Super fun place! Very entertaining, loud but a good vibe overall. Located in the city of Claremont, Piano Piano is a dueling piano bar located right next to the Double Tree Hotel. There's plenty of parking so I don't think it would be a struggle no matter time of night. The place itself is your average Joe bar. Plenty of seating both tables and booths. They are 21+ up only! They also are reservation priority! Service was great! Our server Jared was very attentive to our party. Constantly checking on us, making sure we had everything we needed. He made sure our glasses weren't empty. He did a great job. Entertainment was awesome! The piano players are super talented, funny and lively. They had great stage presence! I really enjoyed it! Food was average bar food, but let's be real, they're not known for their food. We had the cheddar bacon curly fries and they're the type of food you want once you start drinking alcohol. This place is so much fun--definitely a "the more, the merrier" kind of spot! I honestly wish they'd expand and bring a location to Orange County or even LA County... Anaheim or Fullerton would be amazing. We drove in from Orange County and ate beforehand since we weren't sure how the food situation worked with our 9:30 reservation. Turns out, they actually do have a solid food menu, but no regrets--this place is all about the experience. When we walked in, the energy was already through the roof. People were vibing, singing along, and just in great moods all around. The setup is awesome--kind of like a neon-lit bar with two pianos facing each other center stage and a drummer in the middle. And let me just say, that drummer was an absolute beast. While the pianists rotated in and out, he held it down the entire time without missing a beat. Service did take a little while to get started--we waited about 15-20 minutes before anyone came by--but once they did, everything picked up and stayed consistent. The staff kept checking in and made sure we were taken care of. One thing that really stood out to me (especially coming from a hospitality background) was how they handled a situation where someone in the front row got sick. It could've easily ruined the vibe, but the staff jumped in immediately, cleaned everything thoroughly, replaced the table, and sanitized the area quickly and professionally. Super impressive. Came here for my birthday with a pre reserved section! Love thqt you can adjust your reservation 2 days before so you can get refunded on any drops. What a fun place! They have options for you to take pictures they display on monitors all night and if you have goofy friends like I do, they may write messages up there too. Food and drinks were alright. The show is based off of the audience and their song requests. They explain how it works throughout the show. We had a party of 6 and was able to sit pretty close to the pianos. The playing and singing were great. But be prepared for them to roast you if you get on stage. We all had a great time and couldn't stop laughing. This will forever be a core memory for those in my party. The food was decent. I wouldn't say it was memorable. I recently visited Piano Piano for a last stop on a Saturday date night with my fiancée. We arrived with only a couple hours left in the night for the pianos. I believe they begin at 7pm and end at midnight. We almost didn't go thinking we may have missed all the fun but we were both so glad we did! Upon arriving we had our IDs checked by the security before entering the building who were extremely welcoming. The entrance fee was $10 per person which we found to be such a great price considering how much fun we had inside! We got asked what our seating preference was, assuming they meant if we wanted to sit close or away from the stage. We let them know, just somewhere comfortable, and got a nice comfy booth. I'm sure that can't always be the case, especially at the beginning of a busy night, but we appreciated them even asking. Once we sat down a server came up to us with some waters almost immediately and asked if we wanted to order drinks, but seeing how it was our first time we asked for a little bit of time to look at the menu. It didn't take long for her to circle back and check in on us and take our first order. We aren't big drinkers so we always worry about ordering drinks and not liking them, however we were so amazed at how delicious they were. They weren't overly sweet and had just enough alcohol, not too much to that point where you almost dread taking the next sip. We ended up ordering a jolly rancher shot, gummy bear drinks and a candy caliente sandia on the rocks. The latter being my personal favorite! I want to return just for another one of those drinks. The price for drinks was decent considering what you would pay for a drinks at a bar where you would have to push your way through and here they take your order and bring them to you, no pushing and shoving involved. Needless to say, our server was great! Checking in on us, but not overly hovering! We seen some people order food and later decided we wanted an appetizer, however the kitchen had closed as they do have a last call, our mistake for taking too long to decide. Our server apologized even though it was our mistake for missing last call and offered us chips and salsa. She was honestly great, even though I'm sure she had already had a long night of running back and forth, she still went out of her way when she didn't need to, we were already happy with the night. Lastly, the piano players! Bravo! They truly make the night one to remember! Playing all types of requests all night and making sure all the requests get played. You can pay to personally request a song and you can also outbid the request and have them "STOP THAT SONG" and play another. We were a party of 18 and they have 4 grown adults per table, we were all squeezed together, not much space at all for everyone's food/drinks. Do not come here if you are not willing to spend some money. To start off there was a $15 reservation fee per person , the drinks are kind of pricey and not that great, they want you to pay for song request, the more you pay the sooner they play/perform your song and if someone out bids you they can stop your song, I get it it's "fun" but all I could see if $$$. This was our first time here, and unfortunately, we were disappointed with the level of service. We had a 6:30 PM reservation and were seated promptly, which was appreciated. However, it took about 20 minutes before our waitress approached our table, despite there being a minimal crowd at the time and her appearing to manage only a few tables. Throughout the evening, we repeatedly had to seek out staff just to place drink and food orders. On one occasion, food was brought to our table that was not ours, and after waiting another 10 minutes, we again had to find someone to notify them of the mistake. When our platter finally arrived, it was missing the four sipping sauces that were listed as included, which required yet another attempt to locate our waitress. At times, our waitress could be seen in the kitchen on her phone, while two other servers working nearby were consistently attentive and visibly hustling all night. We stayed until 11 PM and once again had to search for her in order to receive our check. Overall, about 6 out of 8 interactions required us to actively look for our server. We did eat dinner before the venue, but we could have opted to enjoy their bar menu. The musicians are all fun, witty, spontaneous, and able to work around the crowd to liven us all up. Highly recommend bringing cash to tip for special requests. They do have Venmo available as well. My least favorite part was how an audience member can bypass your special request/tip and make the musicians stop playing your song. BEST NIGHT OUT Checked in shortly before the 8 PM start time. Cover was $10. We were seated almost immediately, but unfortunately our server did not come up to our table to introduce themselves nor to take our order. The pianists were so talented and they were great at keeping it fun. Their banter with the audience and with each other was very entertaining. The parking is small for the bar and we had to go around in circles to finally get into the structure to park. The songs they play are based on the audience requests with money attached. This is absolutely my new favorite place! I went to Piano Piano for the first time in August 2025 to celebrate my birthday and I had an unbelievable amount of fun! We had a party of 10 so I made reservations in advance and the online reservation system was very easy and the reservation policy was well explained (note: you'll have to pay cover charges in advance). They also send you a few email reminders in case you need to make any changes, which is nice. Our server was incredible and checked on us constantly. Obviously the best part of a piano bar is the performers and the 3 piano players they had were AMAZING. They kept the crowd going all night and were so much fun, and so talented! They made it a true party. They did songs from every genre (special shout out to Patty who rapped more than once!)and if you were brought up on stage for a special occasion, which I was, they have some dirty fun with you. We were very disappointed because we had been to a great dueling piano bar in the gas lamp district in San Diego, and were excited about getting to hear some great music, sing along, and drink some beers. I'll start with the good. The food was actually better than expected for bar food so that was a nice surprise. The piano playing was really good too. The problem was when the piano players opened their mouths. There were three different ones in rotation tonight. One of them was a really good vocalist, the second was average, and the third couldn't carry a tune. My main issue though was the multiple disgusting simulated sex acts and references by all the piano players in the first 30 minutes of the show. I'm not easily offended, but it was ridiculous, and not what I went to see. I definitely would not recommend this to anyone. We guzzled our 1st drink, got up and left.
