On a Saturday I called and found someone in the office. They walked me through the whole procedure and go me back on line. With most companies this would have been a call out and big bill. These are good people, they so far have proven themselves reliable and honest and dread thinking of they day they decide to wrap it up and quit the business, I will be hurting if that day comes. I am glad that my family and I are still alive to post this review!…read more After opening the RO filter housings for routine maintenance, I found out that the original filters were still sealed inside their plastic wrapping. This means the filters were never actually filtering water from the time the system was installed. Leaving the filters wrapped completely defeats the purpose of the RO system and potentially exposes to untreated water while giving a false sense of safety. This is a serious installation error. Most customers would never think to open the housings to check, so this could easily go unnoticed until time for replacement. I have photo documentation clearly showing the filters still wrapped in plastic inside the housings. And Awni, I know what I am talking about.

Previously we had a soft water system but we had issues with it. We have 7 people in our house with lot's of laundry and showers and the previous system would run out of soft water and we would have to recycle the water manually. This kineitico system has two tanks for ample soft water. The drinking water is a reverse osmosis with filters and does an excellent job with tasty water and does a better job than our previous system. Highly recommended.
