I hate dealing with money and finances, but they always make the experience tolerable, if not enjoyable. The bank itself is a big bank, but I really have no problem with it. They offer free student checking which is helpful, free online banking which is great. Their 24/7 over the phone banking has gotten me out of a few tight spots over the past few months, and the operators are super nice and helpful.

(And this is the only way you'll hear about it; they closed the ATM near me without notice -- didn't even leave a sign on the door! Their sign stayed there for at least 6 months; meanwhile, the ATM customers only realized when they tried to enter -- they were locked out. Good luck getting thru to a competent, attentive real person to address your issue (you know, the one you've already tried to resolve thru their useless bot "services" and phone prompts that lead no where -- you CANNOT reach a live person for help. So be prepared to be ignored and driven to tears* in circles trying to figure it out yourself. My attempts to resolve fairly straightforward issues and erroneous transactions in-person --tried 2 local branches, several times --unsuccessful as well. (Friendly bank rep will express concern and call HQ, who will confirm they don't know either.) My experience was consistently disappointing, painfully time-consuming & I was driven to tears in frustration *Seriously--I'm a reliable, financially-seasoned customer--I had no idea that a bank could make me cry. This is "self-serve" banking, but without proper forethought and consideration for customer needs nor the tech/resources to make their online-only model work. But for once I actually tried it out and it wasn't half as bad as I thought it would be. I didn't go around a busy time so there was parking for me and it wasn't too bad getting in and out of here. They have a fair sized lot and the atm's are entered from the street it's a weird set up. Be patient getting in and out of here since there is a light close by and nobody lets you go. This location is very clean and the workers seemed very nice I was in and out. I also saw an elderly woman leaving this branch and the worker made sure to hold the doors open for her to safely leave , this made me very happy. This place seems to be in a safer area and isn't in a sketchy area either. They have tints in the windows so it looked close when I went and that was morning time , but they were open. I would go to this location again only around times that aren't too busy.
