A few weeks ago, a young man from MLM came to my house offering MLM services. I agreed, and the following day, Mr. M. S. came to inspect my roof. Because it was extremely hot that day, I invited him into my living room. He entered and immediately closed the door behind him. I found this unusual, but assumed he was trying to keep the air conditioning inside. He began speaking very quickly and took notice of the paintings in my home. He even called his wife to tell her that I had a painting similar to one they had in their bedroom. He spoke about her and his children before moving on to the roof inspection. After he came back down, we began discussing the next steps in the process. I started initiating a claim with my insurance company when then suddenly he stood behind me and asked me to look at his"butt" to see if his pants were dirty. He said not to take it the wrong way, that he didn't want to get my chair dirty. Before I could respond, he added that I could look without worry because, for a man, he had a very nice "butt". I was extremely uncomfortable and offended by the comment. He then asked if I had an attic. I told him no, but mentioned that there was a small opening in my closet that led to the roof area, though there wasn't much room to enter. He replied that even though he was tall and big, I'd be surprised how skilled he was at getting into tight spaces. Then he smile. I stood up from my seat, opened the door, and he left. I called to complaint about this behavior. At the beginning, they expressed their concern and told emphatically that HR will call me back. Nobody called me at all. I called, the lady, head of HR, was rude, no desire to listen, no desire to help. She said the only thing they can do is try to be sure they hire the right people. read more

We have wood roof shingles that last 25 years, I think he did not have knowledge about this type roof.He was agitated that I was not interested in his sales pitch. Too aggressive. I work nights. They knock on doors repeatedly to attempt to get sales. You should not open the door to people you did not call. I am not stupid. I know how to contact someone if I need work done. If you happen to open the door to them they try to waste 15 minutes of your time until you have to be rude and almost slam the door in their face. If I were to hire a roofer I would never call them because I don't like their sales tactics. They knock on your door like they are the police or they pay the mortgage here. If you have sleeping babies or are taking care of the sick or elderly they wake them up. This is borders on harassment. If they show up at more door one more time I am reporting them. The new roof on my Home is Very Much Appreciated; that is an under-statement! November 11, 2024, was extremely pleased to watch as my new roof was accomplished, (following my two-plus years of efforts to arrange for that to happen) until TJ came on the scene. 'Team of MLM' from Estimate in August with TJ Belcher; his work with my insurance co.; extending extra consideration to the project. Also, Robby came out on Nov. 5th; previous to the remove & replacement, taking extra time to review the roof conditions, as well as answers to my questions. Everyone who came to do the work, was pleasant and respectful to me and the job; while diligently working thru out the day. As final touches were done, Jacqueline Noyes came with a Gentleman with MLM to observe the completion of the project by an Exceptional Crew! It was quite nice to meet "Jackie" as she walked around, we discussed the Good Work that was done. Her interest and enthusiasm is in line with all of the Good Customer Service of the MLM Team. Seems everyone is honestly interested in their work & pleasant to meet. While some folks will expand, with preconceived ideas of un-favorable work, for some attention; while others may fail to acknowledge favorable work & comment on a 'job well done'! Perhaps, I do 'over-kill' in my comments, it is all sincere and would highly recommend MLM to Homeowners and Businesses alike. Almost 2yrs ago I purchased windows with shutter and a lifetime warranty. We still have not gotten what was paid for. We have reach out to them numerous times because it sounds like birds have built nest where caps should be on the end. Finally this week they returned the call saying they have no plan to put caps on the ends to make this right. I tried to load pics so you can see the quality of work. Beware of MLM Roofing / Home improvement They are going around neighborhoods knocking on doors telling you that they can get your roof repaired for you due to hail damage. I'm not debating whether they can/should. Whether you can/should do this. I had a leaking roof. Someone recommended MLM to me. I regret using them. While they did repair my roof they took 5 months to do so. Pressured me to make payment "by thanksgiving" but didn't do the work until the end of January. They also didn't mitigate the leak in my garage despite many requests to do so. The workers themselves were very professional Once the roofing was done- everyone else in the company -not so Much. My problem is that they were also supposed to fix some siding damage. They told Me they were "outside specialists". My contract was for let's say $15000 for my roof and $50 to repair my siding. They didn't present me with a written contract - only one on an iPad and even though we discussed the siding from the minute they stepped on my property they "forgot" to include the siding in their contract. Coincidentally State Farm also forgot to include the siding in their estimate however, MLM went back to State Farm and made sure that the estimate for repair included the repair for the siding. State Farm had to come out twice regarding the siding and BOTH times MLM, accompanied them for the visit, and I had many texts back-and-forth between MLM and myself discussing the siding. 100% MLM knew they were responsible for the siding too. After the roof was complete, MLM asked for payment. When I asked when they were going to do the siding. They said oh the siding was never included, and thus the battle began with them, claiming it was never on my contract, and they never intended to fix the siding. State Farm said that they believed they were going to fix it because MLM had been involved with the site visits and conversations with State Farm. I said they had stated they would do the repairs because they had told me they were a Outdoor specialists and we had multiple conversations about it. Eventually, they called State Farm about why I wasn't making the payment, totally inappropriate on their part, and State Farm said it was because they hadn't finished the job, not completing the siding. They stated that they weren't responsible for the siding because it wasn't in the contract and it became a bit of a he said / she said. MLM told me I had to go higher and find a siding contractor to fix the job, when they had only left $50 in the budget and now I would have to take my time and energy and get a whole new estimate and deal with State Farm again to get the rest of the job done because MLM dropped the ball. My point to MLM was you got the Lionshare of the money, you agreed that you would do the job and now you've left me with $50 to find somebody to do the siding and nobody is going to do the job for $50. It was a part of the entirety of the contract and you were supposed to finish the job. Not only was it part of our agreement, but it was a also part of a good faith agreement to do the job when you took the lionshare of the payment from my insurance company. Finally, State Farm said they would pay for one entire side of my house to be resided and then all of a sudden MLM is interested in the job again because it's no longer a $50 job but several thousand dollars I declined to have MLM do that portion of the job because I felt that if they wouldn't do the job for the original agreed-upon amount, they didn't deserve to be rewarded with additional work. Why should they get paid a higher amount than they were originally supposed to be paid. The bottom line here is, they're not trust worthy, they didn't honor their word, and there are many other companies in the area that can fix your roof under your insurance policy. Go with somebody who is more trustworthy. This company certainly doesn't honor their word. read more

