If you are in the Dayton OHIO area you should definitely look them up. They are easy to find with Google Maps or Yelp GPS, They are located in a residential area. Plenty of parking and inside its rather dark but they have been in business for Decades, I spoke to a lady who said her parents had started his business. They use a Conveyor Belt Style Oven to make the Delicious Salty Goodness. They also sell other treats too. I purchased 2 pretzels, ONE for each of us only and some Cheese Popcorn she said she made fresh about an hour before I got there...All for less than $5 can't beat the prices!! In fact, I'm planning another trip to Muncie JUST to visit Concannon's and get some donuts. What's a two-hour round-trip drive when you can be rewarded with amazing donuts during your journey? I visited Concannon's by myself, and although I wanted one of each of the donuts they had in the bakery case, I limited myself to three donuts: a glazed pretzel-shaped yeasted donut, a blueberry cake donut and an old fashioned donut. My go-to at any donut shop is usually a glazed twist, but they don't have glazed twists here! Instead, they have a glazed pretzel-shaped donut, which turned out to have all of the elements of a glazed twist, but it was just bigger and more twisty. It was amazing, pillowy, slightly sweet and even more delicious when you pull it apart with your fingers and eat it bit by bit. The blueberry cake and old-fashioned donuts were my favorites, though. These melted in my mouth, especially the old-fashioned. It was so tender and fresh. The old-fashioned is one of those kinds of donuts that I wish I enjoyed with some coffee, but instead, I ate it solo while dancing around delightedly in my hotel room. The customer service is something you don't find it any of the chain stores. You can tell this is a mom and pop and that they care about treating the customers well. She got the flavor called "kitty kitty bang bang", and was pretty good. It might not be a go to favorite, but it was something new, and it was pretty good. It's an original, you couldn't get in anywhere else. Next one says this: I got this flavor called "this just got serious" and it's really good. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is there for the first time or likes caramel, chocolate, or vanilla. Third one got Oreo blast, Oreo madness. She's six and doesn't exactly remember the name of the flavor but it has a lot to do with Oreo cookies. She got it in a homemade waffle cone. She says "I love Lala Sugar land". My four-year-old says: it's so good I wuv (love) it. She got the birthday cake in a regular cone. It's a small mom and pop shop. It's a little bit duckies in a little bit grandpa Joe's.
