The course was in need of some upgrading under the old ownership and that is still the case under the new owners. You can see where they are painting the Clubhouse and getting some sand added to the traps. There are a two greens that are near impossible to putt on making our groups take automatic 2 putts. Course maintenance is sorely lacking due to the low points in the fairways and most sand traps being full of leaves and piles of sand. At this point it is not worth anywhere near the one hundred dollar green fee. The cart paths will rattle you're brain. Everyone that we came in contact with was very hospitable. The bar and table service was excellent for our group. The guys cleaning and taking our golf clubs to the bag drop were excellent as well. Hope they get it together for next year.

Nichole made sure everything ran so smoothly, like I even forgot I hired a caricature artist until someone reminded me Nichole had set him up on the terrace. Kelly somehow knew where all my stuff was better than I did & is an excellent writer so she helped us with our signs. They have a private bridal suite in the women's locker room ground level and a men's locker room upstairs. The decor is elegant and perfect for mood lighting. The food was amazing! The chef knows what he's doing and has such good recipes. You must go with the Asian steak. The lemon drops from the bar are excellent as well. We got beautiful lakeside photos and got to ride around in golf carts and my husband never drove one before so that was a journey. The wild rice pilaf, Asian steak & gorgonzola salad were my favorites. We also had salmon, rolls, and prime rib on our menu and mixed veggies and scalloped potatoes. Plus apps like beef wellington, crab cakes and coconut shrimp. Over 20 years ago I attended the senior PGA Tour event that was hosted here I had forgotten how beautiful it is. The course is under new ownership, and somewhat recent years and lots of money has been invested in the entire course and golf club. Beautiful country club, restaurant, golf facilities, and course. I think I'm gonna get to play it again soon. A shot of 77 blind with four 3 putts. I had a great day and our host. Greg is an incredible guy and great golfer himself.

From parking, to registration to scoring. Everything was working like a well oiled machine. The course itself was in great condition. Definitely one of the better courses in ATL. I don't remember a lot of elevation, but I do remember that there are plenty of marshes, so be careful with that big stick. The greens were in great condition, and rolled true.

Plenty of parking since it was a Sunday afternoon, and it was cloudy with sporadic rain nearby, making the need to prepay for a booth unnecessary, since we were early and they had plenty of booths. Oh well, kind of disappointed they still charged us for that. We booked booth 216 for 90 minutes, Taylor K was our server and checked in on us to see if we needed any help getting started. We for a couple drinks and started our playing a few different games. With two people we play quickly, so we had a lot of fun. I ordered pretzel bites as a snack while playing and we didn't stop until the time was up. Easy to pay our tab, we had gift cards and Taylor helped us get it sorted out. Any leftovers we gave to him, along with a cash tip. Great location, near lots of options for food- but drinks and food are good here! Great for entertaining, great for big groups. Despite that, the associate responded by asking if I would be the guest. The interaction was surprising and uncomfortable, as it appeared an assumption was made about who held the membership. My guest and I found the comment inappropriate, and it left us questioning whether unconscious bias played a role in the exchange. I believe all members should be treated with the same level of respect and professionalism, regardless of their race or appearance. While this may not have been the associate's intention, the experience left a negative impression and is something management should address through staff training and awareness.

My husband and I came shopping ready to purchase a new golf bag and a new wedge for his birthday…read more Due to our experience today, we felt the need to take our money elsewhere. The gentleman running the simulator desk was extremely condescending and rude. As a left-handed golfer, my husband already knew he would be running into limited selection, which is fine, however tried his best to demo available items to make a decision. Our first interaction with this individual was him yelling at us telling us we couldn't demo the new wedges. He didn't even bother to notice that we had 3 separate demo wedges picked out and wasn't planning on even trying to new ones out. He ended up liking a Callaway Wedge, and upon checking the stock, there was not one available. My husband simply asked if there would be any ability to purchase the demo wedge, to which we received an extremely smart ass response and sass. I've never quite experienced that much of a false sense of authority and lack of customer service skills. Most people would have used a different tone... something to the effect of hey unfortunately we don't sell the demo items, but I'm happy to try and find the item online for you to order or possibly at another store. Upon that type of response, we immediately left and will gladly be taking our business elsewhere. This was Sunday, June 14th at about 1pm and I wish we had got the associate's name. If I were the business owner, I would definitely be thinking about if this person is helping or hurting my ability to drive revenue and a positive customer experience.

In my recent visit to the course, I was dismayed by the conditions on hole 4, with a dirt mound…read moredominating the left side of the fairway. While I understand not every course can be pristine like Augusta, basic upkeep is expected. Furthermore, encountering Dan on the course raised concerns, particularly his choice of arm sleeves which seemed unnecessary. However, what truly disturbed me was witnessing Dan's inappropriate behavior towards young golfers he was supposedly teaching. His midsection got a little too close to one of a young female golfer. His actions crossed boundaries and made the children as well as myself uncomfortable. Additionally, my interaction with an outdoor service staff member, who appeared to be drinking on the job, was far from the standard one would expect at a country club.