A door knocker namedv"Matty C," I presume, came to my home this week and we arranged an appointment for an estimate on my windows and front door for today, Saturday, at 10 am. I then spoke to an appointment maker on the phone in front of the door knocker. The appointment maker said someone would call to confirm my appointment a day before, but no one called me or if they did, did not leave a voicemail. So, today is here and MLM did not call and did not show up. All in all they lost my business and wasted my time. I am aware that other yelpers have experienced the same treatment by MLM. Keith Gibson is an unethi piece of sh#t I was supposed to start orientation today Jan. 6th but it got snowed out now I'm being told that I can't get into the class after I was told at the Christmas party to bring the my social security card and Id so I can start the training class on January 6th. I had signed the offer letter and confirmed with Human Resources and Recruiting to bring those documents to work on the 6th. Mind you I couldn't find a job all throughout December because no one was hiring during the holidays so this was crucial to my livelihood and catching up to bills I fell behind in.I had the documents ready to bring today but was told by Keith that he couldn't put me in the class after doing all of this. Now this is causing me all kinds of financial hardship and losses because I was telling my landlord and bill collectors I owe that I started work on the 6th due to me not havin A social security card and that's why I couldn't start on the 23rd, I feel what Keith is doing is unethical and taking personal feelings towards me to terminate my employment after him and company officials gave me their word giving to start on the 6th January. I signed an offer letter and turned down other jobs because Keith promised I'd make over 6 figures with my sales experience. I'm thinking about taking legal action because I made good faith decisions by signing the offer letter and waiting 2 weeks to get into the next class base on what they told me to do and what was promised by them. read more

