Took their food and bowls but was told they provided bowls, so they gave me back my personal bowls. Wen I returned to picked them up and brought them home, both dogs started coughing. By the next day, their symptoms had become worse. I took them to the veterinarian, where they were diagnosed with Kennel Cough. I contacted Frogs to Dogs to inform them of the situation and was told someone would get back to me. Unfortunately, I have not received a phone call, text, or email addressing my concerns. I understand that kennel cough can sometimes occur even in vaccinated dogs and in boarding environments, but I am disappointed by the lack of communication and follow-up after reporting what happened. Olga met with me prior to the first time pet sitting to meet my dogs and cat - she spent a time getting to know them and learning their routines and care. The first time she cared from my group, it was unexpectedly cold and my dogs typically stay outside for the day. Olga altered her schedule so that she could come over extra times throughout the day since the dogs had to stay inside due to the cold. She kept in close contact with me on the weather and when she thought it was safe to let them stay out. Olga's love for animals is so apparent - I felt she cared from my group just as she would her own. And realized I owe this fantastic person a review. A very long story short, in 2015 I found myself in temporary housing after a move back to Atlanta to start a new job. It was a very difficult situation with two rescue dogs that suffered from anxiety/separation issues. The day prior my daytime pet arrangements had fallen through. I also had work travel imminent. I was in a panic and massively stressed. The same day I called Karen, she showed up to meet me and the two pups. They took to her immediately, even my ultra scared/shy guy who shivered and shook around people. She confidentially handled them, kindly calmed my anxiety over the situation and had it under control. She could double as a therapist!!! The next day while I was at work all went totally fine with their walk. I even received text photos with details of how it went. The pups were happy, I was relieved of stress and life suddenly became simpler. For simplicity sake I've glossed over a very trying and rough time in life. Recently our pet sitter through Critter Sitters retired and we met with our new sitter one time. Everything seemed fine and we were scheduled to go out of town and had confirmed with the new sitter employed by Critter Sitters that everything was in order. Yesterday I asked for clarification about the billing since it seemed substantially higher with the new sitter over what we had paid previously - in response, I have been told that the sitter's schedule has changed and that I should seek care for my animals elsewhere. With little more than a week's notice, this was very unprofessional and disappointing to say the least. I've tried to communicate my experience to the owner of the company but the line has been busy for some time; will update this review if new information becomes available but sadly, I can no longer recommend this business and would seek care for pets elsewhere. Update: the owner responded and while appreciated, I find the way this situation was handled by Critter Sitters very unprofessional. I can include the text conversation for reference as I did not negotiate: I asked a question about a price difference between two different sitters employed by the same company, a difference of over 300 dollars. The only "policy" I see enforced or followed here is poor customer service.

When there was an issue with another dog, not started by Gus, the B&B family immediately let me know and we solved the issue together, again with their team being absolute rockstars in care for Gus's small wounds before I could get back to him. I mention this story because there's always someone on a review site for doggy daycare and boarding with a bad experience who talks about it, but doesn't go into the detail of how the company made it right. Bark & Board have become trusted advisors and custodians to my dog for 4 years, and we cannot thank them enough for giving Gus a safe, loving, and comfortable experience for over 4 years, and will continue to do so and care for my little buddy.
