Ultimately we decided to go with Elite Flooring because of the price. Let me tell you the quality of job they do is worth every penny. They pay very close attention to all detail and work extremely hard to make sure the work is completed on time. These are the types of businesses you have no qualms about giving your business to. Mike possesses a true mastery of his craft. I know a lot of people that would do a good job as long as there are no surprises. Mike will do an excellent job no matter the circumstances because he's probably seen it before and knows how to fix it. He has the confidence and knowledge to walk into a room and get to work. He's not going to call his manager or google the next step. He is the manager; he is the go-to guy. Secondly, he has a good eye for design too. For my vestibule, I had an idea of what I want. I explained it in my layman's terms and hazy descriptions and he saw what I was envisioning. I didn't need to over-explain it or draw a picture. He just got it. Also, and more importantly, he's honest. He gave me an estimate and stuck to it. That never happens. Anyone else would have charged extra when they discovered the subfloor was rotted, or when they saw a 10 degree slope in the corner. Mike didn't. He stuck to what he said and even fixed a few wall tiles in the kitchen - no charge. Not to mention, his prices are a bargain. People with half his skill, wanted a whole lot more. Victor came out for the estimate and pointed things out that I never would've thought of. When I told him I was looking to save money by doing as much work as I could myself, he told me what would reduce costs (like removing carpet and as much furniture on my own as I could) and what splurges might not be worth it (matching laminate quarter-round and replacing my trim - I could just re-paint it). After choosing this company for the job, Victor answered additional questions and was very accommodating with scheduling the install. His brother and one other man came right on time yesterday to install. They were efficient (finished in about 5 hours and never took a break!), professional, and friendly. When finished, they asked to make sure things were cleaned up enough for us. He also did all finishing touches including installing the drywall, door, floor tiles, and painting. Then, in our kitchen, we hired Tauhid to install a new kitchen sink and countertop along with a dishwasher. We were so impressed by his work that we then had him re-drywall our living room ceiling and install crown molding. All of the work took many months to complete, and not only was it done beautifully, but Tauhid was amazing to work with and has become a friend who we know we can call on for any small or big jobs that we need. Since that time, we sold that house (I'm sure Tauhid's work helped us get top dollar for our house), and we have since had him install a dishwasher at my parents' home and move washer/dryer lines from the basement to the first floor.