Please take this review seriously and DO NOT use MLM. They will trick you to believe your home insurance will cover it all and charge huge amounts from insurance companies -- literally "insurance fraud". And to top it even after getting loads of money from your home insurance, they do not use good safety measures and provide horrible customer service. Me and my neighbor used MLM, and they left tons of nails in our driveway and our back yards after installing the new roof and we both have young kids. I had to call them 5 times and talk to 3 different people to get that fixed and then the manager told me over the phone while I was complaining that at least the job got done, so what if they don't follow safety standards and provide good customer service. Horrible experience, order placed ~4 months ago: This is the BIGGEST home improvement and contractual MISTAKE we've EVER made. My wife and I were approached by a solicitor who was combing the neighbor, and it just so happened that we need new windows and had been discussing it in the weeks prior to this guy appearing, so we thought, why not give them a try and get a quote. The sales rep who came out was extremely professional and he spent the first hour telling us how great the business is and how their main attribute is their awesome customer service and off the charts customer satisfaction. We were quoted $24.5K for 19 windows and attic insulation. It's a lot of money but they are supposed to be quality windows with a lifetime warranty, be installed in only 1 day, and the customer service he preached about was the biggest selling point because my husband and I are busy medical professionals and given current COVID times and the demands of our work, we were willing to pay extra to ensure we wouldn't have any hassle related to this project. This is the BIGGEST home improvement and contractual MISTAKE we've EVER made. The company doesn't contact us at all unless we initiate it, they rarely follow-up on promised return calls, and they can't tell us when we will be getting our windows. On top of that, after waiting 4 months, there is still no installation date in sight. 09Oct: We signed the initial contract and we were told it took 6-8wks to get the windows and they'd call to schedule with us near that time. 30Oct: We contacted the company to see where our project was in the process of it all, after not hearing from them once, and we were told there was an 8-10 week delay. They weren't really clear if that meant from the date of the order or the date of the email, but that still puts us at a mid-Jan installation from 30Oct. 01Feb: In the last 3 months we have had minimal engagement from the team, "new" customer service reps calling with incorrect information and then blaming it on their status as being a new employee, and many unreturned calls. Today we contacted the rep who supposedly is in charge of our contract to ask that it be canceled due to their inability to complete the contract in the previously quoted time-frame. He flat out tells me he cannot cancel it; I asked for the contact information the person who manages this and he replies that he is the person, and he's not canceling my contract. I remark that he should read the actual contract because it clearly says it can be canceled, to which he replies, the windows are being manufactured and he'll let me know when they're ready. Um????? What? Interestingly, while scanning through the 1 star reviews of this company on Yelp, I see there are several other customers complaining of similar problems. One other customer posted in Google reviews that apparently he was told his project would be completed in March 2021... 6 MONTHS after signing. Of note, I specifically told the rep during the initial presentation that we needed this done BY FEBRUARY before my family visits for a few months from a warmer climate, and we were guaranteed their company could do it, otherwise we'd have gone somewhere else. I know of no other company who can walk around getting contracts for work and then just complete them on whatever timeline they feel like. Do they expect that we just sit here waiting for them for 6 months, 9 months, 12 months, or longer? And all the while they want to tell us we can't cancel the service that they've failed to provide in a timely manner? This is ridiculous. The customer service is the worst I've seen for a company that apparently regularly gets contracts worth thousands or tens of thousands of dollars, and poor business practice in general with them expecting us to sign binding contracts with a never ending time-frame for completion. I am disgusted by them. My wife and I will be contacting the BBB to file a complaint while I work up through their administrative chain until I find someone who at least reads the customers' contracts before stating what can and cannot be done about a certain situation. read more

