I highly recommend this place for tint. I called right before closing time one evening and they gave me an appointment for the following morning. Paul at M K tinted the back 5 windows on my family member's Honda CR-V in one hour flat, whereas my own car took 4 or 5 hours at a place near Little Village. Paul did super nice work, definitely better quality work than the "other" place. He charged $180 which seems highly reasonable. The quality of tint film is also visibly superior to the other shop. Paul is very friendly and accommodating. The CR-V I brought in there had an old bumper sticker on the back glass that I had been messing with for a good 20 minutes, with solutions, etc. I made a joke about it and he immediately asked, "do you want me to take it off for you? It would only take a second". He took it off, free of charge. That was a very nice touch. I will bring my next car there for sure. read more

Everyone knows you can't be a gangsta' without tint so I just had to get me some. Judging by yelp reviews, I was sure to be ballin' in no time time with MK. I gave them a call and made an appointment. Upon arrival, I swaggered around in a seemingly empty storefront for a few minutes, shaking my chains, baring my grills, looking mostly confused. Daniel eventually greeted me though and directed me to the tint portion of the shop. We spoke of my tinting needs. It didn't look like they were going to have time to finish my car by the end of the day though. The following business day I came back and dropped off the car. I am not one to write reviews unless the services has been extremely horrible or above and beyond excellent. That being said... Dan is a consummate professional. Despite having a backlog of work, he was able to squeeze me in by staying late to accommodate my schedule. I brought in my MB truck to get the windows tinted. Since my vehicle was black on black, he suggest to go with a 35% tint rather than 20% as driving at night in the burbs without street lights can get a bit dark. He personally does the work and you can tell that he is skilled at what he does and is very careful around the vehicle. He takes pride in his work and the lifetime guarantee is only as good as the shop is around. Being in business for close to 30 years is no small feat. These guys are terrific. My siblings and I wanted to surprise my mother with an auto-start for Christmas. Off course it was last minutes (like 3 days before). Naturally we went to Best Buy for a quote. We wanted to purchase the unit, wrap-it, and present it to my mom so she can unwrap it on Christmas. However, every Best Buy was sold out. I saw the Yelp for this place and gave it a shot. Not only did they have it in stock, their quote was $75 less than Best Buy. Plus they were able to install it the Saturday after Christmas. I called these guys asking them to match a discount I found elsewhere and they straight up disrespected me and belittled me simply for asking if they'd do a price match. They literally verbally insulted me over the phone for asking if they had a military discount on Veteran's Day for Iraq War veterans. Don't deal with these people and take your business elsewhere! And the tint these people use is of mediocre quality. There are better quality tints out there! I wish I could give them zero stars. Update: I purchased an extremely high quality tint package from another shop that doesn't treat U.S. combat veterans with disrespect. This shop usually applies tints to Lamborghinis and Ferraris. All this despite the fact that MK is literally down the street from my house. Message me for a referral. I've already referred several people who are pleased with my referral. read more

I had my tints done by Dan a couple months ago. Flawless work!! I originally had my mind set to limo black for the back windows and 35% for front windows, but Dan recommended 20 or 35% for back windows (I forgot exactly which one it was) and 50% for front windows for my black on black sedan. I am so thankful for Dan's recommendation because as I recently found out thanks to a friend of mine, Chicago tickets for front window tints being too dark are a whopping $250 fine!! Dan really looks out for his customers. If he recommends something I suggest you accept it or you'll end up paying the higher price later. Thanks Dan! I had my BMW 330i done for a very reasonable rate given the tight spaces and curved glass. I paid more to have two windows tinted in 1998 than I did with Mr. Yoon. More importantly, the tint is of high quality and Yoon works efficiently with quality results. Highly recommended although the location and waiting room are a little sketchy - but it's not like you're going to be there at night. read more

Been meaning to write this for a long time now. MK does a fantastic job. I got 35%'s on all 5 windows on my black '07 M35. It was a bit more expensive than other shops, but they do use a higher quality tint. It's not money wasted. The guy who did my car executed an excellent application; the fit is perfect. My car looks tight. This is the place I recommend to everyone that asks me where I got my windows tinted. Final thought--some people have remarked about the "sketch" factor of the area.
