I hired John at MisterKey to replace the locks on an antique cabinet so that we could lock it. (The antique keys had been lost.) Initially after he gave me a quote, I thought it was expensive and shopped around. but I quickly learned that no one else could do it any cheaper or was wven willing to take this unique job. additionally, he was willing to come out very promptly, whereas another local locksmith I communicated with was hard to get a hold of and slow to respond. Needless to say, I realized Mister Key's quote was fair and I hired them! John found hardware to fit with the existing faceplates and installed it for us quickly! Now we have two elegant skeleton keys and an antique cabinet that locks, with no appearance of any updates or changes. I went to check the safe for my family's passports as we were set to travel internationally in the following days. I hit the first number on the safe and it died. I hired Mister Key to address an issue a friend was having with her door lock. He told me he'd be by at 11am. He calls at 11:10a and tells me he'd be there in 30 mins. My friend had to leave for work so she left her 86 year old mother, who can barely hear, to wait by the front door for him. An hour later he finally arrives, and I had to step into a Training session at work. During my Training he had called me 13 times in a matter of 15 minutes. Finally he texted and said he wanted his payment immediately. I sent him a quick text back telling him to stop calling and that I'd pay as soon as I was released from Training. He told me he doesn't do business that way, that he collects as soon as the job was finished. So, instead of waiting, he banged on the door frightening the elderly mother. I just happened to walk out Training when my friend called asking me to respond back to Mister Key because her mother was scared. Had I known that payment was due upon completion, I would've made arrangements for that. Mister Key was not punctual and he was absolutely horrible to work with. I will never use his service again, and I'll be sure post this review on our neighborhood FB page so everyone in our area can be warned. read more

Mister Key went above and beyond: he called in the morning to confirm the appointment, he showed up on time, he was even extremely nice to my dog!
