It was our first time but not the last time. This place is a hidden gem in Rancho Cucamonga. We tried few drinks and they were all amazing. The only snacks they have is plenty of amazing popcorn on the house. Nice intimate place

They do not have food. It is a speakeasy cocktail bar. But let me tell you it is fabulous! We got the honor of working with the mixologist Griffin who totally outed himself with the mango foam on a drink, I let him create. We were all pleased with all of our cocktails they were well balanced well put together. It's really cute inside a New Mexico inspired theme with cow print a beautiful bar and decorated for the holidays. I will definitely be back. There was more on the menu. I wanted to try.

Fantastic new speakeasy that opened up 8 months ago! So excited that a spot like this is in my hometown. The layout and decor was very thoughtfully planned and the service was fast and easy. Drinks here were excellent and presentable. Sorry for not remembering the names of the drinks. The highlight for me personally was the popcorn. It was covered in a layer of spices making it really addicting and perfectly paring with the drinks! Will definitely be coming back soon!!

I came here with a girl friend on a Saturday night with reservations for 7:30pm. The entrance is to the side of Native Son. It's easy to spot because there's a host stand in front of the door with a sign. We were told there would be a 90 minute time limit but we stayed far past that and they seemed to be fine with it as long as we continued to order drinks. The inside is dimly lit with a bit of a modern southwestern flair to it. I personally think the big window/exit door at the end takes away from the "speakeasy" vibe but not a big deal at all. We were given unlimited popcorn, which was great to snack on with our drinks. We both ordered from the menu at first and I got the Blue Sky, which I thought was too sweet for my taste. For our next rounds, we opted to do bartender's choice and our drinks came out excellently. I told him I typically like gin and that I wanted something refreshing and herbal, and I got just that! I would recommend trying bartender's choice during your visit.

Sundowner and blue sky. Blue sky was on the sweeter side.

This speakeasy through a random door was a gem. Interior cozy, modern rustic with a touch of industrial chic. Drinks were served with unlimited amount of popcorn. Service was quick, bartenders were friendly and drinks on menu along with bartenders choice were all soooo good. Definitely try the bartenders choice! Wish they open till 2am!

This is a new business, I believe they said opened just a little over a year. The place was empty but I gotta tell you, I really liked the vibe. The bartenders and other staff were very friendly and the drinks were great. The decor is kinda funky and interesting. We were there about 2 hours and it really had a welcoming atmosphere. I fully intend to make it my local watering hole and you should check it out. I'm sure they'll appreciate the business.

I first saw this place on Instagram and had to check it out. It's such a unique spot that's easy enough to find. Absolutely LOVED the drinks and the popcorn was addicting. The service was super nice too. Definitely looking forward to coming back

The ambiance is everything! We made a 9pm reservation so it was not busy! Only 2 other tables in there at that time. Drinks were great and original. Got a classic lemon drop and ended up getting another because it was so balanced. This is so great for a romantic date night!

Incredible drinks and excellent service. Ambiance is cool and relaxing. Highly recommend. *only caveat, make sure you eat before you get there, otherwise those delicious drinks will knock you out.

My friends and I went just as it opened and I was able to make a reservation online. I believe they do just drinks and not food (a lot of food options in haven city market). They had popcorn on the table but it was stale and really seasoned with a lot of pepper. The drinks were ok for the price, I didn't feel like they were super special. My friends wanted a dirty martini and our sever convinced them to get the house special take on a dirty martini and they were not a fan.

The ambiance was inviting. Servers pleasant. We we're disappointed to learn popcorn was the only food. Other than that, drinks were good..

Such an amazing experience from start to finish! The staff is so friendly, reservations were easy to make! The drinks blew us away! If you don't find something on the menu, always just ask for a surprise! The on menu cocktail we tried was "blue sky" I believe. Definitely for the folks for who like it a little sweeter! Overall this is definitely going to be the new hang out spot in Rancho! Make reservations ASAP!!

Spicy Marg. Delicious, pretty and just the right amount of spice!

First time here after being a long time Haven house customer but also one who loves a good speakeasy! So let's first talk about speakeasies. Speakeasies, a time prohibition era. Where liquor was forbidden. It was candlelit, moody and secretive. Coming into this speak easy, I get the concept. Loved the decorative aesthetics HOWEVER, I was hoping for more of a secretive moody vibe than what I walked into. It wasn't bright but, I felt it lacked the intimacy that, I guess I was expecting, given it was a speakeasy. The candlelit adobe fireplace was def my fav! A vibe! The wall to wall mocha cabinetry felt a little "kitchen vibe" It didn't match with the delicious drinks being slayed! Bartenders are chefs kiss! Attentive, quick, efficient and delivers an esthetically pleasing drink that also taste delicious! Zero complaints there. The Guy at the front door however, seemed a little cold and unwelcoming. ( Asian guy. Idk name just dry. Not mean, not rude but dry) hostess was very sweet. Hostess sat us to our spots where popcorn and already poured water was set. To me, I personally would like to see a fresh glass poured to know water has not been sitting at the bar for lord knows how long. Idk just a weird concept. I get it, but just odd. Pop corn was good but a bit stale. They made. A fresh batch and was 100% all in. All in all, A great spot, great spot for the drinks, staff was attentive as mentioned just the ambiance was missing what the deliverance. Have some suggestions from a design perspective if interested. Great spot and can see it being such a great addition to growing community!

