I lost my keys to my apartment, and the technician came out within 40 minutes which was great. However he did not come out with a match to my current lock, and re-drilled a new lock with a new key. So I will not be able to use the same key that was issued to me from my apartment complex. It will all get worked out, but it will take me the extra time to go to the leasing office and tell them what happened. Hopefully I will not have to get another lock that matches the apartment complex lock and pay more money. I already have paid $325 tonight. Update: I went to the leasing office and dropped off the new key. They were fine with using the new lock. I had initially given this a 3 star rating, but am updating to a 4 star. It would have been a 5 star, but the hassle of having to go to the leasing office took away a star. I am very grateful that the locksmith came so quickly, but hopefully this 4 star instead of a 5 star will give them inspiration to bring a lock, for those living in apartments, that can be used with an apartment complex issued key . Recently moved into my new property and the previous owner did not give up all the keys - so for safety reasons, we had to get all our locks rekeyed. I reached out to a few businesses on yelp and this company gave the best quote of all, so I made an appointment with them to have my locks rekeyed. When it came to appointment time, noone showed up, so I called them. Turns out there was some miscommunication within their staff, and they apologized and quickly rescheduled for the next day and offered a lower price to make up for the inconvenience. In the next day, the scheduled lock smith, Johnny was communicative about the time he would arrive, and arrived at the time he said he would. He got to work immediately, and finished it all within 15 minutes. He was very apologetic for the mix up and was patient with all my questions about rekey (this was my first time doing a rekey).
