He does not respond to emails or texts, and he gives off an aura of "I'm too busy" or doesn't care. Not sure who at this office decided that the front desk folks should really push customers to book 2X a week, but it's really annoying. I've never gone to a PT office that does this and I've been to many in my lifetime. I'm a single mom in debt on a very limited budget and I've had to explain my situation MULTIPLE times with Joshua and it's like he didn't even pay attention. Jeewa should be the one there in person versus Joshua as he's much nicer and professional acting. I've only worked with one of the PTs which was Dr.Ashley Chan. She's wonderful and was a pleasure to work with. No complaints there. The facility itself is pretty big and well stocked with machines and items. Unfortunately not worth the drive to keep going here, really hated the pressure to have to make 2 appts a week, and this office doesn't bill you which is bizarre.

Over 4 years ago I contracted a chronic, crippling disease called Polymyalgia Rheumatica (PMR.) I returned for the PT I needed to start functioning better after being extremely ill for many months as my PMR was starting to remiss. I had had a great therapist when it was still Advance Sport and Spine so I started appointments with her again. She had previously successfully treated several other very difficult issues over several years and taught me how to maintain the progress. However, the new owners (FYSICAL) had a policy that therapists could treat only one condition during a visit. The FYZICAL visits were also 5 min shorter, from 45 min to 40 min. Since I had many areas of pain (poly means many), it would have taken years at the rate we were going to deal with all my joint and connective tissue problems. So on the advice of my MD I started a senior fitness class at 24Hr Fitness in Gladstone. I am so happy I found a more successful program. After 3 mos of attending 2-1hr, sessions/week (*with a few missed due to holidays and travel), I realized one day that for the first time in a long time, I could actually stand up from a chair w/o using my arms. I also noticed that my balance was improving. Now I'm 1 year in and despite the extensive damage I suffered, I have improved in virtually every area that was formerly troublesome. I don't understand the policy of only allowing one treatment per visit as I had made such good progress before for equally serious issues. The FYZICAL visits were also 5 min shorter, from 45 min to 40 min. I am so happy I found a more successful program, however I do miss my previous therapist. I work with a lot of talented physical therapists, and my good friend and co-founder of Clinicient Jerry Henderson researched clinics in Portland to give my wife the recommendation of Portland Sports Medicine and Spine Physical Therapy. He chose them based on their background in the McKenzie spine techniques of manual therapy that are evidence based and provide results that have not only freed her from pain, but started the restoration of function after only a few visits. We have been elated with the results. From the initial experience of setting an appointment, to the reception by the front office staff, to the handling of our somewhat challenging insurance provider (United Healthcare), to the outcomes my wife has experienced, our experience has been nothing short of AMAZING. The people at the front desk strive to help you get your appointments set even when struggling to get ahold of an adjuster in my case. the lovely assistance who were always sweet in their greeting as I was sat down to warm up and wait for tori. Tori was the best for me though, we got along great and she really understood my injury and my pain and really worked with me every week to help me get my range of motion back. I was told I may not be able to fully straighten my elbow after what happened by my dr but Tori helped me get my full range of motion back.
