I'm trying to understand why this was $37 during lunch hours. My fiancé and I was in a rush and wanted to grab lunch on the way home. I placed a to go order over the phone (took 5 times to get in contact with them due to their phone system having issues) & I thought she made a mistake when she told me the total. We figured we'd give it a shot to see if the portions or the quality of the food made up for the price. Well, I was very underwhelmed with the quality and taste of the food for the price. Delicious food and great customer service! Portion size was perfect, also. We will definitely visit again. The location was not ideal being located in the shopping plaza across from a high school , especially since we chose to come as school was letting out and traffic was crazy. Was driving thru Florence, South Carolina today and was hungry, so I stopped here. Parking lot seemed to be busy which is usually a sign of a good place to eat, but inside it was not. Maybe 5 other guests. Oddly, there were six employees working - and as it was fast casual - I expected food to come out quickly. It took almost 14 minutes and I noticed most of the items I ordered were contained in the steam table. Not quite sure what the deal is with the all the staff seemingly doing nothing. This is a new restaurant in my town so they obviously need to work out the kinks so here are the downsides. The wait was very long, 10 min to order and 30 minutes to get our food, although it was VERY busy They put mostly onions in the vegetables I wish there was more zucchini and broccoli The teriyaki chicken was very sweet but pretty good It did have a lot of good sides though, the filet minion was delicious and the rice was amazing. As far as the vegetables, other than the onion thing it was very good. Like I said thy need to work out the kinks. There were a lot more good points than bad so we will definitely be back. read more

We were greeted by the team as we entered. You know how they yell at you when you come into an establishment. "Welcome to ....!!" The food was pretty decent. We went around 6:30pm and it didn't take more than 10 minutes for our food to be ready. I did notice bursts of crowds coming in and out as we were dining in. Driving through Florence and stopped here hoping to find a decent meal. Winnah Winnah Chicken Dinnah! Got 2 Chicken Teriyaki bowls, a Chicken with broccoli and ramen noodles and a Hibachi veggie entree. Also got the white sauce and ginger sauce. Got it back to the hotel and...DELICIOUS! Totally hit the spot for us after a day of driving. All flavors were on target and so good we couldn't stop until we had to. Love this place, will visit next time we are there. In fact we will make it a point to stop there and try the sushi as well as some other offerings. First visit. Jasmine was friendly and explained the menu items as we were unfamiliar. There were not many people ahead of us, wait time for food after ordering took maybe 15 minutes. I tried the Yakisoba (noodles) with beef, my wife tried it with chicken. The noodles were chewy in a good way, vegetables (zucchini and onions) were cooked well. Beef was ok, a little tough to chew. I think I would recommend the chicken or shrimp more. Also it was way too salty for me, so I'll ask for light sauce also if I try it again. My wife likes to cut her noodles and we found they do not have any knives in the place (except maybe in the cooks hands I presume), so she had to twirl them up on the fork this time. So BYOK. The reviews were good for this restaurant. Per my husband and I It was So-so. We both ordered a form of teriyaki. I ordered filet mignon teriyaki with extra sauce sauce and my husband ordered teriyaki chicken and beef. They remade mine after I told them I needed extra sauce as it was very dry. They brought me a new bowl and I didn't see any extra sauce but gave up at that point. My husband ordered his without pepper and it arrived with plenty of pepper. Finally, Florence gets an upscale, clean restaurant with great food and low prices! The quality is excellent and we have eaten there and had take out many times! Try it and I'm sure you'll agree!! Very nice atmosphere too! Love the little Miyabi samurai guy!! read more

Okay food. Long wait times. Condiments are rationed. Love the Japanese sodas. If you are looking for take out or quick service hibachi then this is the place for you. Otherwise avoid, there are better quick service Asian take out places in the Florence area. read more

This restaurant has improved a lot after a pretty rough start. We've been visiting this place weekly lately and have enjoyed the teriyaki chicken, California rolls, and spicy tuna rolls. We also enjoy the calpico drinks. The food has been freshly prepared and comes out at the right temperature after a fairly short wait. read more

We've been eating here sporadically since this location opened a couple of years ago. The food quality started out above average...such that my family began opting for Miyabi over other local sit down establishments (such as Miyami). That was long ago. The last 2-3 times we have struggled to achieve the trifecta of "correct order/acceptable wait/expected food quality." I'm of the opinion that nothing is made to order any longer, as the food quality has deteriorated mightily in the last couple of months. The apathetic staff have already mentally clocked out after 8 pm, so good luck getting your order right. All in all - what was once a 4-5 star rated restaurant has devolved into at best a 1 star. If I want reheated leftovers I'll go to Miyami, have the meal prepared fresh to order in front of me , and eat the leftovers the next day. Apparently Miyabi's MO is to now cut straight to the chase, serve reheated food off the bat, and continue to charge the same price point justified by freshly prepared Hibachi. read more

Great food fast service. Very clean place. Recommend the filet dinner. Their mushrooms are amazing. Little pricey but worth it.

Steak was over cooked and over seasoned. The chicken was dry and the rice was not seasoned great. The vegetables were mostly a pile of onions with a couple pieces of zucchini undercooked. The spicy Tuna roll was just tuna in a rice roll with hot sauce on top. For the price paid we could have eaten at a much nicer place and have been completely satisfied. The only saving grace was the the 2 young women working in there. They were very pleasant to deal with. read more
