I choose Mitchell Physical Therapy because they were so close to my home, making it easy on me to drive there and, they are on my insurance plan. Brendan Thompson was my therapist and I can't say enough good things about this young man. He listened to me when it hurt really bad, came up with solutions so my pain level was tolerable and got me through each session as I needed too. There were a few times I had to cancel because the 32 staples were hurting really bad and after the removal I had some bleeding as well. The staff and Brenden understood my problem and worked with me on setting up more appointments to finish out my prescription. When I had completed my physical therapy, Brenden made sure I took home exercises to do that will help keep my knee limber and eventually bend 110%. I only got as far a 97%. I will be using Mitchell's again when I have my right knee done this year.

He chose them based on their background in the McKenzie spine techniques of manual therapy that are evidence based and provide results that have not only freed her from pain, but started the restoration of function after only a few visits. From the initial experience of setting an appointment, to the reception by the front office staff, to the handling of our somewhat challenging insurance provider (United Healthcare), to the outcomes my wife has experienced, our experience has been nothing short of AMAZING. Reading about her, I was happy to see that she specializes in car-accidents, etc. I made my first appointment. I've worked with a few Cranial Sacral therapist from many different schools, but not yet from the Ortho-Bionomy® and Cranial Sacral Therapy developed by British Osteopath Arthur Lincoln Pauls in the 1970s. Very cool :) a new approach. I was up for the experience. I've been is so many car accidents, my healthcare team said that my case is very complex, which puts me on the long term path to healing. I really loved my first session with Elizabeth. She sensed that the damage to my body from a car accident back in college was the place to start. I could feel the energy shifting through different parts of my body as she worked on me. The next morning I woke up with markedly less pressure in my head. I have now slept very deeply for 2 nights. I reschedule appointments and the person on the phone can't find it in the schedule, or doesn't change the appointment. The front desk is inconsistent and often incompetent (I think it's often the PT staff covering). No one seems to know what's going on. Their billing department is a mess. I pay my copay every single time I go and yet I get bills in the mail from collections. I complain to the front desk, they say they'll take care of it, they don't. It's a nuisance and frustrating. The good news: Tyler is a great acupuncturist and he's the only reason I go and keep coming back. But I am on the fence about whether I want the hassle of this place just to get treatment.
