I am a brand new golfer, and have been incredibly pleased with how quickly I've developed under Jun's direction. I was apprehensive when I began taking lessons because I was intimidated with the complexity of the game, but Jun started with the basics and broke everything down so I could understand what the swing is supposed to look like. The best part about Baraban's is that all of the motions are videoed while you practice, and the instructor can play each swing back on the monitor so you see what you did right or wrong....and can show you what needs to be corrected. I can't imagine hitting balls on the range and just guessing what needs to be fixed if something isn't working right. I've found Baraban's Academy to be very affordable as well - they sell packages of lessons which work well for my situation. They also have club fittings, and many other services. My husband and I came shopping ready to purchase a new golf bag and a new wedge for his birthday…read more Due to our experience today, we felt the need to take our money elsewhere. The gentleman running the simulator desk was extremely condescending and rude. As a left-handed golfer, my husband already knew he would be running into limited selection, which is fine, however tried his best to demo available items to make a decision. Our first interaction with this individual was him yelling at us telling us we couldn't demo the new wedges. He didn't even bother to notice that we had 3 separate demo wedges picked out and wasn't planning on even trying to new ones out. He ended up liking a Callaway Wedge, and upon checking the stock, there was not one available. My husband simply asked if there would be any ability to purchase the demo wedge, to which we received an extremely smart ass response and sass. I've never quite experienced that much of a false sense of authority and lack of customer service skills. Most people would have used a different tone... something to the effect of hey unfortunately we don't sell the demo items, but I'm happy to try and find the item online for you to order or possibly at another store. Upon that type of response, we immediately left and will gladly be taking our business elsewhere. This was Sunday, June 14th at about 1pm and I wish we had got the associate's name. If I were the business owner, I would definitely be thinking about if this person is helping or hurting my ability to drive revenue and a positive customer experience.

Over 20 years ago I attended the senior PGA Tour event that was hosted here I had forgotten how beautiful it is. The course is under new ownership, and somewhat recent years and lots of money has been invested in the entire course and golf club. Beautiful country club, restaurant, golf facilities, and course. I think I'm gonna get to play it again soon. A shot of 77 blind with four 3 putts. I had a great day and our host. Greg is an incredible guy and great golfer himself.

Played here in a golf tournament and enjoyed the round and all the amenities…read more I am not sure if the volunteers or the course staff managed the tournament, but it was very well executed. From parking, to registration to scoring. Everything was working like a well oiled machine. The course itself was in great condition. Definitely one of the better courses in ATL. I don't remember a lot of elevation, but I do remember that there are plenty of marshes, so be careful with that big stick. The greens were in great condition, and rolled true.
