Came here for my birthday with a pre reserved section! Love thqt you can adjust your reservation 2 days before so you can get refunded on any drops. [[HIGHLIGHT]]What a fun place! They have options for you to take pictures they display on monitors all night and if you have goofy friends like I do, they may write messages up there too.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It did take all night for me to get called up to get serenaded/roasted awesome of my friend had already left but it was a fun night![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Losing a star since they didn't play my sister's song and didn't mention it when they were down the last ones. Also be aware there is a service charge they add to the food so don't accidentally overtip!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]This place is so much fun--definitely a "the more, the merrier" kind of spot![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I honestly wish they'd expand and bring a location to Orange County or even LA County... Anaheim or Fullerton would be amazing. We drove in from Orange County and ate beforehand since we weren't sure how the food situation worked with our 9:30 reservation. Turns out, they actually do have a solid food menu, but no regrets--this place is all about the experience. [[HIGHLIGHT]]When we walked in, the energy was already through the roof. People were vibing, singing along, and just in great moods all around.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The setup is awesome--kind of like a neon-lit bar with two pianos facing each other center stage and a drummer in the middle.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] And let me just say, that drummer was an absolute beast. While the pianists rotated in and out, he held it down the entire time without missing a beat. Service did take a little while to get started--we waited about 15-20 minutes before anyone came by--but once they did, everything picked up and stayed consistent. The staff kept checking in and made sure we were taken care of. One thing that really stood out to me (especially coming from a hospitality background) was how they handled a situation where someone in the front row got sick. It could've easily ruined the vibe, but the staff jumped in immediately, cleaned everything thoroughly, replaced the table, and sanitized the area quickly and professionally. Super impressive. Overall, I had such a great time and would absolutely go back. Huge shoutout to the pianists--they were incredibly entertaining--and major props again to that drummer. Now if the owner could bring this concept to Orange County... that would be next level!

Came here on a Friday night with my husband and a friend. It was a first time for all of us so we didn't know what to except. Cover charge to get in was $10 a person. Service was great. Food and drinks were alright. The show is based off of the audience and their song requests. They explain how it works throughout the show. Basically there is a sheet of paper on each table where you can write down your song request. Requests are played with cash or Venmo tips. We thought the piano dual was awesome. All of the pianists are incredibly talented and can play just about any song on the spot. It definitely contained lots of adult humor so if you're not into that then this might not be for you. Overall, it was enjoyable and something different to do.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]This place is the best of both worlds. A restaurant and somewhat of a karaoke bar.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Book your table ahead of time to guarantee a spot. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We had a party of 6 and was able to sit pretty close to the pianos.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The playing and singing were great.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]But be prepared for them to roast you if you get on stage.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]We all had a great time and couldn't stop laughing.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] This will forever be a core memory for those in my party. The food was decent. I wouldn't say it was memorable. But with a few drinks and some of the classic songs being sung you'll have a wonderful time and not really care about the food. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This is good for groups of 4-6 and for celebrations.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We're looking forward to go back soon.

You might think that a place like this on a Thursday might be a smidge less entertaining than a Friday or Saturday. But worry not! The guests were all in and so were the musicians. The back-and-forth between the different table groups and the musicians was an absolute blast! And these musicians - just WOW! The music selections we sent up ran the gamut between 50s standards, to 80s, to country, to rap, to today's hits. There was nothing these extremely talented folks couldn't take on well. My favorites were a crazy incredible take on Devil Went Down to Georgia and a punk version of Blank Space. Clever, witty as heck, amazingly talent, and personable banter with the audience made for lightning in a bottle kind of night. It's a pay to play system, with monetary amounts creating the lineup. So, bring some of the cold, hard stuff. Out of green? No worries! They got you with Venmo. Wings, salads, coconut shrimp - all tasty. Drinks? Yes please! Our server, Kelsey, was 100% amazing. Haven't been here before, but I'm sure gonna be back. It was a heck of a good time.

I went to Piano Piano for the first time this past Saturday for a friend's birthday. We were a party of 18 and they have 4 grown adults per table, we were all squeezed together, not much space at all for everyone's food/drinks. Do not come here if you are not willing to spend some money. To start off there was a $15 reservation fee per person , the drinks are kind of pricey and not that great, they want you to pay for song request, the more you pay the sooner they play/perform your song and if someone out bids you they can stop your song, I get it it's "fun" but all I could see if $$$. The guys were for the most part pretty funny but I don't think I would be going back anytime soon.

A fun, live music experience to help celebrate a girl friend's birthday. We all had such a great time! My first time at a love music piano bar. We did eat dinner before the venue, but we could have opted to enjoy their bar menu. The musicians are all fun, witty, spontaneous, and able to work around the crowd to liven us all up. Highly recommend bringing cash to tip for special requests. They do have Venmo available as well. My least favorite part was how an audience member can bypass your special request/tip and make the musicians stop playing your song. My most favorite part was their exceptional service though, from the reservations, table reserved for our group, and their cocktails. They really helped make our birthday celebration so special. Even entertained our guest of honor with a special song. Fantastic and FUNtastic staff! We even had a round of a special interactive game occurring between music sets and it really kept us all entertained throughout the night. Thank you to their wonderful staff for a great evening. Definitely recommend for any occasion or a fun date night. It's in a separate building in the same lot as the Doubletree Hotel (if I recall correctly). Large groups, I definitely recommend making reservations online/call and note your occasion as their staff is very attentive and have great communication via email, based on what I experienced.

    Drinks were on point!

Can I take a small cake if I'm celebrating a birthday? Thanks!

    Yes!

Can you make reservations for 2 people?

    Yes on the website

Do you have to be fully vaccinated? Can you get a negative test?

Unfortunately because it's stupid liberal LA county you have to be fully vaccinated.

