A PSA to all potential car wash customers in Cape! I have been a member of the mister car wash membership for over 2 years now and have gone through atleast once a week. This happened last week, I went through and came out with this damage on my vehicle. Upon noticing I obviously created a claim with mister car wash. They decided to decline liability on the basis that they are unable to see the damage on the cameras due to the fact that it is so small on the hood. They have admitted the damage wasn't there beforehand but won't take responsibility so I will be taking further action. The manager stated he would be give me the camera footage of driving through the car wash up until I stated I would be taking further action if they didn't take responsibility. They now refuse to share the video and the manager has refused to be of any further help. I understand accidents happen and they were even forthcoming with admitting multiple incidents happened in the same week as mine, yet they still struggle to take responsibility and correct the situation. Be particular with where you choose to wash your vehicle. After sharing my story with a few Facebook groups, it appears as though this is something that they do to hundreds of people all the time and never take responsibility, they obviously don't care about their customers at all. take your money elsewhere. read more

On April 13, 2024 at about 8 am I went there and asked for the most expensive car wash since my car was long overdue. I declined to tip, as all the guy was doing was putting my credit card in the machine. No one works on your car interior or exterior but you, if you're up for it. So I thought they did an awfully crappy job and then I see from my credit card that the little jerk put the car wash through at the cheapest level. Dude, if you want to make money perhaps you could get a job where you're not easily replaced by a machine. I won't be back and I certainly don't recommend this business. There's way too many car wash places now in Cape Coral, and lots of new ones being built. read more

If I experience a bad service I usually chop it up to a singular event and move on but ever since this car wash has been taken over by Mister Car wash the quality of the dog washes has seriously gone down hill. The dog wash area was dirty, they don't offer plastic aprons anymore, and the water was freezing cold. Not to mention they have raised the prices. Its a shame that a quality family run wash was bought out by this flaming hot pile of trash. they stripped the wash machines out and put in less and subpar machinery. I've tried this wash 3 times and always my car is still filthy, the previous owners would have stopped me and asked if I wanted to run through again on the house. Car wash is on the pricey side for a basic but what adds to the cost is the manager taking your credit card to process your wash on a touch screen? Why exactly do I need her doing this? When I asked she said it was her job. Her job to help a competent individual to press a button for the car wash they want and to insert a credit card? She had a fallen gate with the monthly line but I guess I looked incompetent! To make matters worse she asked if I wanted to add a tip? it's an automatic car wash and no one hand drying my car?! Mister Car Wash is a mere shadow of what it was when it was Downtowner. This is what happens when a Corporation buys out a family run business and and changes it to profits over quality and customer satisfaction. They lessened wash services and raised prices, too bad. I paid for a car wash with Apple Pay and was promptly told I could not go through the car wash with my truck because I have a combo tool/fuel box on the truck and was referred as it being a 'new policy'. No signage referencing this limitation but worse, I already paid and they had no way to reimburse me. All digital payment with no way of getting my money back other than to call customer service because they cannot put it back on the card and carry no cash. Before this location was 'Mister' suck wash, I had been through many times and it was fine. Upon being refused, and unable to provide reimbursement on my card, and after sitting on the customer service number for over 20 minutes to coordinate getting $25 back on my card for services never rendered, they say I need to speak with the general manager. No dice. Told them I need to speak to a supervisor that can help me get my money back. Another 10 minute hold time, the customer service person came back on to help me to say my credit card will be reimbursed in 3 to 7 business days. Was unable to give me a reference number or anything. Just said it does not go through, to call back and ask for her, "Nicole, I'm the only person with that name in customer service"... :/ read more

I used the car wash this morning 7/30/22 one guy helped me with the credit card and one guy guided me onto the conveyor line, from there it's all automation no pressure washing like used to be done. I looked at the wheels on my Jeep before vacuuming the interior and the wheels were half washed when I came home I had to clean the rims in my garage. IMO the service stinks I'll not be back any time soon. just not worth it... read more

When this was Downtowner it was great. Since it changed to Mister Car Wash it is horrible. They don't have a detail area anymore yet you pay almost the detail price just for a car wash. The wash area is so generic, no one works inside anymore. I paid for top wash for my vehicle ($36) plus $4 to clean my mats. When it was Downtowner I could get a full detail with hand wax for $45!. I had to come home and clean my rims. The dash and center console was not whipped down. Never going back again. read more

Can you give less than one star? If so, I would. My truck would have been cleaner after driving in a rain storm. Areas like the rear tailgate was if I didn't even get a car wash, let alone a high dollar one. A complete waste of time and hard earned money. My truck was still completely filthy after my experience, I could have done a better job with an electric pressure washer without any soap. There was still clumps of dirt and dust all over, and it wasn't even that dirty to begin with, I just bought the truck factory new last week. I thought it was odd that there was no line (like there usually was when it was the Down Towner) but now I understand why. Shame on this business for using valuable resources after Hurricane Ian for something a squirt gun with some dawn dish soap could have done better, at least I would have a squirt gun to show for my money afterward. read more

This place is a dump. I don't need a 16-year-old standing at the screen trying to help me figure out which car wash I want, I'm more than capable of pushing buttons, and then they ask you if you want to leave a tip So I thought yeah fine those guys that stand out there hosing your car down probably don't make much and I left a tip only to drive around the corner and realize they don't even hose your car down any longer before you go into the car wash. Car comes out spotty, the vacuums are laying on the ground they barely work, I had to try 3 before I found a decent one, the machines are empty can't buy armor all wipes and Windex etc. nobody's walking around trying to help. They recently took over this business. I have been there twice now, and I won't be back. The just dusty car and mini van both did not get cleaned, and the vacuums are not being kept up with. Also, why are you asking for tips if you don't have someone doing a pre rinse of the vehicles that go through the wash? A tip is for personal service rendered, and you don't provide that. Everyone, be warned, Mister car wash is not providing the same level of cleaning as the previous owner. read more
