me almost $200 now. If you don't want car damage from an irresponsible company, go elsewhere. read more

Take your car elsewhere. I have had three vehicles on their monthly plan for years each going through 1000s of times at multiple locations. Last week in a freak accident a brush caught my rack, lifting my car off the ground almost hitting the car behind me. It not only broke the rack but the factory bars as well. I did not realize how bad it was until the car that I almost hit sent me the dash cam footage. Mister Carwash declined to assist in any of the repairs. The General Manager Chris Chatfield told me that you roll the dice every time that you go through the wash with any exposed hardware regardless if they let you enter or not, and it was not their problem. read more

Buyer Beware! Unlimited Wash Club is a lie! Mister should STOP saying Unlimited or be sued for false advertising! Mister Car Wash says you can sign up for unlimited car washes but once they think you will use more car washes then they really intended, they will CANCEL your monthly membership. I do outside sales and need my car to look neat. When not doing sales I also drive a little for Uber. Once Mister Car Wash saw my Uber sticker in the window they rushed out and told me I could no longer use their services. read more

They have argumentative & uneducated staff, the vacuums do not work well, and the wash I purchased did not deliver all of the advertised benefits. Mister car wash tore my passenger side trim off the rear fender of my 97 f250 classic. Upon realizing this I notified them immediately and made them stop their car wash. after going through the carwash there was my trim wadded up in one of their brushes ready to pulverize every car behind me. They told me to go to there body shop and get an estimate which I did immediately and brought it to them as asked. This was at the first of April and could not get a response until first part of June. after trying for those past three months they came to the conclusion my truck must have been already damaged and they refuse to pay. I would strongly suggest anyone who values their automobile or truck not take it to this car wash!!! I really like having a clean car, so I pay the $30 a month for the unlimited wash options and as long as you go twice within a month it pays itself off. They do a better job than most other car washes, especially if you're in a hurry with the guys at the end of the wash to wipe down your car. The vacuums are just fine and free (again) so I must've missed these guys when you had to pay for them and I am grateful for that. If I do want the interior cleaned I can pay just three more dollars a wash or $10 more a month to get it done unlimitedly. I have yet to do it, but my laziness is pretty intense so I'm sure I will. So far, I like this place a lot. It's not just a quick, cheep place to come like the wash at the local gas station. read more

This is probably the worst car wash in the area. After getting through it my car was still covered with dirt on the hood, there was still bugs all over my grill, and I still had bird poop on spots all over my car. Once I got home and checked my bank account, I also noticed they over charged me. I had originally asked for a basic car wash, and instead was charged $18 for a premium one. Steer clear. This place is a joke. My wife went to this location needing the interior of her car cleaned and paid for the $30 interior package. After her car was "finished" (in less than 5 minutes, mind you), she opened her door to find that the interior had been merely grazed over with a vacuum--just in the most visible areas on the front driver and passenger seats--nothing vacuumed in the back seat or on the sides of the seats. The dash, front control area, and cup holders were not wiped down whatsoever. Not wanting to be confrontational, my wife then spent 30 minutes vacuuming and wiping down her car herself. Save your money and go to Quick Quack over in Centerville where they have a much better exterior automatic car wash and far superior customer service. read more

Unfortunately, there's not another car wash in Bountiful (other than the gas stations) so we have been using this one. I've been here about 5 times. Each time I get the "Platinum" which is $18... each time I have left and when I got home I found that there was still salt or bugs on my car. $18??? It's not well done, the kids drying at the end rush to dry your car and miss a bunch of spots. No wonder they offer the monthly pass, I imagine you have to go back to get a normally easy and spot free wash. It's a really short car wash. Lights and effects are cool, but give the customer what they're paying for- a wash that they don't have to go back through to get the job done. Love the washes, don't get me wrong, I am a dedicated MCW customer. However, this location has the worst vacuums. Half of them don't work, and the other half don't even suck anything up. There's maybe one vacuum station that has the vacuums working, and the rest are not on or are clogged somehow. It's convenient to have a wash so close to my house, but I would almost rather make the drive to South Salt Lake so that I can actually vacuum my car. read more