Would NOT recommend this company for roofing. They replaced our TPO roof in the summer of 2020. Within 6 months, I was having trouble with my dryer and had to eventually have it replaced. It turns out that MLM sealed all the vents on our roof (2 dryer vents and 4 bathroom exhaust vents) because they did not have the proper materials on site and used what they had. After much back and forth, they came out to fix the issues but used vents that are not meant for TPO roofing and instead of using TPO tape, they drilled holes into the roof and messily (but not completely) covered with silicone which is now peeling off. We then had a second roofing company come out for an inspection and they recommended repairs and pointed out the concerns for future leaks with the way MLM did the initial installation. MLM has yet to get back to us on how they are going to fix their second round of mistakes. They acknowledge receipt of my emails but will not schedule any follow up. They're a big company and don't seem to care about the quality of their work. They reimbursed me for my new dryer but seem to think that throwing money at the problem means they don't have to address their mistakes. Again, do NOT use this company. read more

Another no-show story. We've been getting door knockers from these guys for *years,* so this spring we finally decided to give them a call. When making the appointment, I specified that my mother, the homeowner, was stuck out of the country for a few more weeks and asked if it would be okay for just the consultation if she skyped in instead (she'll be here in person later this month). After consulting with someone, the lady said sure, and after I asked my mom to see if she'd be okay staying up late her time I scheduled it with them for 11pm her time, 10am our time. The day of the appointment--nothing. No one showed, no phone call, nothing. When I called 40 min after the appointed time, after a loooooooong hold the phone rep came back and said that they'd left 2 voicemails saying no one could come after all bc they had a "policy change" in the week since we talked that said the homeowner had to be there in person. No problem with a policy change, but def an issue with a convenient made up excuse and a lie about notifying us. And when I initially made the appointment, I had been very clear to ask. At best, terrible communication and chain of command, at worse, straight up dishonesty. They also had my email, and no one notified me in any way). Reading the range of reviews on this site (toggling from stellar to horrific, with not much in between), it seems like rather than a tightly run operation this more like a loosely coordinated subcontracting outfit. They corrected the mistake and replaced the part of the roof where the wrong materials were used. The pros of this company are good financing and a good warranty that can be (hopefully) trusted due to the company's longevity. Cons are that you are not getting personalized, attentive service but are working with commissioned employees who want a quick sale. Would recommend, but with caution. read more

OK so MLM replaced my roof in 2018 and I got a leak. I hired a private contractor to inspect the "new" roof and he let me know what was up there. The contractor stated that it was one of the worst roofing jobs he had ever seen. See first set of photos. I contacted MLM and spoke with Deb. She sent out their roofing supervisors and MLM agreed that the roof was not up to their standards. Apparently the team that they had replace my roof was not up to standard and was fired. MLM agreed to replace my roof with the best Corning shingle on the market with lifetime guarantee and to replace all the gutters and gutter covers damaged by the now dismissed crew. I am happy to say that MLM did more that I could have hoped to correct this situation. MLM made sure to have a supervisor on premises for the entire roof/gutter replacement job. MLM sent their best roofing crew and they did an outstanding job! My new roof looks great--the new 6 inch gutters are beautiful and the damage to the kitchen ceiling where the leak showed up has been repaired and painted. I am very impressed how MLM took full responsibility and corrected the mistake--that is the mark of a truly professional company. I want to thank Deb for coordinating everything. I also want to thank Alex, James and Tyler for their supervision of the job. You can see the difference in the photos between the first roof and the second. Worst experience I've had with any company in a long time. Horrible communicators. They rescheduled nearly every appointment to come to our house, which, in times of COVID while working from home with a newborn baby, caused significant stress and frustration, as we would plan to leave our house for the day only for them to not show up. It was as if they had two different schedules at the company that people were operating on. We would call the day before a planned appointment to confirm they were coming, they would confirm, and then not show up the following day. There were times where I would talk to two different people at the company within a span of ten minutes, and one would tell me that we were on the schedule, while the other would tell me we were not. After they finished the roof work, we had to give them a list of 10+ things that were wrong/messed up from their job, including punching two holes through our ceiling, which took them over a month to fix. While our project manager would say he was looking after us and welcomed us to the "MLM Family", their actions proved otherwise. Find a different roofing company to do your job. read more

