We arrived at 9am to fill out forms…read more At 9:25 while waiting to be taken back after filling out forms they told us her insurance isn't taken here anymore. We have had this appointment scheduled for a month. Her insurance hasn't changed. The office has had her insurance information since she made the appointment. They could have called us at any point prior to 9:25am today and we could seek care elsewhere. The front desk staff are completely incompetent and unprofessional. This is a practice that needs to be absorbed by a bigger hospital organization and ensure competent patient care. We wasted our time and my girlfriend now has delay of care in tending to her active medical issues. Completely unacceptable. Do not go here.

For example, several years ago she measured my feet for custom inserts to treat my plantar fasciitis. She carefully explained how to break them in: one hour on the first day, two hours the next, gradually increasing until I could wear them for at least eight hours a day. She also injected pain medication into my feet (ouch!) to provide temporary relief. Thanks to her care, I eventually fully recovered. I've also seen other podiatrists at this practice during emergency visits when Dr. Papathomas wasn't available. Like her, they are highly skilled and clearly explained their diagnoses. The front desk staff are friendly and helpful. I always feel well taken care of here. I highly recommend Cherrywood Foot Care.

As I recently fractured my ankle (very slick of me, I know), I was on crutches. When I entered the waiting room there were wheel chairs waiting to be used! The clerk came around and helped me into a wheel chair despite my trying to protest lol. There is also a plethora of free snacks in a basket on the counter! Enjoy! I had the pleasure of seeing Dr. Bitterman. Intelligent, kind, caring and excellent orthopod. Highly recommend!

From the minuet I walk in the front desk staff are pleasant to deal with. I tore a tendon in my foot and saw Dr John Kannengieser. He explained in detail what needed to be done; risks and benefits. He is such a great Doctor as well as a terrific surgeon. 6 weeks later I'm walking on my foot like nothing happened. I HIGHLY recommend Dr Kannengieser as well as the whole practice. It's always such a pleasure dealing with pleasant, knowledgeable, and a very experienced staff.

Her staff, ranging from the front desk to the physician assistants, tries their best and is the only saving grace for her practice, which is conveniently located across from Walt Whitman mall. They are friendly, diligent, and do try their best while staying calm, collected, and professional unlike the doctor herself, who seems passive aggressive. Given the poor reviews and experience, I don't recommend her practice unless you want to go through the pain of feeling this distress yourself.
