This place is closed. I was so disappointed after I drove 7.1 miles to get a 5 star chili dog that Mister Onions is no longer in business.

I got the steak taco salad, and what really sold me was that everything was chopped into perfect bite-size pieces :) It made eating it so easy and enjoyable. My friend ordered the birria tacos and whew... that cheese pull did not disappoint! I also loved the outdoor seating. It's cozy, quaint, and gives the perfect little setup to eat, chill, and enjoy the nice weather. This spot is officially on my return list!!

I can put down quite a bit of food so if I order the "three traditional tacos" then I'm usually left wanting just one more... so I typically go for the burrito to try and fill up a bit more. The chorizo is delicious and seasoned very well. The salsa verde that is served with each taco/burrito is also delicious. During winter they put up some "bubble" tents outside with heaters. They don't have much seating inside and if the restaurant is busy then you might be caught in a pickle... but I've been lucky enough to find a free table here reliably. I've been visited by out-of-state friends a few times and I typically introduce them to this restaurant (as one of my local favorites) and they usually love it.

The fish tacos, mahi-mahi a favorite of mine, were delightful! They gave an ample serving a fish cooked just right. The only thing I would change is swap out the big soft flour tortilla for two nice fresh corn ones. That said still delicious! I could've used a little bit of pickup de Gallo, something to brighten it a bit... but I used the limes provided and this gave me a bit of the brightness I craved. I also ordered a margarita to go and was stunned at how big and delicious it was! I should have asked if they can do salt on the side to take home. I'm excited to come back and try some of the other tacos. I was also so happy with the to go packaging! Nice work on using paper cartons!

I am choosing outdoor seating at this time during the pandemic. We sat at a little counter area with stools which was outside but accessed from inside. They also have tables outside on the sidewalk as well as inside seating. They have a small menu limited to tacos, chips and salsa or guacamole. They were out of fish tacos so I chose the Ancho Chicken which had charred corn, pickled shallots, cojita cheese and cumin cream. My son had Korean Beef with Curried Kimchee and my husband Carne Asada with avocado cream. Each order came with 2 tacos. All were tasty. My corn and diced chicken was hard to keep contained in the soft corn tortillas and kept spilling out. I had a house Margarita which came in two portion plastic bottle and a glass of ice on the side. It was good if not outstanding. It would have been nice to have something on the side of the plate whether it was rice, beans, salad or even a small cup of salsa. Granted they had chips and salsa for an additional charge but we didn't want to spend anymore. I look forward to seeing great if they expand the menu a bit. They earned the 4 stars for good flavors and very friendly service.

The cashier recommended the mahi-mahi and the chicken tacos. Both exceeded my expectations, but I think I prefer the mahi-mahi. The shredded chicken was juicy and tender though. The mini donuts were next level; they put carnival mini donuts to shame. I ordered the Boston cream because that's my favorite kind of doughnut. I inhaled these things; they were melt-in-your-mouth soft, sweet, and made to order so they were incredibly fresh. I can see people coming here in droves after a night of drinking, but everything was delicious sober and in the . I'm so glad I came here! Side note - I forgot to take a picture of the mahi-mahi taco and the donuts because I ate them so quickly. I ordered the chicken taco after I ate both of those.

There are a ton of holes in the wall that looks like someone had the intention of repairing and painting over and then just lost interest. Food? Looked really promising!! Burritos were pretty massive so I was pretty excited. They come out looking good, well prepared as far as the tortilla isn't coming apart. They did a good job putting together a burrito that wouldn't fall apart. But that's it. The rice is prepackaged, stale, fake yellow rice that has a weird, off putting flavor, I got carnitas and my wife got carne asada, neither tasted like anything at all. The carnitas ( a slow roasted pork ) honestly tasted like a pork tenderloin that had been thrown in a crock pot with zero seasoning. The bits in my burrito were grey and honestly off putting. I had really high hopes. Went out of my way because I have heard pretty decent things about this place. Saying I was underwhelmed is about as complimentary as I can be.