On Taco Tuesday, are tacos still only a dollar?

I don't believe Piano Piano is doing Taco Tuesday or even Thirsty Thursday just yet. I think after being open a few weeks they may restart it again.

    Are you closed?

Hi Connie! We finally opened on June 15th!!

Why does it say open on Yelp still?

I apologize for that. It was updated incorrectly. Once entertainment is allowed on LA County we…

Have they reopened yet? The website states they are temporarily closed but the reservation system is available.

They are still closed with no reopening date, but they are doing Instagram/Facebook lives every so often!

What is the age requirement on Saturday night?

Hi Danielle! We are always 21 and over.

    Are Sunday's pretty good?

There are no dueling pianos. It is karaoke night. It is also 1/2 off drinks too!!

Is there a cover charge on the weekends?

Yes there is a cover. But it's only $10

Do you have to have a reservation?

No but reservations for big parties are encouraged so that they can be properly staffed

    What's going on Thursday nights?

$6 teas(long islands, AMF, La water) $6 appetizers too!

Are you open 4th of July?

    No it's not

On the nights that they have karaoke, do they also do the dueling pianos?

No. Sunday monday are just karaoke!

Once you place a reservation..Do you have to pay cover plus seat charge?

Only if you come past the reservation time then you will have to pay cover charge.

Does it get really hot in there?

It can get a little warm, but they are usually good with the A.C. and bringing new drinks!

Waiter Manuel. This…read moreis a review reflected on you, solely. Being kind is the moral of the story, from the beginning you were passive agressive with your comments and tone. Being in a party of 4 girls coming from high tea, we were dressed in elegant dresses, first comment was asking if we were coming from church, followed by eye flutters, short "okay" with an upward inflation to a joke about the day, an impatient comment about hurrying up and trying the wine while we were talking, asked for water when we were out, were left to pour the rest of our wine, didn't ask how the food was all the while was attentive to the table behind us, the cherry on top comment was when we were discussing the bill at the end, he was hovering at the table behind ours, then when we were ready, we asked to split the bill into 2, my portion on mine and the rest on another card, he then said "this isn't like a drive through, we can't do it that way" so I asked him to explain his comment, cause it was passive agressive and rude. After he wasnt able to becuase he wasnt expecting me to call out his rude comment, I had to then break it down and specify what I had ordered, he then sold "okayyyy....so how much, cause we don't itemize?" I had to again express for him to specify how they do it cause he has still yet to explain where his attitude is coming from and explain how they do their check splits, from my understanding it just felt like he wanted to play dumb and make me to the math, one I did he was like "ohh, okay" should have asked for the manager but we paid and left, I hasnt had this experience before being a returning customer, but he needs an attitude adjustment as his attitude was completely out of pocket. Do better Manuel, you alone got your place of work a 1 star. The rest of the staff was kind, facility beautiful and food and wine was good. This restaurant is not reflected in the 1 star.

Honestly thought it was the bar that we came inside. First impression, why did we need reservations.... Since we didn't know the hidden entrance. Well, it's a cool concept once we entered. There's a dress code so be advised. What I found out was the entrance of the speakeasy was through a phone booth that next to the pool table of Roxanne's bar. Once reservations is made, you'll received an email with a password to enter. Enter phone booth and to connect to the inside and they'll open the door for you. We had the first reservations I believe they opened at 7pm. We were the first group to arrive. As it was my first time, we had ordered bar food and were waiting for it inside the main bar. So half an hour was used from our time limit. The speakeasy, dark and moody but perfect for the place. Special crafted cocktails by the bartenders which were great. They also have food as well, found out later. We did try the meat pie, which it was just ok. Basically an empanadas, the pickle veggies accompanied it was my favorite. It was good but nothing major to rave about. The drinks were quite nice and tasty. What they offered on the menu did have a load of good choices. Tables scattered throughout as well as bar seating. There's a piano which maybe used for live music. Overall, the moody speakeasy vibe was great. Friendly staff and bartender made some great drinks. What we had to snack on, the meat pie was just ok. A fairly good amount of tables occupied and the bar area was very much utilized. One person's bartending while another was out on the floor taking orders. Dirty martini extra olives for the win. Quite tasty with either vodka or gin. I mean for the price, it was nice. The service was great and everyone was pretty friendly. Bar area is well maintained as well as both inside and the outside patio. Only downfall, the show tunes being shown was a little underwhelming. As always, the room was alive with energy under the glow of carefully adjusted lighting and the dark woods that create just the right feeling of being hidden away from the world. My bartender, Nelson, deftly whipped up one of the best-tasting Sidecars that I've had in quite some time. The strength of the cognac was there, but quite properly balanced with tartness from the orange and lemon, and the sweetness of the sugar rim. An excellent, light cocktail to pair with uptempo jazz. While I wasn't hungry on night #1, I did find myself peckish on night #2, and decided to order a Shrimp Cocktail and Parker House Rolls. Not quite the indulgent meals of previous visits, but very satisfying nonetheless. Those Parker House Rolls emerge hot and crusty on the outside, yeasty and pillowy inside. The light, buttery flavor of the bread is nicely contrasted by the pleasingly pungent olive tapenade served on the side. However, they also serve some deliciously rich whipped butter with the rolls, and that's an indulgence all its own. The Shrimp Cocktail is another example how precise and talented this kitchen is despite having to serve the entire room during a very small window of time. 4 Jumbo (possibly colossal) shrimp come creatively plated with the usual accompaniments, and are meaty enough to eat with fork & knife. Perfectly poached before being chilled, the Shrimp had just the right texture, and the fresh, mildly briny flavor that lets you know the food comes from the very best purveyors. Yes, it was an enjoyable, satisfying small meal with crisp cocktails and great music. Wednesday nights can't really get any better.
