I showed up on a Saturday morning which was a busy time. I was in and out in 10min with a watch battery change. They were very informative and super nice. I needed my wedding ring resized after losing some weight. I dropped the ring Thursday afternoon and I was told it would be ready Monday morning. I just picked up my ring and it looks great and firs great. They were very nice, helpful and friendly. My wife and I have been to MISTER JEWELRY numerous times, she for an occasional jewelry chain repair or ring cleaning, I for battery replacement (which they do on the spot for $15). That is why I went recently, to have the battery in my old faithful Seiko replaced. No problem, except that when I got home, the hands were askew. The hour hand was at half past when the minute hand was at 12. I returned and pointed out the problem. The owner had the temerity to say, "It was that way when we got it." "I DON'T THINK SO. I have worn the watch for 15 years. I think I would have noticed that." He and I went round and round in a less than pleasant conversation until he finally said, "Our watchmaker comes in on Thursday. I'll have him adjust it - for free." "Okay." (Gee thanks for agreeing to return my watch to the condition it was when you simply replaced the battery.) I picked the watch up the following week and the hands were set properly, BUT after wearing it for less than a day, the second hand got stuck on the minute hand, so the watch stopped. You could see that the second hand impinged the minute hand. I brought it back. They had it for another week. When I picked it up, the same thing happened within a day, except it occurred at 1100 not 1200 as previously. I was tired of the problem, as I am sure they were tired of seeing me, so I took the watch elsewhere, paid $40 and it works fine. I won't be back. read more

This place was recommended by a family member who has used them for multiple items. I had to get a couple of watch batteries replaced and he was able to knock it out in 5 mins. It is my second time at Mister Jewelry. I come here to get my batteries replaced for my watches. They provide a one year warranty. The cost $6.50. I've dropped off two michael kor and a guess wrist watches. They only take about 5 mins to replace the battery and it's done. The customer service is always nice. This store also sells pre-owned jewelry with some unique looking pieces. I only took one star away because two of the women employees were not wearing mask the entire time. One was going back in forth between eating her lunch and helping customers and the other was getting off of her shift walking out without a mask. This was concerning because of how small the store is also. Otherwise it is a quaint shop and I will be returning. I just keep my mask on and step out to my car while they work on my watches :) read more

So I'm writing this review as I wait for a battery to be replaced on my watch and links to be taken out of another. I was greeted pretty fast even though there were plenty of customers in the store. Now that I'm looking, it seems that we are all waiting for the jeweler to work on our stuff. Since I'm waiting I browsed around the store and there were a few jewelry and watch cases. I seen some citizens watches and Pandora. The store itself isn't that big but they must stay pretty busy because they had 2 jewelers on staff. You can see them working on the jewelry right there in the store, so you know there's no funny stuff like changing diamonds that you hear some shops doing. Oh!! They're done! I'll be back to finish the review.......... Ok I'm back! They did an excellent job and wait time was fast! The price was cheaper than I expected to pay. Great service and fair pricing. Walked in today to get three new batteries for my watches. They did it right then while I waited, maybe ten minutes, and only charged $6 a battery! In my opinion that is a steal considering I have gone to other places that cost more and keep the watches for a few days to replace a battery. I use this place several years ago. So when I found it I thought I would use them again. Unfortunately I was reminded of why I stopped using them. The service is horrible. I just paid $30 for a claw that does not work. Does not work for the size chain I have. So now after paying the money they said they can charge me a lot more money to replace the chain or give me a smaller class. They handed it for me to check out. The gentleman who took the order in the first place kept saying I told you. I told you I told you that it would need to be smaller that it was difficult to use. No. He told me it needed to be smaller. After spending 10 minutes arguing with him right now I just accepted that I'm out $30 and I will not be coming back to them. read more

Went there to have several of my watches to get the batteries replaced. They charge $6 a watch but because I have more than 5 watches that needs the batteries replaced, they gave me a discount of which I ended up paying only $5 per watch! That's way better than going to Greenbrier Mall and pay four or five times the price. Their service was very professional, friendly and customer oriented including Ms. Marilou, who deals with the customers upfront.... Jake, the grandson of the owner, took care of my watches.