I paid $30 for an inside and out wash and still had spots on the outside where they didn't dry things and my kids finger prints on windows, which should be pretty easy to see and clean. I paid 36 to get it all clean in/out and it look worse than before, kind of like a rinse with a hose at home‍ no wonder why they have such a bad reviews and just don't waste your money, really expensive for what you get. My wife went here the other day and got their $30 car wash. Mind you, this is the price for one month of unlimited car washes so for $30 I would hope the inside and out was done with a bit of care. When she got in the car after they were done she drove over to the vacuums and finished the job. There was still food debris in the cracks of the seats, doorhandles, in the cup holders and under the seats. Maybe this place is fine for the monthly DIY set, but $30 for the works is a rip off. I called the business and left a message hoping to get this resolved without leaving a review and I never got a call back. It's been 2 weeks. I used to go to the Mister Car Wash in Salt Lake City and had an amazing experience on more than one occasion. I guess the service isn't the same across the car wash chain. read more

I used to use MCW, when I was in Bountiful, with good results. Yesterday I paid for the Platinum wash thinking it would result in a clean, dry, car. No such luck. After going through the wash TWICE the results were the same. No pre-soak or scrub to loosen the bugs or road grime. No attention to the brake dust on the wheels. Not thoroughly drying the windshield (it makes you wonder what the two employees, whose job it is to dry your car, have missed when they leave the middle of the windshield to drip dry). Your worse fears are realized when you exit the vehicle to find a wet, still dirty car, with brake dust still on the wheels, and smeared windows from (and certainly the rest of the car) using DIRTY drying towels. I am only giving MCW two stars because they got the bird crap off of the hood. Sorry guys, NEVER AGAIN!!! read more

I got the $150 detail done yesterday on my Mazda CX-5. They told me it would be ready at 4 so I called and they said more like 4:45. When I got there at that time they were slammed. Full lobby, car wash lined almost out to 500 South and workers buzzing away on cars near the vacuum area. So mine wasn't quite ready. I generally would not mind and wait but I had a concert to get to and needed my car right then. The way I was responded made me feel like they truly cared about my experience. They offered to let me take it then and bring it back the next day to finish the little bit of work they needed to do. Everyone I dealt with was professional, kind and did not treat me as a burden at all. When I came back the next day they were much slower and got it done quick. They double checked with me before I left that everything was good in my eyes. They even touched up on work they had already completed- wow! I was very impressed by the employee's positive attitudes and calm demeanors during busy and probably stressful moments. I am a food service manager myself and can understand how demanding and difficult it can be to meet everyone's expectations. To me, this kind of experience is especially impressive. To see employees handling difficult moments in such a positive way. Did I mention my car was spotless and absolutely beautiful? It felt so good to get it cleaned! Ive been a unlimited wash monthly member for a few years now and used to come this location every morning. I recently came back to this location after some time while driving through Bountiful and discovered some changes have been made to this location for the worse. It seems the quality of soap has gotten cheaper, and it seems they've chosen to dial back on the amount of soap and water thats used for every car that goes through. HARDLY ANY WATER! A brush that's hitting your paint back and forth without any water is asking for swirl marks and scratches to the clear coat! Seriously what are they thinking? Now, what was most frustrating was their decision to discontinue having people that dry your car off as after you exit the car wash. They would usually be waiting around the corner with towels ready to dry off. These guys would usually do a fantastic job and would be provided tips by the customer. Now they've settled to just having people in the tunnel to dry it off but that simply doesn't do the job well. I am bothered by these guys close way too early. 6:00pm is too early in my opinion. I was really disappointed because of this, and am not sure if I will come back to this location until they improve. I would suggest Mister Car Wash on 300 West and 1900 South in Salt Lake because they're fast, better vacuums, and most of all MORE SOAP AND WATER! read more

I've been using this car wash on in off for about four years now. It was Firehouse car wash before the Mr. Hotshine franchise bought them out and it's sadly just gone downhill from there. Back when it was firehouse they actually cared about the quality of the wash they were selling you. They had employees actually spend time to get all the bugs, water spots, tar, etc. off your vehicle. Now they have these poor kids trying to dry off your car off with the 15 seconds they have as your car exits the tunnel. Then send you on your way. But at least they let you use their towels to dry your car off a little better while using the free vacuums right? THINK AGAIN. I was just informed today while trying to grab a towel that they no longer allow customers to use their towels. But then they imformed me that have some available inside you can purchase. You're kidding me right?! This is just another example of corporate greed ruining a perfectly good business. I knew a kid that used to work there that said the manager over all the stores in Utah used to rent a car and park across the street so he wasn't recognized . He would then time them and yell at them if they didn't clean the full service vehicles fast enough. This employee basically admitted that they didn't have time to clean the cars properly because all the higher ups only cared about was how many car they got out each day. Nothing but respect for the hardworking employees there but steer clear if you want a quality job done with a company that actually cares about the service they provide, instead of how much money they can make off you. read more