Suki telling us about this funky liquor. He made a fabulous summer drink with it after.

After our party of six chatted over cocktails and preyed on pupus, we moved to a "secret" room tucked in the back of Stowaway and walked into a Belly Of The Beast. The founders and co-owners of Stowaway, Leonard Chan and Dominic Iapello, created this extension to the tiki bar with a wildly interesting Pinocchio theme and the famed encounter with Monstro the whale all the while serving the same offerings in Stowaway but with also an exclusive limited menu just for this adventure. With its proximity to Disneyland and its Enchanted Tiki Room, with the very niche underground-like society of tiki culture they found a consistent customer base and the thrill of island escapism through colorful cocktails, pleasurable pupus, tropical trimmings, and nostalgic know-how. How would my belly handle the beastly drinks concocted here!? PURCHASE(S) Gepetto's Last Words ($16.00): Intrigued by the cocktail's name, this elixir was crafted with Fid Street Gin, tangerine, creme de violette, lemon, and cucumber, it was a citrusy refreshing sweet drink that was decorated with bright yellow petals. It was nice, but for whatever reason it just didn't quite hit the spot. [ONION RINGS/STRAWS/STRINGS ALERT - 4.0 of 5.0 STARS] Onion Rings ($9.00): A decent portion with rings of medium to large sizes, these were hot, dark golden browned, crunchy, and had a slight tendency to crumble when bitten into while the onion ring (sweet Maui!) rarely pulled out at times. They were lightly oily while the catsup wasn't needed but used. SERVICE While in Stowaway, we informed our male server to let us know when we were allowed to enter the belly. Once inside and situated, we had the place and bartender to ourselves. After we all perused the menu, we placed our orders, and everything arrived within ten minutes. The rest of the time was spent chatting, picture taking, and our bartender checked in on us also giving a Dole Whip taster. All was casual, chill, and somewhat on island time - aloha and mahalo! PARKING (FREE): They shared a medium-sized private lot with several other businesses who were closed at this time with plenty of spots - 'nuff said. ATMOSPHERE, DÉCOR, AMBIENCE "Hidden" inside Stowaway which was located within a strip mall, the entire theme was based on the Pinocchio story, the interlude in time spent inside Monstro, and as we entered it felt like the beginning of the Disneyland "Storybook" ride as you road a canal boat into the mouth and sharp teet of a whale. There were several marionettes (appropriate and non-appropriate) that hung from the ceiling and belly walls, along with other Disneyesque memorabilia, a few sitting booths, and a tiny bar at the end of the roo. No natural lighting whatsoever while an assortment of extremely low-lit electric lights and table candles glowed. There were no TVs while I couldn't recall any background music. ATTIRE Although I was actually dressed appropriately for the occasion in an aloha shirt, linen pants, and flip-flops, this place was totally casual, so a t-shirt, boardshorts, and flip-flops would suffice. OVERALL Belly Of The Beast was an adventurous fun evening with friends, it left me feeling childlike with the need to watch "Pinocchio", and I couldn't wait to return to try more of their awesome-soundling elixirs. I generally loved all-things Disneyana, and this new wrinkle, albeit probably not approved by the mouse ears brass, caught my fancy. My one drink was tasty but just didn't hit the right spot, the onion rings were very good, the prices were a tad elevated, the atmosphere was awesome, and the service was friendly and professional. They had an extremely limited menu, and there was some doubt whether or not ordering from the Stowaway menu was an option. Plus, I always preferred to support small local mom & pop businesses. I found very good value based on the prices, service, and experience noted above (TOTAL paid experience was around $27.00 BEFORE any discounts and/or tip). And, they accepted my credit card of choice... AMEX! 4.0 STARS

There is a 2 drink minimum purchase (per guest) and each drink is $20+ so it can add up. I'm more of a beer person but some of the drinks were delicious. There was one that tasted like Christmas morning (cinnamon, clove, milky) and another drink that had popping boba that was also fun. If you're a butterfinger or peanut butter fan, there was one drink that tasted like it (you'll see it on the drink menu). I wouldn't say the drinks were strong. They do a good job of enforcing the theme. They had a "Yeti" come out and interact with the tables. Good for photo ops. They also had a magician doing a few tricks, and I enjoyed that the most. The place was kept fairly chilly! Even the bathrooms had jokes and signage on the walls that alluded to the alps. Overall a great time. Small venue but pretty chill. Can be pricey. Take a sweater. The drinks were delicious, and I loved that there were heaters on the patio (though they did get very hot at times). Our server was so kind and brought us a celebratory drink. I do wish there were more explanations with the beverages, especially for the Paid Vacation as most people will not realize you're supposed to bite into the buzz button for the tingly sensation. They made us feel super comfortable and it was so so fun talking to them. I ordered the nina fresa which is their strawberries & cream drink, and WOW it was delicious! I love a fruity sweet drink and that definitely hit the spot. I ordered two!! I don't remember what my friends got but they were good as well. We also got a creme brulee for a birthday and it was delicious and perfectly caramelized. Overall such a great and memorable experience, and definitely one of my favorite speakeasies I've been to!