Would NOT recommend this company for any roofing. They replaced our roof in the winter of 2021. Within weeks, a leakage from the roof showed up. After months of back and forth, they came out to fix the issues but instead ran a test using water hose to prove their own theory ("It is not MLM's fault"). MLM has yet to get back to us on how they are going to fix the leakage they left us with - continues to damage our property. He promised to work with the insurance adjuster to get me full benefit, but failed to show up and no response to me after several calls (left text/voice mail etc). He also put a tarp on my roof but demanded I pay the money to HIM PERSONALLY, which is kind of strange and smelled fishy. This kind of behavior is not professional and will tarnish MLM's reputation. Right now, I am not sure whether I would consider to work with MLM in the future. Not sure whether this is the company or the individual. Predatory salesman 'Craig Strong' showed up at our home and, without asking, noted he would be going up on our roof to do some work. When questioned about his affiliation he claimed our home had suffered wind damage and hhis inspectionss was free and insurance would cover any recommended repairs. Guy from MLM showed up at my door offering a free roof inspection. I said "yes please, I do need a new roof". They did the inspection and I was told I would get an estimate for roof replacement within 4-5 hours. They ghosted me. Never heard back. I called, I texted, I emailed multiple times over the next couple of weeks. Never received a response. TWO AND A HALF MONTHS later they finally call to sell me a new roof. When I asked why I they had not answered any of my messages. "We were busy". No apology. I really don't understand why they treated me like this. read more

MLM installed a new roof on our home in May 2021. Did a excellent job. Six weeks later (July 2021) a tree on an adjoining property fell and damaged a corner of the Roof (puncturing the roof sheathing), damaged Gutter and Facia - covered by insurance. I requested that MLM come out and make the repairs. They sent the same job foreman who had managed the job. He did a temporary repair and all attempts to get MLM to do the repair work has fallen on deaf ears. I have been told repeatedly that they would call/send an estimator by. That has not happened. The job is apparently too small to bother with as they only want full roof replacement jobs covered by insurance. Very, very, very poor follow up on their Work. I cannot recommend them, although I would have and did before this latest. Follow up is not their thing as is customer relations. read more

They come to my house and offering free inspection of my roof after the hail, which they found some damages and one of the shingles is missing. So, we contact the home insurance company and worked to get a roof replacement. Roof installation job is finished in one day and half. After the installation finished, Angel the project manager comes by and inspected my house to make sure everything is okay. I would say overall experience is great. read more

Give em all a huge raise- the workers arrived early and worked their behinds off removing and replacing our shingles on a super hot day. James went around and used a metal detector to locate any stray nails that might've been left on the property and the crew did a beautiful job cleaning up. Terribly disappointing experience. Contracted them to do our roof replacement. Started out wonderful - lots of phone calls and emails and communication from them. Salesperson answered all of our questions and concerns, walked us through the entire process, helped us navigate insurance. Then, to get the work started, we wrote them the check. It went downhill from there. Silence. No response to phone calls or emails. After multiple unanswered inquiries, we were informed our salesperson left the company. Assigned new sales person. A week later he left the company. Since that time, we have had no direct contact and every question or concern was then answered by whomever we could reach with "that's not my job". Additionally, we paid them for services we were later informed they do not render. (Interior damage restoration). We've repeatedly asked for the return of the monies paid for these services not rendered and for the last four weeks, every week, the response changes "check was overnighted to you"; "check will be hand delivered to you"; "check is in the mail" . . . . . It would seem that due to the high rate of staff turnover and the difficulty issuing rightfully owed refund for services not rendered, the company is experiencing some internal turmoil, financial or otherwise. There are so many quality, honest, organized roofing companies out there, best to avoid MLM until they're in a more stable position. read more
