The owner immediately got off the phone and called his driver. Within 5 minutes he called back and said he'd have his driver pick them up immediately. A lady I am aware of uses their services or she would not get around. Her health just doesn't allow for it. One night I saw her waiting for them to pick her up outside the studio and gallery next to where I do my work.. The weather was nice but I would never leave a woman to sit by herself at night near 2nd st and Roosevelt while waiting to be picked up. Chances are there'd be no problems but... They were late but eventually they go there after being called and reminded they were supposed to come and get her. Tonight, it was bordering on cold and this lady again was sitting waiting vor VMT to come and get her. .She told me she had called VMT twice and got the answering machine. By 7:20 pm, I started calling and by then the answering machine wasn't picking up. Eventually my calls would be dropped. While I understand tragic weather played a factor in this, I was told he would be there between 440p and 530p. At 5:45, he was 15 minutes late. I called the office to see what was going on the woman I spoke to, I believe her name was ReAnn.', was rude. She told me at one point he was 20 minutes away then she said 5 minutes away. When I asked her which one it was, she said, " well, before I was interrupted, you asked for an estimated time. In the situation I was in I didn't need her rudeness or sarcasm. When I told her I was told between 430 and 530 and not 430 and 6 o'clock. She was rude. As I said, she was rude, but Ricky was great so when I called on Monday to let management know of the situation, I spoke to Shane. He was very nice and apologetic; however, he is not the one that should've been apologizing. In fact, the call to him should never have happened . Because of Ricky and Shane, this place gets four stars. What I use them again? Yes,,only if the transport was in town.
