I went here for the first time this past Saturday with a friend, and overall it was a great experience. The space is really beautiful and intimate, which made for a nice, relaxed vibe. The live R&B band and DJ were a highlight, and I loved that the crowd skewed a bit older--it made the atmosphere feel comfortable and welcoming. The only downside was the service. After getting our drinks, we waited quite a while to order, and there were long gaps before food arrived. If you're old enough to remember the late 70's disco pickup bars, that's this, only for older people, and the place is packed Saturday nights. Great live band, packed dance floor, women that obviously made a real effort to look their best, and men that did not, waitresses were phenomenal given the packed crowd, it was actually kind of fun and took me back to a long time ago. Of course my pickup lines have gone from, "please allow me to look into your beautiful eyes for just a moment" to "so, you take blood pressure medication too"? WTH! We arrived at 8 pm in hopes to get a seat. We paid entry fee and every damn empty table had reserved on it! We went to the lady who quickly took our entry fee and asked if we needed to pay for a seat. She responded YES...online! We were not about to stand all evening! We were not offered a refund as we complained and left! Good business would tell customers there are NO SEATS AVAILABLE and then charge a cover charge. No take your money and gladly watch you exit! Ambiance is great live band was very good but the three stars is because the drinks were awful. Super strong but in a bad way. Had to ask for each drink to be modified after. I thought that once I just got a different bartender it would be ok.. nope Please please figure out your pours the business is definitely losing money in this area because our party stopped ordering drinks because they were so bad. Mistys used to be jumping on Friday nights, the djs plays crappy on Friday and Saturday nights,all they do is mix and cut the good songs so short!!,been going to Misty's for years, always a great time,not anymore. The better djs play on Thursday and Sunday And some of the guests, djs that come on Friday and Saturday are much better. Sad to see what's happening to Misty's. You shouldn't fall asleep in a nightclub on a Saturday night. The positives are the servers and bartender. And the management team,please do something about Friday and Saturday. it was a good size lot, didn't have a problem finding parking. This spot is located inside of the double tree hotel. We came on a Friday night at 10:30 and there still was a pretty good crowd. Not too bad of a wait. 15 dollar cover charge for both men and women. Definitely an older crowd like the reviews had listed but they play really good playlists to dance too. Drinks were ok, very light on the alcohol. The reason why I'm giving 4 stars was that we were always greeted with a smile when walking in. To check in and the security guard. Be extra careful! They are all con artists!!! Check your receipts before signing. They charge you extra and add tip on your bill, and the bill would say tip is not included. They want you to tip on top of 18% they already charged you, plus couple of the drinks you didn't order. I called them out snd the manager wasn't happy with me about it. read more

We arrived about 8:30am, no line to get in, found a table towards the back which was perfect. The DJ was playing good music. My husband went to the bar to get drinks, about $30 for 2, it's about right for a club. We had a great time, drinking, dancing, relaxing, enjoying the band. The people there were having a good time! If you don't want to take something home with you that you didn't invite, don't go to Misty's Lounge! We were recently there for a birthday celebration, and even in the dimly lit space, we could see a very large cockroach crawling under our table. Now, mind you, the place was very crowded. Imagine what the bar area, kitchen, and food prep/storage areas were like when there wasn't enough room for this cockroach and it was forced out into the open table area. We reported it to the Food and Beverage manager, Yohan, but he seemed ambivalent about it, as if it was normal. We also sent an email to the DoubleTree's general manager, but received no response. I suppose cleanliness is not a priority for this establishment. The service was awful as well. Not a place I will ever return to! read more

Misty's is a great place to go and have a good time,now they have different djs every night. The one on Thursday I don't care for,Thursday night was my favorite night to go,but this dj is not for me. He plays great songs but cuts them to a minute or two!! Now, the dj on Saturday and Sunday, kick ass!! Love the servers. They are so nice and polite!! I'm glad they have stopped playing all that Latin music, I like it, but not all night,I don't go on Thursday as much as I once did,the dj on Thursday plays for kids all that mixing shit is not working for me,lot of people don't like it. read more

First time visiting. Drove from L.A. Double tree hotel I think it's next door. They also have steak house. The set up is pretty cool. The crowd is okay. Place is clean but not the bathroom. Only reason why I dropped a star because the female bartender charged me for don julio which I ordered and cheated and poured me well tequila I saw her and told her that's not right! Basically what others mention is accurate. Older crowd... lots of grouchy patrons (unfortunately). Crowd gets there early and mostly dissipates before closing time... however even when they're not at capacity they still make a big deal about only letting certain amounts of people in every 15 mins (I think they believe it makes it seem more exclusive, but really it just makes patrons annoyed). The atmosphere is cute, kept maintained and the few food items we ordered were good-- we were celebrating 2 birthdays and they did offer them some delicious compensated dessert options which was nice. Our server was really sweet and though she had a lot of tables, she really was able to balance her attention, all things considered. The drinks were fairly strong and not overly priced based on what we are used to in Southern California. The band was good... the DJ played tunes mostly popular in the early 2000ish... which fit the age range. The hotel is quaint, rooms were clean and sitting on the balcony is nice, overlooking the pool-- rates were reasonable. Overall, I'd probably give it a lower ranking if it weren't for our server and the clean club... but I can't really knock them for their patrons being grouchy... 2 stars deducted due to the cover charge and the silly 15 minute admission. read more

We used to love Misty's and always come in dress code; however hubby decided to wear a fashionable t-shirt. The reason he decided to wear a t-shirt ( think black with a guess symbol and red rose on it with black jeans). The reason he thought he could wear it is that one of the we were here in dress code because there was a dude let in dressed exactly like a 90's meme: white tea baggy jeans and a baseball cap but he was a white guy or white appearing. Thursday Night, Got to Misty's a little late. Only seating was one long table in the back. Sat there and hung my coat on the chair. A group of men asked could we share the table and I said ok, We talked a little and they stated they were from Montana, in town for a business meeting with there company. Friendly enough! Went to dance and when I returned all the seats at the table were taken. Their friends had come down from their rooms and over took the table. I asked the female sitting in my seat (my coat still hanging on MY chair), could I have my seat back and she said "NO", After conversating with her for quite some time she still refused to move. I went and got security who turned on me and asked me to find somewhere else to sit even though I showed him my coat with my ID in the pocket and it was still hanging on the chair. The guys I had talked to earlier pretended not to know what was going on. I went to dance again to separate myself from the situation and decide what to do. The 3 guys came to the dance floor while I was dancing and apologized for the b*tch who wouldn't get out of my seat. They said she was their boss and they could only apologize for her behavior. Misty's is an excellent entertainment lounge inside the Hilton Hotel. It is a premier nightclub with live bands 5 nights a week!! The club is always busy so I recommend making reservations for a party or getting there early with a small group to get a seat and order delicious food. This is an awesome venue! There were people from all age groups and nationalities. The DJ and the Tre'sure band just kept me on the dance floor the whole time. I was amazed that the gentleman would ask a lady to dance. Sad to say I haven't seen that in a long time, I was blown away when the DJ played a slow song I mean people were out there slow dancing!!