Had reservations for a party of four (made via online) and was seated right away. Ambiance is dark and intimate but seating was enough to feel like you had room. Drinks were delicious and strong and service was great and quick. You are limited to eating and drinking within a certain time frame but it's not bad as the servers are on it. Drinks 10/10 and food 10/10. I'm still craving their burger, one of the best ones I have had, I can't even compare it to anywhere else. Bathrooms are located outside of the speakeasy.

We arrived early on a Friday evening, and thankfully it wasn't crowded. Since they don't take reservations, getting there early is definitely the way to go. We ordered the Dealer's Choice, which was refreshing, balanced, and beautifully presented. We also tried one of their stronger signature cocktails, and they definitely don't hold back -- there's a reason they limit those drinks to two per person! Both drinks were creative and well-crafted. The bartenders clearly know their craft, and the drink presentation was outstanding. Service was good, although not especially memorable, which is why I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5. One thing that would make the experience even more immersive would be if the entire staff wore cowboy attire to match the Old West theme. With the speakeasy setting and vintage decor, it would add a fun touch and make the experience feel even more authentic. Overall, Twain Speakeasy offers excellent cocktails, good music, and a unique atmosphere. I would definitely come back again, and my recommendation is to arrive early since reservations aren't available and I can see this place filling up quickly on busy nights.

Unfortunately, the experience didn't live up to the hype. Service was the main issue. The bartenders seemed inexperienced, and our server wasn't familiar with the drinks, often needing to check with someone else. It took about 20 minutes to receive our first round. Our reservation was at 10:30, we were seated until 10:40, and the place closes at midnight so timing already felt tight. Because of the wait, we asked to order two drinks at once for the next round, but were told it's limited to one at a time. That would be understandable if service were faster, but it took another 20 minutes to get the second drink. We were also told drinks from the regular menu take longer, so I tried one from the specialty menu...still a 20-minute wait. It was a frustrating experience. That said, the space itself is smaller and more intimate, which could make it a nice date spot. I do think this place has potential, and I'd consider giving it another chance, hopefully with smoother service next time. Oh Beignets were amazing!! Yummy little donuts!

When we walked into this speakeasy, behind a movable shelf, I was greatly disappointed by the size of this place. It literally was the size of a walk in closet. Probably a fifth of the size of the one in Rancho. The room was so small and cramped. We sat at the round tables which was small for 2 people, and they were spaced so close to each other. Another couple sat next to us and we could here their entire conversation. The space is just so cramped. Maybe 6 round tables with barely a foot apart. Then the bar top basically when someone is sitting there, theres less then a foot of space to go inbetween. The decor is beautiful. I did enjoy the library theme. Service here is a disappointment. There was inly 2 groups (including ourselves) when we arrived and service was excessively slow. On their featured cocktails which was the same as the one in Rancho (6 drinks?), they were already out of the first 2. And mind you, they've only been open for 2 hours. We asked them to prepare unique off the menu drinks. They basically gave us drinks from the main restaurant menu. Rum for the hills and an old fashion. The bartender at the Rancho location is so much better and nicer and way more creative. Able to create unique individual drinks off the top of his head. Not here though. She asked us what we were ordering at least times. And she still got our orders (food) wrong. The glass was sticky from the sugars. We ordered no grilled onions on the burger and it came with grilled onions. She was so unsure of what they carried (alcohol wise) that she had to go ask the other guy on multiple occasions. When the bill came, we didnt get a pen to sign it with. So we went to the bar area. The guy was a total A-hole. He was like what do you want? Woah guy. We're trying to give you more of our hard earned money via tip and sign this check so we can get the heck out of here. Like chill bro. We should be there ones angry with how bad the evening went. Not you. There were multiple flies flying around our table and food. A large fly, and then a small gnat around our drink. It was gross. Overall, it was a terrible experience here. There was mystique (I give you that, love the books). But nothing high end or exclusive about it. Usage of the space and their knowledge of the drinks reminds me of a run down dive bar. They need the bartender from Rancho to come here and revamp everything about this place. The only good thing here is that we were able to order burgers (full menu availability) in this speakeasy as suppose to the one in Victoria Gardens. But besides that, I am 100% not coming back. It just isnt worth it.
